Chapter 13:

*Myra's POV*

Moving in was a little easy because all I had was personal stuff and the furniture is cool. I decided to say thanks by cooking up dinner tonight. Base on the foods in his kitchen, he eats organic so this should be easy. So I made Shrimp Louis. A modern take on a 1950's classic dish.

"Something smells good," Zak comments smiling big, entering into the kitchen.

"Why thank you," I smiled, mixing everything together. "I wanna say thank you for everything Zachary in a proper matter. Would you like to set the table please?" I asked still smiling.

"Of course," he smiles back.

Zak sets up the table for two as I place the meal in serving bowls on the table.

"Do you mind if I pray?" I asked, sitting down in one of the chairs.

"I don't mind," he smiles, holding my hand.

I smiled and bowing my head to do the meal prayer.

"Amen," he said, sending it.

"Amen," he mumbles under his breath as we release our hands.

My heart warms up hearing that.

We eat the food and I can tell he really enjoys my cooking.

"You like it?" I asked with a smile, taking a bite of food.

"You can cook better the me!" Zak comments with a huge smile, eating more.

"Don't eat too fast though," I said when he started to pick up his eating. "It isn't healthy to do so."

"You're acting like a mother," he chuckles.

"Is that bad?" I asked, concerned.

"Oh no!" he says, noticing my eyebrows frowned. "I actually think it's cute," a smile appears again on his face. "Definitely something to look forward to," he smirks to me before focusing on his food.

A blushing smile appears on my face as I focus on my food. I love children and I am glad to hear that there's a possibly for a family in the future.

"I can do the dishes if you like," I offered, putting the dishes together.

"Now you're acting like a housewife," he chuckles again, offering his dishes.

"I'm more on the lines of a housewife whenever I am not studying history or helping lost souls," I explained, standing up and holding the dishes.

"You don't mind with help, right?" he asked, helping me out.

"I don't mind," I smiled, offering him a towel to dry.

Once I get everything settled, my hands does the work. Zak and I managed to work very well together. He tells me when things go and some of my tips goes well with his organization.

"Tomorrow, I will be working all day, but I'll be at home," Zak answers.

"Okay, I will bring you meals and drinks, if you like," I offered.

"Sounds awesome," he accepts it.

Soon the dishes are done around seven o'clock.

Zak offers to put on a movie which I agreed. While he gets everything ready, I have decided to put on my night clothing. Tonight's night clothing contain sof a pair of black pajamas pants and a black undershirt. I brush my hair and teeth before returning back.

On the screen of the television shows the main menu of the Dracula movie starring Bela Lugosi! My excitement grew when I see that.

I sit next to him on the couch as the lights turn off.

Dracula then enters Lucy's room his nightly feed of blood. That's when Zak places his arm around my shoulders, bringing me closer. I snuggle up to his side, enjoying the rest of the movie like this.

"What should we do now?" I asked when the movie ends.

"I actually need to wake up early tomorrow," Zak says, looking at me. "Production work."

"Oh, okay," I smiled, standing up. "I might as well go to bed as well. Today was a very eventful day."

"Still amazing though?" he asked, standing up as well, sounding hopeful.

I giggled a little, "of course. Well goodnight Zachary, thank you for everything."

"You're very welcome, Myra," he smiles softly.

He then spreads his arms out for a hug. I happily accept it. Having his arms around me made me feel safe and sound. More securted as wever. The side of my face snuggles into his chest as little, squishing my glasses a bit.

"Sweet dreams," he whispers softly before pulling away.

We both smiled to each other, secretly wanting to continue to embrace each other.

Soon I turn around to walk towards my room, but of course I turn back smiling to an almost in a daze Zak Bagans. I know I should go jump int crazy things I am doing now after a bad breakup, but everything and everyone is telling that I am doing is the right thing for me.

I get into bed under the covers to place my glasses on the end table and turn off the light.

*Dreamland*

I was sleeping peacefully on my side, surrounded by light up candles. My night clothing gets replaced with a gorgeous black and red Vampire Lady dress with three quarter sleeves and a small, ball gown skirt. My hair is half up and half down in curls.

A shadow appears behind me before revealing himself. Zak. he wore a black on black nice suit with a black/blood red cape. The look on his blue eyes says what he is feeling. Hungry. He's hungry for my pale flesh. In particular my blood.

I awaken by his presence and turn onto my back to face him with my eyes half closed. One arm is laying up and around on top of my head. The others lays on my stomach.

Lust wasn't here in any shape or form. Just love between us.

He slowly leans down to my neck to sink his fangs in my pale flesh.

*Reality*

Little did I know, a sleeping, shirtless Zak is having the same dream.
