Chapter 14- uNpOpUlAr RePuTaTiOn

Lucy's tapped her finger tips vigorously against the wooden school desk, eyeing everyone around her every ten seconds. When she caught the same god damn girls quickly looking away when their eyes met hers, she groaned audibly and turned to face Natsu. "Gray was wrong, it's been long enough and this still hasn't passed over!"

Natsu spared a glance at the clock hanging on the wall, and then looked back to the paranoid blonde. "Lucy, it hasn't even been five minutes since the bell rang."

"Even then it's too long for me!" Her voice unintentionally rose with every word, and at this realization she buried her head in her folded arms. "I'm sorry," she groaned, "I'm just not used to having rumours go around the school about me."

Natsu chuckled and flicked some blonde hair to land in front of her face. "Well think about it this way, your life is impacting others and it's so important that they have to talk about you."

Lucy grumbled, "I guess so." She laid her head onto the side so she could look at Natsu and asked, "What was the strangest rumour you've heard about yourself."

"Well, just to name a few, there's one that me and Gray were in a secret relationship, although the one with Erza was probably a weirder one. Another rumour is that I had plastic surgery, but one of the more extreme one would probably be that I murdered my dad."

"…Wow, you're definitely not new to this whole rumour thing."

Natsu grinned. "Yep, not to brag or anything but I'm a bit of a pro in that subject."

In the middle of their conversation, the chair beside Natsu was pulled out for someone to sit in, and the two looked to the left to see who had interrupted them. "Natsu, I need your advice." Loke said and then noticed the blonde beside him. "Oh, Lucy, you could help me too."

Natsu adjusted his chair so he could easily face both people then focused his attention mainly on the ginger. "Okay, what's up?"

"So there's this girl I'm kinda seeing, and she's been on my list of 'Chicks to Bang' for a while now." He explained and Lucy briefly wondered if she was on that list.

"What's her name?" Lucy asked.

"Can't really remember, it's not that important anyway." Loke said and waved her question off. "Anyway, like last night she did this big ass confession that she has some kind of STD, so now I'm torn on whether or not to do her, what do you think?"

"Dude, no." Natsu instantly put in his option with no hesitation.

Loke nodded then looked at Lucy. "What do you think?"

"Wait, seriously? Oh God no, don't do it."

He hummed with this new information then looked at the two. "So I'm guessing I probably shouldn't?"

Natsu placed his hands on Loke's shoulders and looked deep into his eyes. "Loke, because I'm your friend I'm going to tell you this; do not, and I repeat, do not sleep with this chick, find someone else."

"Okay, you're right." Loke adjusted his glasses as he nodded. "So Lucy, you seeing anyone these days?"

Natsu put the palm of his hand to the back of Loke's head and forcefully pushed for his forehead to collide with the desk. "Not her, dumb ass."

.:After Class:.

"So where do you girls usually sit?" Loke asked.

"O-oh well um, it changes every now and then so I can't really say."

"You should sit with us." Natsu suggested and looked down at her.

"R-Really? Are you sure? I mean I'd have to find Levy first." She blushed and automatically started to look for the bluenette.

"She's probably already heading there with Gajeel or something." Natsu assured and pulled her in the other direction, with Loke walking beside Natsu.

"Yeah, Gajeel always sits with us, unless he's off doing something illegal." Loke chimed in.

Lucy's eyebrows furrowed at his words. "What…what does he do?"

Loke grimaced. "I don't think you wanna know."

The three reached the group and Lucy instantly felt intimidated. This just wasn't right. They were all so perfect and amazing and wonderful, everything she isn't.

Not to mention everyone here probably thinks she's some man stealing slut.

"Heeey! Lucy!" Gray greeted with a wave. "Quick, everyone hide your boyfriends."

Lucy groaned and went to sit beside Levy, who she quickly noticed was already sitting at the table with Gajeel. "It was one time and it was an accident." She defended herself while Juvia looked at the blonde then Gray, only to cling her arms around her boyfriend's biceps.

"Where's Lisanna?" Erza asked.

"She's not here today; her sister's got a thing that she has to go to." Natsu answered and Lucy almost screamed at the sound of his voice so close to her, not realising that he had sat beside her. The pinkette turned to look at her, having noticed her shock. "You okay?"

Lucy put a hand to her chest to try and conceal the heavy beats of her heart. "Y-yeah, I'm fine."

"Anyway, are will still on for after school?"

Lucy gasped and she looked around the table to see if anyone had heard, and luckily, they hadn't. "N-Natsu!" She faltered, "W-what are you talking about?"

So much for trying to slow her heart rate.

Natsu eyed her wearily. "I'm talking about going for a run, what are you thinking about?"

Lucy's cheeks erupted with colour and she rubbed her arm awkwardly. "Oh yeah. I'm still good with that."

"You know, I'm starting to think this whole man stealing thing is beginning to go to her head." He snickered and Lucy jokingly punched his shoulder.

Okay so um yes hello once again its been like a year idk anymore

Anyways this chapter was extremely hard to write because I have no idea in which direction to go and unlike before, the ideas don't just come instantly to me

And I have no idea how im going to break Natsu and Lisanna up damn it

Sorry for the short-ish chapter but I'm going to be trying to update more frequently now
