So this is chapter 14! Oh my gosh! I think I just might pull it off! My goal is only two chapters away! *squeal* I can't believe it! You guys have been so incredibly supportive. It mean sooo much to mean. I can't even tell you how much. I hope for your support in any future stories I choose to do. As a matter of fact I've for another special I'm working on at the moment. Its for Christmas and is my present to all of you! Its just to say thanks and all that. Depending on when this chapter is posted it might be the next published work for me. So I hope you can wait.
The name of the new one shot is called Always and Forever. It is in fact a Christmas fic featuring my fave pair. I've taken a different approach with this than I normally have so I hope you really like it. In the mean time please enjoy this next chapter of Goodbye Isn't Forever!

Summary: After being faced with the tragic death of her parents and memory loss in a car crash two years ago Sakura has adapted to living with her foster parents. They moved to Konoha and now Sakura is attending Konoha prep, there's just one catch though this is a school for vampires and humans so they can mingle together. Sakura meets Sasuke and his friends and learns some dark secrets that are the key to unlocking her past, without it she might not have a future. As if highschool wasn't bad enough she now struggles to remember things from her past life and deal with the threat that claimed her life before. Not to mention she's falling for the gorgeous vampire prince Uchiha Sasuke. Whats a girl to do?

Chapter 14 Coming Together

Sakura's P.O.V.

I felt very comfortable. Something was wrapped around me and it was warm. Very warm. It smelled nice to. The scent was familiar. I felt myself being lulled back to sleep and I would have fallen asleep again if it hadn't shifted.
Opening my eyes I was met with a pale neck. Dark hairs brushed across my eyelashes and slightly tickled my nose. I blew air out of my mouth to bowl the hairs away and felt myself shift again.
Lifting my head up slightly I was able to see the sleeping face of the person I was sprawled across. Sasuke.
He had his arms wrapped around my bare waist and I realized I wasn't wearing a shirt. How did that happen? The I noticed he wasn't wearing a shirt either. Looking around the room I noted soft morning light filtered in through the gaps in the curtains. It was still very early. I didn't want to be awake yet so I buried my face back into Sasuke's neck and shifted till I was comfortable.
As if sensing my movement his arms tightened around me and he shifted me again. Now I was practically lying on top of him. My head tucked under his chin. I closed my eyes again only to open them again when something fell across my face.
Peeking open one eye I saw long strands of pink. That was odd. Hadn't my hair been cut? I wiggled my arm free from his grasp and reached out to grab it. The moment my hand touched it my world spun. I felt myself being flipped over.
Opening both eyes I looked straight up into sleepy dark orbs. I was instantly captivated and I could see my own eyes reflected in his. He held my gaze captive for a few moments longer before closing his eyes and leaning down. He spoke but it was muffled against my skin so I couldn't understand too well but it sounded like 'too early, go back to sleep.
I pushed all thoughts from my head and tried to sleep but I was much to awake now. I waited a good ten minutes before moving again. This time I was met with no resistance so I slipped out of the bed carefully.
I walked to the door placing my steps so they wouldn't be heard. I was almost to the door and about to open it when something warm wrapped around my waist. A low growl sounded in my ears and I felt a tingle shoot down my spine.
"Sa-ku-ra where are you going"? His fingers started tracing patterns on my stomach and I found myself unable to breathe properly, much less think rationally.
I turned around in his arms and looked up into his eyes. Immediately becoming entranced. He bent down and traced his nose along my cheek and trailed it down my neck.
"I-I was ju-just get-ting so-something to-o eat. I'm hu-hungry". I managed to stutter out. My breath hitching randomly. He pulled back and a smirk painted his mouth making my heart stutter. His smirk grew after hearing it and my face heated up.
"I don't think so". He dragged me back to the bed and tossed me on it before climbing on himself.
His eyes were dark and smoldering and I felt like prey before the hunter. I shook my head at the more than appropriate term for this situation. Sasuke did indeed resemble a predator on the prowl.
He pushed me back so my head hit the pillows and bent over me. His tongue tracing one of the veins in my neck.
I shivered at the moist warmth and felt him smirk against my neck again. His teeth grazed my neck and I waited anticipating the bite, but it never came.
He pulled back an almost grin stretching across his face. I grabbed a pillow from beside me and whacked him in the face with it before jumping up off the bed and racing for the door
I froze when I realized I'd reached the door in a second. I turned around my eyes wide to stare at him. The scowl/smirk disappeared off his face when he saw my expression.
"Sakura? What's wrong? Tell me what's wrong". His voice pleaded with me. I blinked several tines before answering.
"H-how did I get over here so fast"? I said my voice barely above a whisper.
"You mean you don't remember"? He asked just as quietly. Yet I heard him with perfect clarity. As if he'd been speaking in a normal tone.
I thought hard but everything was fuzzy. It made my head ache to force it to clear up. I brought my hands up to my head hoping to clear it up and kill the ache at the same time but no such luck. The harder I concentrated the worse it became.
His hands came up and covered my stilling the notions all together. "Don't force it you'll remember soon. Let's get dressed and I'll gather everyone downstairs. Let's see if we can't fill the gaps in your memories".
I think that is the most I'd ever heard him say in one go. Normally I might have teased him over it but right now many things were saying heavily on my mind. Like the fact that I could hear his heartbeat now. (A fact that I'd just realized) and that I could move so fast. My hearing and sight were so much sharper now. What happened to me that I can't remember?

Sasuke's P.O.V.

I watched her the whole way down stairs. She looked deep in thought. A crease between her eyebrows. Whatever she's thinking about certainly troubled her and greatly. Perhaps it was he slack of memory.
After everyone had been brought to the living room I had my mother start with the day she and Yuumi were attacked over three weeks ago. I filed in any details she forgot with Yuumi adding in what she remembered before the rest of us got back to the house.
Sakura looked particularly angry at the parts Yuumi told and the treatment she received from Madara. I could see anger rolling around her just waiting to lash out at someone.
There were some things she just couldn't recall, things we couldn't fill in for her because we weren't present when it occurred. So she has a two week blank in her memory but I'm sure that will clear up in time.
Finally we got to the part where I told her that I had to change her to save her life. She stayed quiet for several minutes not looking at anyone. Finally she looked up directly at me. An unknown emotion dancing in her eyes.
"Well I'm glad that its finally over. We don't have Madara to worry about anymore. I need to be alone for a little while". With that said she rose from her seat and walked out of the room. I watched her back disappear around the corner before looking down at the floor until a hand dropped on my shoulder.
Looking up I saw my mother looking down at me. "Give her some time Sasuke. She needs to get used to this life again. Remember this time around she didn't have a say in becoming a vampire. She'll adjust just wait". With that said she left the room Yuumi following right behind.
"You mom is right Sasuke, everything will be fine". Naruto said in one of his serious moments before hitting me on the back and leaving the room with Hinata.
One by one they all left and I was left alone in the room. I sat there for a long time. Listening to sounds from different parts of the house. Some farther away then others.
The sun had started to set and by that time I realized the day had gotten away from me. Footsteps coming my way caught my attention. A familiar scent entered the room and the footsteps walked towards me. Now the person was standing directly behind me.
As pair of arms dropped over my shoulders as the person leaned over the back of the couch I was sitting on. Then pink entered my vision as they laid their head on top of their arms.
"I'm sorry I left like that. I just wanted to be alone for awhile". Sakura said as she buried her face in my neck. I grabbed her hand and held it tightly in mine never wanting to let go.
"Its fine. You'll need time to adjust anyways". I turned to look at her over my shoulder and waited for her eyes to look up at me.
Red tinged green stared back at me. Meaning she was getting hungry again. I pulled her arms off my shoulders and stood up. She smiled slightly and the tip of a fang peeked out between her slightly parted lips. I grabbed her hand and lead her upstairs. This was going to be a long night.

Six months later
Sakura's P.O.V.

Time had really gone by fast. Its hard to believe that only a short time I was moving back to Konoha and meeting Sasuke and everyone again. I miss some things though. Like my foster parents.
I'm kind of resentful towards them. We found out that they were in league with Madara and Orochimaru. Though not of their free will. It was all to protect me from them. So they were forced into it to keep me safe. Even though it was a lie.
I was mad that they had been so easily manipulated. They had always been stronger than that to me.
There wasn't anything I could do about it. They were all dead now. I hope they found peace now that they no longer had to worry about me.
A lot has happened. Hinata is pregnant and she's starting to look like she's about ready to pop. Neji's attempts at subtly trying to kill or strangle Naruto for knocking his cousin up greatly decreased. The occasional one sets off one of Hinata's violent mood swings. Its funny to watch her nock their heads together.
I finally graduated high school. I had a lot of work to make up being gone so long. I managed to get an exemption though. It wasn't exactly my fault I was kidnapped by Madara or the fact that I almost died as a result of it.
After we all left the school Tsunade dropped her place as headmistress and appointed Kakashi in her place. He couldn't do any worse than Tsunade had being her favorite things to do was drink sake and gamble. Kakashi just read that perverted book series and had a back for always being late. So I think it'll be fine.
I've been so busy the past couple of months. I've barely had two seconds to rest. The council has me running back and forth. They think me running all these errands is going to prepare me to rule the kingdom by Sasuke's side when the time comes. Honestly I'm sick of it. The last time I spent any time with him was almost two weeks ago! And yet I'm sitting here in another boring meeting listen to them drone on and on about rules and what not. Its so boring.
Its almost two in the morning now. I've been at this since ten A.M. this morning. Enough is enough already! I stand up and walk to the door. Ignoring their protests for me to come back and sit down.
Just before leaving the room I spin around and tell them off. "Its two in the morning. I'm tired of this. I'm going home now". I slam the door behind me and march down the hall muttering under my breath about inconsiderate jerks keeping people up all night.
I'm not paying attention to where I'm going so I run into something. Or rather someone.
"Bad day"? Asks a familiar voice. Arms wrap around me holding me closer. I bury my face in his chest and nod.
Looking up I see Sasuke smirking down at me. Its been so long since I last got to see him and he was conscious. I've been getting up before him and going to sleep after him. "I missed you" I said while stretching up on my toes. He leans down closer to me but still out of reach. I whined frustrated with him so close but still so far away.
"Sassukeee"! I said dragging out some of the syllables of his name purposely. He smirked again before lowering his head enough for me to reach his lips. I pressed a kiss to him and growled when he pulled away too soon.
"Patience love. Are you done with your lessons for today"? He asked chuckling quietly when I groaned and dropped my head back down on his chest.
"I can't take it anymore! They always talk about the same things, its driving me up the damn wall! From morning till night! I never get to spend any time with you anymore"! I pulled away from him and turned around crossing my arms over my chest in frustration.
"Come on let's go home. Naomi and my mother want to see you about something. Its important, or so they say. Let's go". He grabs my hand and drags me out of the building to the car waiting. I slip in the passenger side and he closes the door behind me. I close my eyes and rest for the twenty minute drive back home.
Before I know it Sasuke is shaking me awake saying we're here. I stagger out of the car, stumbling slightly before shaking my head to wake up. Then I march inside and up the affairs heading for Mikoto's office. That's where she usually is anyways.
I knock on the door and wait to here her soft voice telling me to come in. Once I enter I see Mikoto, Naomi, Yuumi, and several people I don't recognize. One of them a female has very long red hair. Reaching down to her knees and dark violet eyes. The man beside her has spiky blonde hair and blue eyes. I realize these people must be Naruto's parents. Naruto was almost an identical copy of the man.
Beside them stand a man with a long blonde ponytail and baby blue eyes and a woman with almost white blonde hair reaching her waist in straight lengths and green eyes. They must be Ino's parents.
A man with long brown hair in a low ponytail and pale eyes like Hinata and Neji's. A relative of theirs. I'm not sure on his relationship to them as he looks like both of them and Neji and Hinata are cousins.
The last two people are Shikamaru's parents. The man has his hair in a ponytail on the top of his head resembling a pineapple just like Shikamaru and black eyes. The woman has chocolate brown hair and black eyes.
"You wanted to see me Mikoto"? I ask almost silently. Drawing all attention to me. She snaps out of her daze and a smile crosses her face.
"Yes I did. I know its late and your tired but I'm afraid this couldn't wait any longer. As I'm sure you've guessed these are the parents of your friends. As well as friends of mine and Fugaku". She paused a moment letting Mme take all that in.
I nodded before speaking. "I figured as much. Not to seem rude but could we wrap this up? I'm very tired and I have to get up in a few hours so I can go through all this again tomorrow". I stated bluntly stifling a yawn.
"That's what we wanted to address Sakura-San". The woman with pale blonde hair said brushing aside my blunt comment.
"Despite their good intentions we don't agree with how the council has decided to go about teaching you everything you need to know. We feel you'd be better off learning it from us and maybe it wouldn't be so boring".
I forgot my lack of sleep and stared wide eyed at the women. Was she serious? Did that mean I wouldn't have to get up so early anymore? No more late nights and wondering when I next got to spend time with Sasuke?
"What's the catch"? I asked. Good news always came with a price. There was always some strings attached. No matter the situation.
The woman with red hair laughed and stepped forward. "I like this girl she's smart. That's not to say there is a catch however, because there isn't. We meaning Ayame, Mikoto, Naomi, Yuumi and myself would simply like to get to know you better with the exception of Yuumi who already knows you quiet well. Also you would probably like escaping from the elders. They are uh... How to put it"?
"Boring and suck the life out of you"? I asked helpfully. They all blinked at me before the red haired woman burst out laughing.
"I knew it! This girl is too funny"! She said brightly standing up straighter and walking over to me. She placed an arm around my shoulders and gave me a squeeze. "I can tell we'll get along just fine. I'm Kushina Uzumaki and that's my husband Minato". I shook his hand while still under her arm.
The two blondes were Inoichi and Ayame Yamanaka. The man with long hair and pale eyes was Hinata's father Hiashi Hyuga. He was also the twin of Neji's father. The other brunettes were Shikaku and Yoshino Nara.
Mikoto stood up and walked around her desk, coming over to me. She pulled me from under Kushina's arm and into her own. "Now that this has been taken care of I'm sure you'd like very much to go to bed. Don't worry about waking up early tomorrow. You won't have to go back to the elders for lessons anymore. Have a goodnight Sakura".
I yawned hugely before turning and leaving calling a goodnight over my shoulder as I left.
Once the door was closed behind me I immediately spotted Sasuke leaning against the wall. Arms crossed over his chest eyes closed. I knew he wasn't asleep though. A smirk was in his face and I knew he'd heard the whole conversation.
I was too tired to berate him for eavesdropping. Besides I would most likely have told him anyways. So its not like he learned some forbidden secret.
I put my head against his chest and sighed when he wrapped his arms around me. My eyes closed of their own accord. I wasn't able to hold them open any long anyway.
Sasuke shifted me so his arm could slip under my knees and pick me up. I was asleep before he'd taken one step. The last thing I heard was him chuckling and then felt his lips against my forehead.

Three months later
Hinata's P.O.V.

I finally had the baby. Now I didn't look like a whale. Despite Naruto telling me I didn't I know I did. I had been waddling around fro the last month! Does that not spell out whale to you?
Now I had a beautiful little baby girl. We'd given her the name Suki. She has my hair color and Naruto's bright blue eyes. She's simply adorable. Capturing the hearts of those around her. My father was instantly captivated by her the first time he got to see her. She was definitely a charmer.
I think she's going to be just like Naruto. She already has a goofy personality despite being a month old. She constantly makes these silly faces. I know she picked them up from Naruto even if he denies it.
I stroked her soft dark purple-blue hair. Watching her sleep. I'd have to leave in a few minutes. Tenten, Sakura, Naomi, Yuumi, Mikoto, Ino, and I were going out to celebrate. Sakura had finally finished her lessons as a future queen. She had taken something similar before but the roles between human and vampire royalty were very different.
There's different rules to abide by and protocols to follow. Because vampires live much longer than a human most people are better off not knowing we exist. Some humans wouldn't be able cope with the fact that we would outlive them several times over again.
The school we'd all attended had been for those who have a vampire lineage somewhere. With the exception of Sakura of course. Our classmates had little vampire blood or were full vampires.
We were going out to dinner and then whatever else Mikoto, Ino, and Naomi planned. I hadn't wanted to come because of Suki but Ino had begged me pulling the puppy dog face and ranting about how I haven't spent any time away from her. To witch I replied that she was a month old new born and I had every right to spend time with her. She'd just huffed.
We did have fun. Sharing stories from our younger days. Sakura included. She remembered some funny stuff from her past life. Like when she used to hide from her teachers because she didn't want to attend those (as she put it from a six year old perspective) boring lessons with stuck up teachers who wanted to suck the life out of her. We laughed at that. Sakura had some funny stories.
Afterwards Ino insisted we go out drinking. She got totally wasted. Having challenged Tenten and Naomi to a drinking contest. I shook my head at her drunken antics.
Shikamaru had to carry her inside because she couldn't walk two steps without tripping over her feet. The lesson here? Don't challenge Naomi or Tenten to a drinking contest. They can hold their alcohol really well.
When I got back to my room I saw Naruto sprawled on the bed Suki sound asleep on his chest. She rose and fell with his breaths. It was so cute and I hated to brake their little slumber party up but I wanted too sleep to and Naruto was laying on both sides of the bed.
I carefully removed Suki from his chest and placed her in her crib and pulled her blanket over her small body. She snuggled in and curled up into a little ball.
Turning back to the bed I saw Naruto was sitting up rubbing his eyes and stretching before kicking his pants off and tossing his shirt across the room before flopping back on the bed and rolling under the covers.
I changed my clothes for pajamas and climbed into bed. Almost immediately arms wrapped around my waist pulling ne back into a warm body. The snoring in my ear told me Naruto was still asleep. I shook NY head and reached over to turn out the light so I could sleep as well.

Two years later
Sakura's P.O.V.

I was officially freaking out. I wake up this morning and no one is here! The house (castle) is absolutely quite. Not a sound anywhere to be heard. I checked everyone's rooms and received no answers. Where is everyone?
Going back to my room I hear my phone vibrating on the bedside table. Rushing over to it o see its Sasuke calling. I answer it quickly. "Where are you"? His familiar chuckle greets my ears and I scowl knowing a smirk is on his face.
"Calm down Sakura and get dressed. Something nice. Oh and pack a change of clothes". He says completely ignoring my questions.
"Fine but where are you? Why is no one here"? This is very unusual. Someone is always here.
"Did you forget what today is again"? At my silence he sighs and responds. "Its your birthday Sakura. How could you forget something like that"?
I pull the phone away from my ear and glance at the date on the screen. Sure enough it reads March 28. I want to slap myself. How did I forget that again? I had a good excuse for forgetting it before. Not being able to remember much by its different now I have all my memories back and I know everything I forgot before.
I jump out of bed throwing the blankets to the floor and spring over to my closet. He said wear something nice and bring a change of clothes, but he didn't specify exactly what. So I'll have to guess.
I pulled out a green dress. It was strapless and had a white satin ribbon that tied at the waist. The bottom of it was cut so that it fell to my knees at an angle. I pulled that on and then grabbed a pair white flats. Then I went back to my closet in search of something else to wear later.
It was warm outside so I grabbed a pair of jean shorts and a red tank top then a pair of flip flops. I stuffed those into a bag and was just grabbing my phone when the door opened.
"Ready to go"? Sasuke asked standing just inside the room wearing jeans and a dark blue button up dress shirt with the top two buttons undone. I looked him up and down one more time and then grabbed my phone and went over towards him.
"Where are we going"? I asked sweetly hoping to get him to spill.
"Nice try Sakura but its not gonna work this time". He said smirking when I pouted. I really need to come up with a better strategy to get him to tell me stuff because that's not working any more.
Sasuke grabbed my hand and lead me downstairs and out the door and over to his car. Once I was in he started it and we were off.
The drive took about two hours and I became ever curious as to where we were going. He wouldn't answer any off my questions with anything but you'll see. A fact which frustrated me to no end.
Finally he pulled off the main, road turning onto a well used slightly hidden path. I couldn't take it anymore. I really wanted to know where we were going. Not like hell tell me.
A little ways up the path I saw several cars parked. Most of which I'm familiar with. Everyone else is here as well? What's going on?
Before I could open my door Sasuke was there doing it for me. He reached down and took my hand pulling me up out of the car and into his arms. I felt the tension leave me body and my irritation melt away.
I relaxed into his arms and he smoothed my hair down before placing a kiss on the top of my head. I can't possibly stay mad at him when he's so affectionate. A fact he knows all too well. He often uses it to his advantage. Like now for example.
He spun me around and placed his hands over my eyes while murmuring in my ear. "No peeking. Walk forward and I'll help guide you". I resisted the urge to shake his hands off and stalk off.
I walked forward feeling him tug me a little in either direction before we came to what felt like a wide open space. My nose picked up many scents. There were more people here than I'd first thought.
"Okay now open your eyes"! He whispered and removed his hands. I blinked a few times adjusting my eyes to the sudden light.
"SURPRISE"! I heard everyone shout as I focused on them. We were indeed in a clearing. Well it had been a clearing before but now it was decorated. Streamers hung from trees and a banner that said Happy Birthday Sakura in the middle. Most was done in pink and red. I had the strong feeling Ino was behind that.
Everyone I'd come to know well in the las two almost three years was here. Even Hinata and Naruto's daughter Suki. She was two almost three now, and so beautiful. Long hair just like Hinata's and big bright blue eyes. Not to mention a heart stealer.
A few tables had been set up around the edges. One held a sizable stack of presents. The others an assortment of foods and drinks. None of which were alcoholic. Someone must have felt with that. I mean someone other than Ino and Tenten.
Everyone rushed me trying to tell me Happy birthday all at once. Naruto one of the loudest Ino right next to him.
After that Ino insisted I start opening presents with hers being the first. You'd think from her enthusiasm it was her birthday not mine. Then again she'd always loved any excuse to throw a party.
Technically this was my twenty first birthday but if you count the other years that I lived it would be my fourth third. Funny how that works out isn't it?
Ino had gotten me clothes. A few new summer dresses and a small package from her and Shikamaru that said don't open till your alone. She just winked at me when I looked at her questioningly. I shrugged and put it in the bag I brought.
Itachi and Naomi gave me an engraved bracket that had my first name and two charms. One was a small circular pendant inlaid with white diamonds. The second was their family crest. It had rubies on the top and white diamonds on the bottom. When I asked about the circle they told me it was my families crest back when we ruled.
Naruto and Hinata gave me a matching necklace with slightly bigger charms and one addition. Another circular one with a swirl in the middle. Naruto told me that it was his families crest and since I was like his sister I was therefore part of his family. That made me smile.
Mikoto and Fugaku gave me a new journal. Apparently they'd noticed I'd picked up my old habits of writing down things again. Being that my old one was full know I'd take to writing on loose leaf paper. Which was often scattered around mine and Sasuke's rooms.
Kushina and Minato gave me a photo album containing pictures from this life as well as my previous one. Some of which I hadn't know existed. She told me there was something else but it would have to wait until later.
The others said they would give it to me later. Not that I'm complaining or anything but why are there so many that say later. I was merely curious is all.
Sasuke had yet to say or give me anything. When I looked at him he would just smirk and wander off. Pretending to be uninterested. What is he up to with that badly put on act?
Finally when the sun started going down he came and claimed me from Ino and the girls. Asking me to take a walk with him. I briefly toyed with the idea of saying no but something in his eyes told me to accept the offer.
He took my hand lacing his fingers with mine and lead me down an unseen path. We walked along in comfortable silence for several minutes. Eventually I heard the sounds of moving water and up ahead a little ways I could see the suns setting rays dancing across blue water.
He released my hand when I tugged on it and I moved over to the lakes edge. Wanting a closer look. I stared into the crystal waters loving how the setting sun painted the surface with reds, oranges, and yellows.
A snap of a twig had me turning back around, reminding me I wasn't alone. Sasuke stood just behind me. Something small clenched in his hand and an unreadable look in his dark eyes.
"Sakura". He said sensually reaching for my hand and depositing the small object into it. I glanced down at the small dark blue velvet box. Why did it look so familiar? I am almost positive I've seen it before. In fact I'm sure I have.
Looking up he gestured for me to open it. I carefully pinched the lid of the small box open and gasped at what a saw. A two karat diamond ring surrounded with rubies in a circle around it stared back at me. I know why it was so familiar now. This was my ring a long time ago.
I looked up at Sasuke. He was right in front of me now. Inches away. I couldn't believe he still had my ring. I thought it would be gone now, yet here it was. Looking as beautiful and pristine as the day he first gave it to me.
He grabbed my free hand and sank to one knee. A soft smile on his face.
"I can't say I thought I'd ever be doing this again. Never thought I'd have to. Yet here we are once again". I laughed lightly at his statement.
"Sakura I've loved you for a long time now. From the day I first got to know you till the day you died and beyond that. I was happy to meet you again. For me your all there is, and all there ever was. Your my light in the dark. Just hearing you laugh lights up my day. I'd thought I'd spend the rest of my life without you once and I don't want that. Never did. I'll love you for the rest of forever. Would you marry me and spend the rest of your life by my side"?
I wanted to laugh at some of the things he said but didn't. Now wasn't the time for laughter. A few tears slipped from my eyes as I nodded and sank to my knees. He reached for the ring nestled in the box and slid it on my hand before I threw my arms around his neck a muffled yes coming from me.
Applause sounded from behind him and I peeked up to see everyone crowded in between the trees. A mix of joy and tears with the occasional smirk thrown in on their faces.
The last of the suns warming rays slipped from the sky and the stars began to cone out as I pulled back from him and he placed his hands on my face. I didn't see them though I was too focused on him.
He leaned forward and claimed my lips to seal the deal. I felt so happy. Elated even. Everything in that moment was perfect.
Little did I realize the mistake I would make the next day when I told Mikoto and Ino they could plan the wedding and the disaster that would insure from the impending chaos they would cause.

Ta da! Let me just say this was one of the hardest things I've had to write. I feel the ending was kind of cheesy. I had to come up with a new proposal since I can't and didn't want to use the one from before. How lame would that be? To use the same thing a second time?
But hey I'm a sucker for cheesy romantic stuff. Always have been. I feel this scene could have been better. I spent all week working on that last part and I'm still not sure about it. Do me a favor and tell me what ya think would ya? I really need to know that its okay! Or if I need to change it. Again. Love you all hope you appreciate the longer chapter as there are potentially only two, yes TWO chapters left! Ja na!
