Aqua woke up with a start early the next morning. She had to get home before Terra noticed she was gone. Quietly rolling out of bed, she stepped over Larxene and searched the room for something to write on. She didn't want to just disappear, without saying anything. But she didn't want to wake Larxene either. Grabbing a scrap of paper, she started to look around for something to write with. A hand held out a pen next to her, causing her to squeak in fear, though not loud enough to wake her friend. "You must be our visitor." Xigbar smiled, trying his best to not terrify the girl even more. She nodded and put her finger to her lips, sternly trying to keep him quiet. Aqua continued to scribble the last few lines of the letter and handed it to him. "Make sure she gets this, ok? I have to leave..." She pushes past him hurriedly, remembering Larxene saying those strange things about not being able to leave. She had to get out of there before anyone stopped her. Luckily, no one did, and she sped home, hoping to God that she didn't miss the time for the morning call.

Terra waited in silence in Aqua's empty apartment making sure to lock the door behind him after he had entered, though, as usual, he refused to remove his shoes. He sat idly on the couch, staring angrily at the cellphone in his lap. No missed calls, no texts, no voicemails. Where could she have gone? He shook his head in disbelief and continued to wait.

Aqua fumbled to get inside the apartment, dropping her keys once before trying again and finally opening the door. She closed it behind her and felt for her phone in her pockets. Where was it? She felt nothing. Had she lost it at the Circus? Turning the corner, she half-gasped and stopped dead in her tracks. Her blood turned to ice. Terra was already here.

Terra offered a warm smile. "Well don't you look flustered." He spoke gently, not moving from his seat. "I….I really could have sworn—now correct me if I'm wrong, here, but I was pretty sure the phone call rule was still a thing." He raised his eyebrows a little, tossing a hand lazily in the air. "But what do I know, right?" His tone slowly became more serious, letting his phone clatter to the coffee-table before him. "Nothing last night, Nothing this morning, either. Lo and behold," He sat up. "Place is empty. You tell me one thing, and you go and do another, you know? Do you know how many times I've called you?" He asked, narrowing his eyes a little. "So?" He stated, rising to his feet. "Where'd you go?" Not giving her a chance to respond, he took another step toward her and held out his hand. "Give me your phone."

Aqua shuffled backwards holding up her hands, "T-Terra I can explain... W-well not about my phone... I don't have it... I lost it. I would have called you sooner, you know that. I just... Lost it and had to wait until I got here to c-call." This wasn't good. Nothing she said now could really save her. He was already angry, there was no reasoning with him now. She shut her mouth tightly and put her head down, bracing herself for what was coming.
