Once Barry had gotten his sight back, Alicia got ready to fly to Star City so that she could assist with a savage Sara Lance. She felt nervous and shaky as she walked down to the Arrowcave, to find Thea, Massie, Ollie, Diggle, Felicity, and Laurel all discussing the plan.

"Hey," she said to them, dropping her duffle bag of spare clothing down on the floor.

"Hey, how are you holding up?" Laurel asked her, embracing Alicia.

"Let's just say that my latest adventures as the Angel are better off being spoken about some other time. What's the plan?" Alicia asked, taking a seat. She looked over at Thea and saw that the girl had several deep bruises and cuts on her face that would for sure leave a scar. Taking off one of her gloves, she cut her hand open with her Swiss Army knife that she kept with her at all times for cases like this. She allowed her blood to flow down on the places where Thea's injuries seemed the most severe.

"Thanks," Thea whispered.

"We're going to use Thea to lure Sara to where we want her to be," said Diggle.

"Well I am not really up for the idea of serving up Thea on a platter to Sara like she's a piece of meat," Alicia said nervously.

"It's her life, her choice," Massie said, putting a hand on her sister's arm.

"Okay, so why do you need me here?" Alicia asked.

"It's going to be depending on what we might need you for," said Oliver. He flashed Alicia a small smile. It felt good to see her.

"Well where are we going to be going?" Alicia asked.

"Some place where there are almost no civilians around so that nobody gets hurt," Laurel said tightly. Alicia could tell that Laurel was just nervous.

"Okay." Alicia nodded, letting out a nervous sigh. "Then let's just get moving and get this done so that I can go home to my boyfriend who is currently trying to track down an evil woman who can manipulate the energy of starlight. It's a long, long story, but it resulted in him going blind for an hour."

Oliver nodded and Alicia, Laurel, Thea and Diggle followed him up and out of Oliver's campaign office. Of course, Alicia had heard that Oliver was running for mayor and he had converted his campaign office into a hideout for the Arrow team. Alicia saw that her mannequin for her suit was there, geared specifically to her to account for all her needs. Cisco and her brother Dominic sure did one heck of a job with the place. They went to Thea's old club, the Verdant, so that they could lure Sara there. Alicia set herself shop right next to Oliver and Massie.

"We're in position," Massie whispered to Thea, in case Sara came.

"I have to say, it feels really weird being back here right now," Thea said as she walked down the steps.

"Don't worry, everyone's in position," Diggle informed her.

"It's nothing, okay?" Thea said, uncertainly. "I-I don't think that this is actually going to work." That was the moment Sara came crashing through the glass of a top balcony. "Oh, God, I take that back!" Thea cried. Alicia ran to the edge of where she was hiding and jumped, soaring down to grab hold of Thea before Sara could get her hands on her.

"Hey, Canary," Alicia cried. "Wanna play a little game of 'catch me if you can'?" Alicia flew away, with Sara getting chase, but Laurel tried tackling her sister down. Sara threw Laurel off of her just as Alicia landed with Thea having gotten to safety. Laurel and Oliver managed to get some pretty solid hits, before Laurel pulled out a gun.

"Dad was right!" Laurel cried. "There's nothing left inside of you, Sara!"

That was the moment Massie came flying down like a bat out of hell from her hiding place and she jumped on top of Sara and managed to knock her out with a single punch to the head. Oliver shot Sara with a tranquilizer to keep her unconscious.

"Oliver, what did you do?!" Laurel shouted.

"We're gonna do what we can to help her," Massie panted out. "We're going to get her soul back."

That was the moment that Oliver made a phone call to a man named John, asking how fast that that person could get to Star City.

Alicia looked at Sara. She looked so alive; Alicia could hardly dare to believe that her best friend, the girl that she had loved like a sister her whole life, was back from the dead. She bent down and lifted Sara up and into her arms, and ran out of the abandoned club and flew towards Ollie's empty campaign office. They got everything set up for John Constantine to perform his ritual to get Sara her soul back. When Constantine arrived, he flashed Alicia a small smile as he walked in.

"So what are you going to do, perform some kind of exorcism on my sister?" Laurel asked nervously as she stood next to Lance. Lance was shocked to see that Alicia, the young woman that was like a daughter to him, was the Angel.

"No, an exorcism is a removal of demonic possession," Constantine replied in his thick British accent. "What your sister needs is a restitutionem, the restoration of her soul to her body."

"And you've done this before?" asked Thea.

"Ah, once, maybe a year ago," Constantine said. "But don't you worry; it's just like riding a bike."

"I'm sure we have a lot of work to do to prepare for it," said Oliver. "I assume you brought a list?"

"Apologies; I didn't have time to translate that from its original Aramaic," said the Brit. "You know, if I knew you were surrounded by so many pretty girls, Oliver, I would have stopped by sooner."

"I'm taken with someone," said Alicia.

Diggle brought up how curious he was that Oliver had managed to find this guy. Felicity was just relieved that this friend from Oliver's past was not another gorgeous woman.

"I hate to be the one to say this, but what if something goes wrong?" asked Lance.

"Oh, don't worry, if things go wrong, then we'll all be too dead to care," Constantine replied.

Felicity came around the corner with everything that John Constantine had asked for in order to perform the ritual.

"I think I got everything in here that you wanted, though I am not sure what you need a dead peacock feather for," said Felicity.

Constantine proceeded to use the dead feather to scratch his back, to which Oliver rolled his eyes.

"That's been bugging me for hours," Constantine said. "Now, I've only got enough to send myself and two of you to the other realm and back again."

"I'll do it; she's my best friend, I'll do it," said Alicia, volunteering. "Besides, you'll need my abilities for something."

Constantine nodded in agreement with Alicia.

"I guess I'll do it too," Oliver said, since this was his idea.

Alicia nodded. She felt the need to go to wherever Sara' soul was and get it back, because she knew that after she did that she needed to talk to Sara in person, and not through prayer, because there was so much that she needed to tell her. She had missed the blonde for so many years; now was her chance to get some lost time back with Sara. Alicia and Ollie stood over a small bowl that Constantine had placed right near Sara, and Alicia closed her eyes tight, praying to God that this was going to work.

"Oh, and there's one more thing; whatever has Sara's soul locked away it's not going to give it away without a fight," Constantine added in.

Alicia nodded, mentally preparing herself.

Constantine started a fire into the small bowl, and he proceeded to speak in some ancient language, like he was saying some sort of prayer. Alicia took a deep breath, and soon enough, Alicia felt herself and Oliver being pulled.

"OLLIE!" she screamed, and the next thing she knew, she, Oliver and Constantine were somewhere ancient.

"Ah well, I've had worse hangovers."

"So what are we supposed to do now?" asked Oliver.

Suddenly, that was the moment Alicia heard Sara's bloodcurdling scream of, "HELP!"

Alicia instantly took off running to where she heard Sara's screams.

"Alicia, no," Constantine called out to her. Alicia ran around, but found herself running in circles.

"This is new," panted Oliver.

"Well, that's why you brought me along," Constantine quipped.

Sara continued to scream and scream for help. Alicia ran in the direction of where she thought she heard the voice, but Constantine stopped Alicia in her tracks.

"Well, I am not just going to stand here!" Alicia said, crossing her arms.

"We need a tour guide," Constantine replied to her smoothly. He knelt down to the floor and pulled out something that looked like a stone and said something again that sounded like a prayer of sorts. Alicia and Ollie watched as the small stone rose and spun around in the air before it halted to a stop, pointing in the direction that they were supposed to go to find Sara's trapped soul. "This way, unless you want to be trapped here for all eternity," he told them.

Alicia nodded, worried about what they were going to find that was keeping Sara's soul locked away, keeping her from being human-like and replacing her with this empty shell. She and Oliver followed Constantine to where the location of Sara's soul was. When they approached the location, Alicia could hear the sounds of distressed moans and groans coming from Sara, which left her even more nervous and sick to her stomach with worry. They walked into a room to find something that looked like a pool of water, Sara struggling to get out. She was putting up quite a fight; that was why Sara was so savage; it was because she was fighting to try and get her soul back from herself, but she could not do it herself. Even one of the well-trained killers and assassins needed help and couldn't do things alone. Alicia let out a sigh and rushed forward towards Sara, hoping that her super strength would be enough to get Sara out of there. However, Sara's soul was also being guarded by what looked like League of Assassins members. No way that they were letting her soul out of that pit, or what looked like the Lazarus Pit. Oliver fired two arrows at each guard and nodded at Alicia, who ran forward towards the pit of water to try and pull Sara's soul out, that part of Sara that made her Sara.

"Come on, Sara, come on fight," Alicia whispered shakily. "Come on, baby. Fight this." She was aware of Oliver coming towards her, hearing Constantine fighting something off. It was clear that both she and Ollie needed to work together on getting Sara's soul out of that pit. "Come on, Sara, you need to fight this!" Alicia had Sara by the arm, trying her hardest with all of her strength to pull her out, but, it seemed as though the waters of the pit were fighting against her powers. It was frustrating Alicia to no end. Why did her powers have to have limitations? Why? Why did she have to be as limited as to what she could do? Oliver grabbed Sara's other arm and they both desperately pulled, trying to pull her out. Alicia could feel her eyes burning with tears of frustration and grief for Sara and everything that had happened to the small blonde. Nearly drowning while on the Queen's Gambit, nearly drowning off the shores of Lian Yu, needing to kill to survive horrors that Alicia didn't even know existed; Sara was the strongest person that she ever knew. It suddenly hit her that she never actually knew Sara that well at all, and Sara didn't really know her. They have both missed so much of each other; Sara had lived five years in hell, while Alicia had lived in Central City with her dream job and got super powers. She let out a huff of a breath, and pulled harder against the tides that were trying to keep Sara's soul inside. Finally, with one more pull just as Constantine counted back from three, Alicia gave one last tug, and Sara's soul was out of the heavy water. Finally, they were out of there, and Alicia had her hands on her knees as she came back to the basement of Oliver's campaign office.

Oliver and Alicia both backed away from Sara's body.

"You're all right," Massie whispered to her sister. Lance, Laurel and Massie all embraced Alicia tightly. "Thank God."

Alicia nodded. "Yeah, yeah I'm all right," she said. Oliver went over and hugged onto Felicity tightly, kissing her head. They all looked down at the unconscious Sara.

"What happened?" Diggle asked.

"What is she, did we?" asked Alicia anxiously.

Suddenly, that was the moment Sara opened her eyes, her blue orbs blinking open. Alicia felt her eyes starting to burn with tears, her hand coming up to her mouth as her jaw dropped open. It worked. It actually worked. It was too good for it all to be true. She watched as Laurel went down to her knees towards her sister.

"Sara," whispered Laurel anxiously.

Alicia sniffled. "Sara," she choked out. She dropped to her knees in front of the strongest girl she had ever known next to Iris Anne West. She grabbed hold of one of Sara's hands, tears making their way down her cheeks. Alicia took Sara's face into her hands and looked into her eyes, along with Laurel. She saw nothing but what was solely Sara staring back at her. She went forward and she and Laurel clung onto the small blonde, along with Captain Lance. Alicia sobbed quietly; she had missed Sara so much.

"I've missed you so much," Alicia sobbed out. Sara hugged Alicia, Laurel and Lance right back.

It was a good hour later that Alicia found herself at Laurel and Thea's apartment with Quentin there. She was sitting on the couch with Sara and Laurel, while Lance sat across from them on another sofa. Sara asked Alicia why she was dressed the way that she was. Alicia proceeded to explain everything that had happened before Sara had died. She explained the particle accelerator, how she had woken from a six-month coma with rapid-cellular abilities and flight and super strength, how her boyfriend, Barry, had super speed and was the Flash, how there were now metahumans; everything that was going on her life, everything that Sara had missed.

"Wow," Sara whispered as she listened to Alicia. Her and Laurel were a good audience, along with Lance. They gasped in all the right places, and hadn't interrupted once as Alicia talked. "That's a lot."

"Yeah, yeah, it is," Alicia said. "So much has happened this past year. I-I've missed you, every day. I mean, I found out that you were the Canary, because your fight with the Mirakuru soldiers had been on the news!"

"Oh my God," Sara groaned. "We were hoping to be on the down-low!"

"Well, you weren't," Alicia said, smiling lightly. She kissed Sara on the cheek gently. "In our next lifetime can one of us be a man?" she teased.

"Well, in high school I did say we were dating, right?" Sara said with a giggle. Oh how Alicia had missed her laugh.

"You're going to stay here for the night?" asked Laurel.

"I think so," Alicia said. "I trust that my boyfriend and my friends can handle whatever is going on in Central City. Before I go to bed tonight, I need to change out of this suit. I love it, but I don't want to sleep in it."

"I can agree," Laurel said. "Thank you, for bringing her home."

Alicia went over and hugged Laurel. "I'd lay down my life for the both of you," she said.

Lance squeezed Alicia's shoulders. "I'll see you tomorrow, honey," he said.

"Goodnight, Quentin," Alicia said with a gentle smile.

The next morning, Alicia found herself pleased to wake up with a text message from Barry telling her that he had successfully captured Doctor Light, but additionally, Cisco had powers that had manifested. Alicia figured that that had been the case when Cisco told them of a nightmare he had had of a past timeline that had been changed by Alicia and Barry. However, she was worried about Cisco. Barry had told her that Cisco hadn't told her of his powers because he had been absolutely terrified. Cisco had said that Eobard Thawne had told him months ago that he had had great plans for Cisco and his abilities. Alicia could only imagine how much that had terrified Cisco. He didn't ask for these powers, no metahuman ever did. Alicia awoke on one of Laurel's couches, groaning.

"I'm feeling hung-over times ten," Alicia groaned out to Sara as Laurel and Thea walked into the room.

"Understandable," Sara said, sitting up.

"I need to go back to Central City. It needs the Angel," Alicia said to Sara.

"I'll see you around?" Sara asked her.

"Yeah," Alicia said. She went over and hugged Thea, Sara and Laurel goodbye before changing into her day clothes, packing away her super suit and giving Laurel back the pajamas that she had been loaned. She flew back to Central City and went straight for her and Barry's apartment. She landed smoothly in the living room, she see Barry there cooking breakfast for them.

"Hey, is Sara all right?" Barry asked her, the smell of an omelet with avocado, American cheese, bell peppers, and sautéed onions greeting her nose, along with Earl Grey tea.

"She's okay. She's just been exhausted and slept through the night. I just wanted to stay with her and explain the past year to her. She's missed a lot," Alicia said.

"Well, I am happy she is okay." Barry nodded and placed the omelet in front of Alicia. "Now eat up. We need to speak to Doctor Light, and find out why Zoom and Desdemona had sent her here. But I am worried about Linda, because Doctor Light had tried killing her last night and she killed the editor at CCPN. Luckily, Iris had managed to shoot Light and her mask came off. Thank God Eddie had given her a gun to protect herself and others when needed."

"Yeah, thank God," Alicia said as she proceeded to eat her omelet.

"I figured after the events of last night you needed to chow down," Barry said.

"Believe it or not I do." Alicia watched as Barry proceeded to eat some scrambled eggs and toast. "I'm just happy to be home with you."

"Wherever you are is home," Barry said with a smile.

A/N:

Okay so next chapter, Barry and Alicia are going to get their asses COMPLETELY handed to them by Zoom and Desdemona; I actually just finished writing it and it is the longest chapter I have written to date, so, be prepared for that. Additionally, I have my YouTube review up for part 2 of the Crisis on Earth-X crossover. I have to say that watching Professor Stein die broke my heart, but I didn't cry, surprisingly. But I also have to say that Oliver and Kara are my new favorite ship, they have more romantic chemistry than Oliver does with Felicity. Even if I am a shipper on Olicity, I do not think that anyone is bold enough to disagree with the fact that Kara and Oliver of Earth-X kissing just brought me fireworks; it was pretty hot.
