They walked out together to find their elders actually talking to each other.
"i'm back" SJ said walking back into the kitchen with her arms around James' shoulders.
"Olivia this is my son James. James this is Olivia Benson" Trevor said proudly at his son.
"Dad & Serena talk a lot about you. Sorry dad but her success rate is better in my eyes than yours."
"You are your mother's son."
Olivia, Brian & Serena left after some polite words; James kissed Serena on cheek when they left.
Halfway down the street, Brian suggested that they stop and pick up some dinner on the way back to the apartment.
They all choice their favourites before they headed to the apartment, when they got back to the apartment the girls took the food to the living room while Brian went to get the forks & Chopsticks as well as some glasses.
He placed them down in front of them and went back to the kitchen.
"Water or Juice?" Brian said
"water baby" Olivia replied.
"I'll have some milk if you've got any!"
"Sure Skittles!"
Slowly they started eating, Olivia noticed Serena slowly savouring her food and decided that she wanted to try what Serena was eating.
"Serena may i try some of that?"
"Sure. I'll let you work out what it is made up from" she said passing over her food and taking Olivia's from her.
"Hey this is different. Packed with Vegetables but can't pick the meat!" Olivia said passing it back.
"That's because there isn't any meat in it. It's tofu"
"You're a vegetarian?"
"Nah just like Tofu!"
It was 10pm before Brian went to bed and left the girls to talk.
"you love Brian don't you?" SJ asked.
"Yeah I do love him!"
"Do you ever regret giving us up? And not telling Fin about us?"
"i did sometimes when my old partner used to push me on why i didn't have kids if i loved them so much. As for not telling Fin i didn't want to be the reason for his marriage breaking up. So you have talked to him about this?"
"Not really we have mainly talked about Baseball and school. He told me we have an older brother!"
"Ken he works at a homeless shelter and lives with his husband. So you like baseball?"
"Yeah been to a few games."

They talked for about an hour before Olivia went to bed, SJ looked over to Brian's bookshelf where she found his police manuals.
