In a months span, Gabriella felt like she was a nobody anymore. She was with Troy for six months, and she was extremely upset when he missed their dinner. It wasn't like they celebrated months or anything, but six months was a huge deal. It being december, and things popping up, she was furious that he wasn't falling through with his plans. She had to get to the bottom of things now. Thats when she heard a laugh coming from down the hall. Gabriella looked at Kelsey talking to her Troy at his locker. She giggled and he laughed at her. Gabriella felt jealousy eat her up inside. How could this girl do this? She knew he was taken. Chad walked up to her.

"What's up Gabs?" He asked looking at her. She frowned.

"He's with... Her." She said wrinkling up her nose. Chad laughed.

"Kelsey?!" He asked cheerfully. "She's so cool! She hangs with us sometimes." Gabriella froze.

"Wait she does?" She asked him.

"Yeah. Troy brings her over to my house sometimes." He said shrugging. Gabriella's heart broke into pieces.

"I have to go." She said turning away and leaving quickly. Troy and Kelsey walked up to Chad.

"Why did Gabriella leave?" Troy asked Chad as he hugged Kelsey.

"No idea." Chad said shrugging. "So Kels, what's the plans for tonight?" He asked.

"Party at my house." She smirked looking at Troy. "All my friends from my other school are going.

Gabriella threw her things into her locker, grabbing some books. She huffed feeling anger and jealousy consume her body. She frowned looking at the picture of her and him at her cousins wedding. She sighed getting mad again, throwing more books in her locker.

"Someone's a little cranky..." She heard Troy say next to her. He ran his hand up her right side. Gabriella didn't even respond to him. "What's wrong?" He asked her getting closer. She looked at him with a scowl on her face. She was trying to read his expression. She huffed looking back to her locker. He was getting mad now. "What did I do?" He asked her. She slammed her locker door with all the force she had scarring him.

"I don't know, ask your girlfriend Kelsey. Seems you've been hanging out with her a lot lately." She yelled at him. She began walking away. She just wanted to cry. He chased her.

"There's nothing going on with me and her." He told her softly running up next to her. She frowned wiping a tear.

"Really? Because I hear that you bring her to hangout with Chad." She said walking quicker. He realized how bad that sounded.

"Brie its nothing I swear." He said grabbing her hand. She stopped letting go of his hand. He frowned seeing her do that. "Her dad's a college rec-"

"I need some space." She said continuing to walk. "And don't follow." He stared at her leave pulling her keys out, walking away. He felt his heart break seeing her leave.

Troy groaned turning around to go to practice, when he realized she was about to walk home. He panicked and turned around running to the door. He looked around and saw her walking down the sidewalk. He ran to his car, getting in and driving after her.

"Gabriella get in the car!" He shouted. She kept walking, making him bang his fists off the steering wheel. He halted his car, parking and running in front of her.

"I told you not to follow me!" She screamed. He grabbed her.

"I need you to tell me that we're okay." She frowned.

"Is it because I had a pregnancy scare? Is it because you're afraid that you've hurt me before. Is that why you want to be with someone prettier?" She asked sobbing. He frowned wanting to hold her and kiss her. "We don't have sex like we used to Troy..." She said crying. "Are you cheating on me?" She asked crying harder.

"Gabriella I'm not cheating on you." He said trying to grab her and pull her into him but she resisted. "I love you too much." He said.

"Someone left me a note in my locker explaining how they knew that you've been sleeping with Kelsey." he read over the note. "Look, I understand. We should have just stayed friends. Were done." She said walking down the street. He stood there watching her walk away. There was no use of trying to get her now. He looked back at the note frowning. He sighed walking to the car seeing her walk away.

Troy ended up going to the party and getting really drunk. He was frustrated in need of getting intoxicated. He did that pretty well when he wound up on a bed. He looked around seeing Kelsey walk in. He followed her walk as she ended up on the bed straddling him. He looked up at her as she played with his shirt.

"Why are you tense?" She asked stroking his arm. He looked up running his arms up and down her side.

"Gabriella broke up with me." He said bringing his hands all the way, unclasping her bra. She smirked.

"What happened?" She asked bending down, arching her back kissing his neck.

"Someone told her me and you were fucking." He said rubbing her hips.

"But were not?" She asked.

"I know." He said playing with her skirt. He smirked. "It was you wasn't it?" He asked flipping them over pressing his core powerfully against hers. She moaned softly.

"How did you know?" She purred pulling his shirt off. He lent down.

"Instincts." He said inches from her lips.

Gabriella cried in her room the rest of the night. She did everything she could to keep him and it all ended with a letter. The love of her life was gone because of this one girl. She frowned looking at herself in the mirror looking at how she wasn't pretty enough because of the girl he was with. She sighed looking at her phone, staring at her background. She couldn't go to sleep knowing he was out and partying. Her phone finally went off, making her jump and answer the phone.

"I fucked up." She heard him slur. She frowned tears rolling down her face. She knew it.

"How?" She said softly.

"Kelsey." Her stomach dropped.

"What about her?" She asked him, sitting up fully alert.

"She was a huge mistake." He slurred again. "Gabriella can you get me?" He asked her.

"I'll be there soon, go outside." She grabbed her car keys off the table and ran out of her room. She bolted out of the door finding him stand there on her front lawn. She walked up to him slapping him in the face. "Sorry, but it felt good." He rubbed his face slowly.

"I deserved that." He said standing there fine. She observed him closely.

"Are you even drunk" She asked him crossing her arms. He shook his head.

"No I drank a lot." He said kicking the ground. "I sobered up. I stopped drinking an hour ago." She sighed turning around and walking up the driveway to the house. "Brie, let me explain myself." He said frowning and chasing her.

"Instincts." He said inches from her lips.

"Good." She said leaning up to kiss him.

"Tell me." He said pulling back a little. She rolled her eyes. "Did you make this plan to break me and Gabriella up?" He asked her. She had a feline smile curling up.

"Well of course." She said playing with his shirt. "You're so hot and deserve someone so much better." She said sitting up trying to take her shirt off. He stopped her.

"You do realize she's the love of my life right? The woman I plan to marry and have kids with." He asked her. She rolled her eyes.

"Yeah I get it, fairytale ending." She said in annoyance.

"So thank you for being the biggest slut and ruining that." He stood up, leaving the room. "Oh and fuck you." He said.

"You do realize you were the one coming back to me and not her." She shouted. "Think about that." He was raged, storming off.

"So you told her off?" She asked him as they sat on her porch. He nodded making her sigh. She brought her knees up to her chest, looking at a broken man sit next to her. He was disheveled and he had a frown.

"I messed up so bad. I lost the love of my life." He said looking over to Gabriella. She looked at him.

"You didn't lose me Troy. You disappointed me, but you didn't lose me." She said biting the rim of her sweater. He sighed reaching for her hand holding it.

"I was so caught up in the life she was throwing at me. She took me to games, bought me things, did all these things for me that I didn't have. It was like someone was buying me all these things in persuasion to have me." He looked at her. "You give me love and tenderness. You don't have to buy my happiness. I think that's why I love you so much. We've been through so much that you're my protective blanket. I think that part of our relationship that you've never crossed came and got me in the ass. I shower you with things but I never would want that from you. So I think I got caught up with Kelsey giving me those things." He said resting his head on his arms that were draped across his knees.

"I know." She said looking at the floor. "I just, didn't want to lose you. I was sitting here thinking that we started off extremely physical and then when it died down we were-"

"Don't finish that sentence." He said looking at her sternly. She bit her lip letting a tear fall down. "I can't bring myself to have sex with you since the pregnancy scare. I can't put you through that again." He said. "We were so careful and since I didn't take proper birth control it worried me." He pulled her into him. "I feel like we've been together longer than that." She sighed snuggling up to him. "Everything's going to be alright." She smiled as he lent over giving her a soft kiss.
