Say it Ain't So
KOU.
Sagi blushed and shut her eyes. Slowly, she moved to the door and unlocked it. She did not bother opening the door as she moved to the bed and sat down. She moved her pillow, up like a mini wall as the door opened.
Seiya looked at her as Sagi stopped breathing.
"Are you okay?"
"Huh?"
"I saw you fall."
"Oh… hai. I'm fine."
Sagi took out a book and read through it. It was a math book.
Seiya frowned a bit as she shut the door behind her. She soothed her own hair as she stood in the middle of the room, watching her.
Sagi blushed as she looked up at her. She frowned as she saw the senior walked up to her.
"Nani-"
"Your pride will hurt you."
"Leave me-"
"No."
Sagi gasped as she was pulled up and flinched, dropping the math book on the mat as she flinched on her back.
"Where are you hurting?"
"Don't-"
"Where? Tell me."
Sagi blushed, trembling as Seiya took her fists, watching her body, also seeing her blush. She turned her around and noticed scratches on her thighs and fists. She trailed her finger near the scars.
"Does it hurt?" She whispered.
"Iie."
The sophomore breathed deeply as the senior turned her around and held her waist. She looked at her waist and noticed the bleeding through the fists. Slowly, she pressured her fingers and palms to open. She took it up to her face.
"Nani-" Sagi flushed hard, deep red as Seiya softly blew air on the wounds of her skin. The sophomore's face went beet red as the senior looked at her and softly kept cooling her skin.
The cool air brushed on the stings, soothing it with tenderness. The blonde was not sure what to do, except her heart was pounding hard. She watched the black haired beauty lingering her lips over her wounds as she continued on. For a while, nothing was said as their eyes were locked.
Seiya blushed as she moved back and held her hands.
"These have to be cleaned now."
She gently pulled the sophomore into the bathroom, pulled out her first aid kit and looked at her, placing the box down. Sagi gasped as she was lifted on her waist and placed on the sink, feeling the wounds on her skin below due to those rough branches. Her hands were moved to the sink as the water ran.
"This will sting. But it has to be cleaned."
"Hai."
Sagi automatically replied and flinched as Seiya suddenly cleaned her wounds. Once the dirt was out it was wrapped in small Band-Aids.
The senior frowned, angry at the fucking cat who bit her. She noticed scratches on her legs, trailing up her skirt.
"Sagi, I need to clean those as well."
"Nani…"
"There. It will get infected… May I…?"
Sagi watched her as she said nothing for a while, due to the intensity of her stare. But then she breathed and shut her eyes.
"Hai."
Seiya took several cotton balls and placed some peroxide on her knee caps, making her hiss a bit.
"You know about this?"
"Playing sports. You get injured a lot. Dance too."
"Ah."
Sagi sighed, admiring. She blushed as the senior slowly looked at her inner thighs, seeing deep dashes of cuts up her skirt. She must be stinging there. She hesitated to ask, but did not want any infection to take effect.
"May I?" She softly whispered, barely heard.
The sophomore looked at her as she slowly, hesitantly, parted her legs. Seiya slowly lifted up her skirt a bit, and saw the scars moving up to the mid-section of her inner thigh. She did not dare move the skirt any higher. Seiya blushed as she held her breath and went to heal at work.
Sagi breathed deeply, flushed, as the saturated cotton ball was placed on her cuts. She shut her eyes at the discomfort.
"Where is the cat?"
Sagi looked at her as Seiya concentrated on her thighs.
"Why?"
"I noticed he was not with you. Wonder what you did with him."
"I let him go."
"Good."
Sagi shut her eyes as Seiya looked at her.
"Nani?"
"Nothing."
The senior frowned and continued to clean her, but she watched her eyes periodically.
"You know I could tell if someone is hiding something."
"What do you want, Kou San?"
Sagi frowned and gasped as the cotton ball pressed on her scar on her creamy thigh. She released a puff of air as Seiya stared at her.
The things the black haired beauty was thinking of would make this sophomore nervous.
"To tell me the truth."
The sophomore pouted to herself as she crossed her arms.
"Hmph."
"No secrets between us, Odango."
"Ne. Don't know what you are talking about…"
"Where is the cat?"
"Safe."
The senior grinned as she looked down and saw the bloodied cotton balls. She placed it in the trash.
"I will take that, it's enough, for now."
The sophomore looked at her, breathing as she blushed.
Seiya sighed and released her skirt, relieved that she did not have to continue looking and feeling her inner thighs, especially with the bad things that were going through her mind.
"Kou San…"
Sagi frowned as the black haired senior breathed, keeping her eyes down to the floor, and standing back a bit as she moved her eyes up to hers.
"You should probably rest now." The senior whispered.
"Hai."
Sagi slipped down, unintentionally brushing down the senior's body, making her breathe deep. The sophomore blushed as she moved to the side and walked out the bathroom. Apprehension throughout her body, she moved towards the bed. The door shut tight behind her.
Sagi swiftly moved to the covers, shut the lights off, even though it was still early afternoon, and went to remain still. The cat purred and nuzzled to her chest.
Meanwhile, in the bathroom, the senior gnarled her fingers into the edge of the sink, breathing deep. She frowned and kept her breath steady.
Seiya stared at her reflection before she shut her eyes.
She frowned, not helping with what she was feeling now. The senior turned and sat up on the sink counter as she leaned against the mirror, smoothed her hand down her abs and kept it there, releasing a soft breath. She needed to go out with Haruka and the others somehow.
Anything, because she felt really fucked up crazy now…
The cat meowed softly and purred.
Sagi breathed as she felt a rush of heat inside and around her as she blushed hard, not understanding what she was feeling, thinking of the senior's lips blowing on her skin, remaining closer to her, despite her irritation of questioning, only to go back to her hands cleaning on the inside of her thighs. She felt nerves, butterflies in her belly. Not knowing what to do… she remained still as Rhett Butler moved up on her chest and purred. Softly, Sagi moved the cover over their heads, letting some air come in so the feral cat may breathe.
Seiya was getting ready and frowned, seeing dirt and black hairs in the bathtub. It's like… She stared and frowned.
"The fuck...?" She whispered in disbelief.
Sagi managed to get the cat to remain still as the bathroom door opened. She covered herself with the cat as she remained still. Her roommate looked around the room and in the closet.
"Sagi, the bathtub is-."
"Daijabou." She forgot as the cat purred.
The senior eyes narrowed as she looked at the sophomore under the covers.
"Nani, what are you doing-?"
"Sleeping."
"So early-?"
"Hai."
"Doishte-?"
"No reason."
Sagi held her breath as she felt the senior at her bed.
"What are you hiding-?" Her voice was insistent.
"Nothing."
"Odango, what did I say about secrets between us?"
"That there's none."
"And-"
"I have a right to mine."
"Meow." The cat purred as Sagi gasped and cursed in a whisper, hoping she would not have the covers lifted off of her.
FUCK!
She gasped as Seiya frowned and squinted her eyes and gasped.
"Nani-NANI?! WHAT-?!"
Sagi cursed as the cat hissed at the senior in a menacing manner, causing the senior to step back a few, and then meowed and nuzzled the sophomore's chest. The black haired beauty gawked in disbelief.
"Sagi, what the FUCK-?!" Seiya squeaked in disbelief.
"You tell anyone, I will kill you." The blonde beauty snarled in a warning.
"Why is it here with us?!"
"He was lonely."
"Oh Goddess, Sagi, he is not allowed to be here!"
"Go ahead and tell then." Sagi hissed as she pulled the covers back over them. Luckily the cat was too tired to move.
"I'm not going to tell." Seiya whispered.
Sagi looked at her in shock as the senior glared at her a bit.
"I know you think low of me, but I am not like that. I just don't want him to go biting everyone he sees."
The sophomore breathed as the senior moved away.
"I need to clean the bathroom and get ready."
"Iie. Kou San, I will clean it-."
"It's fine."
"He is my responsibility, I will clean the mess. I did not mean to leave it there."
Seiya moved into the bathroom and Sagi swiftly got up and flinched as she knelt down to the floor. The cat continued to purred and meowed at her.
"Yurenkasykuya San, it does not matter to me. I will clean it, you can continue to do whatever-daijabou-?"
"I'm fine. Continue getting ready, I will take care of it."
"Why are you on the floor-?"
"Because I tripped-."
"You do that a lot-."
"I could give a shit, Kou San."
The cat meowed in concern as he jumped off the bed and moved to Sagi, licking her face as he nuzzled her.
"Rhett Butler Chan, go back to bed." She tenderly whispered as pain throbbed on her lower back like sharp spasms. She leaned on the bed and took the cat to her chest.
"Why are you flinching?"
"No reason-."
"You hurt your back, didn't you?"
"Iie, I'm fine-."
"No you are not."
"Kou San-"
"Drop him. Now."
"Don't tell me what to do-."
"Don't contradict me. Drop him or I will take him from you." Seiya hissed in anger and glared at her.
Sagi glared as she placed the cat on the bed. They stood at a stand-off in hostility.
"Sumimasen, how dare you-?!"
The sophomore gasped as she was carried by the senior and placed on the bed.
"What the fuck-?!"
"Turn around now. The cat is fine, you are not."
Sagi flinched again and hissed as she reluctantly turned and laid down. She yelped as a hand was placed on her lower back.
"Did you go to the nurse?"
"I'm fine-"
"Sagi San, I swear to Goddess-"
"Se-Kou San, I am fine. Seriously." She struggled in her voice as she was sore, feeling the pressure.
"You literally fell on Beryl. That was a hard fall that you and this cat had. Of course you are not fine."
"I'm fine. I just want to lie down."
"Fuck it. I'm staying in."
"Nani? Kou, don't cancel your plans on account of me."
"It's not for your benefit."
Sagi flinched at her words and in anger moved away from her.
"Then don't stay."
"No, you don't tell me what to do. I'm staying. This is my room too."
"Fine. Then we will leave."
"You are not going anywhere unless it's to the nurse."
"You can't tell me what to do."
The cat hissed at Seiya as she cursed. Sagi soothed the cat, who nuzzled her and meowed into a purr.
"You are irritating him."
"I'm irritating him? How funny."
"He's tired. I'm tired."
"Go to the nurse, I mean it."
"I will."
Sagi pursed her lips as the cat started to fall asleep. Seiya remained near her bed, watching her.
"S-Kou San. Seriously, I'm fine."
"I am choosing to stay. I'm fine as well."
Sagi gave up as she laid her head down and shut her eyes.
"Sagi San, reason with me. I won't say a word about the cat, but you could have an injury if you don't go to the nurse."
"I'll go tomorrow." She gave up in a sigh.
Seiya pursed her lips and shut her eyes.
"Fine. But scoot over."
Sagi looked at her wide eyed.
"You are honesly not considering-"
"Oh yes I am, if something happens to you it will be on my head. Scoot over."
With defeat, the sophomore gave in, moving the cat to her as she nuzzled it. She felt Seiya move behind her and held her, soothing her lower back, feeling it tender.
The senior breathed and sighed.
"Your pride will kill you if you won't let others in to help you when you are in trouble."
"I'm not in trouble."
"You were today. You fell, with the cat, from a high, dangerous tree that you shouldn't have climbed up on. Not to mention you denied my help when I thought of bringing you down, or Haruka's help. Stubbornly, you stayed on that unstable branch."
Sagi was quiet as she felt her hand continued soothing her lower back.
"You are still in trouble for bringing that cat inside here. Even though I won't say anything, you brought trouble here."
The sophomore breathed as she turned her head a bit to look at her.
"Would you have brought Rhett Butler down with me?"
"I would have brought you down, no matter how stubborn you are, Odango, which is what you are."
Sagi breathed as she managed to look at Seiya, turning her torso to lock eyes with her. Seiya watched her eyes as she lost her breath.
"Me and Rhett Butler? Or… Just me?"
The senior pursed her lips.
"I thought so." Sagi whispered with a soft smile. Seiya blushed hard in disbelief as she turned back to the cat and embraced her.
"Did you seriously name him Rhett Butler?"
"Hai. Do you have a problem with that?"
Seiya breathed and frowned as Sagi smiled, but it wiped up as the senior slowly soothed her as she gasped. A smirk followed behind her.
Early Evening
The seniors were dressed up and ready to go. They went to Seiya's door and knocked. Opening it slowly, they saw her still in her school uniform, laying down next to the girl, who was covered.
What the fuck? Were they sleeping?
What were they doing together? Again? They were so confused, but figured there was a good reason.
"Seiya, nani, the fuck, we gotta go." Haruka chanted.
"I'm staying in."
"Iie? You were the one who told us you wanted to go out? What the fuck?" Yaten shouted.
"Shh." Seiya whispered.
"Is she sleeping now? How long has she been out?" Michiru asked in disbelief as Taiki frowned.
"Is she okay, Seiya?" The brunette inquired as her best friend looked at her and nodded.
"Hai. She's been out of it since the middle of the afternoon." Literally, Seiya wanted to shout out, hesitant to let them know of the other unwanted visitor, though she so wanted to tell them!
Maybe they will knock sense into this insane sophomore, like she was insane for allowing it to go further.
They both are insane enough to drive the other mad. Seiya was sure she was going to grow grey hairs before she graduated with this one, snarling at the thought.
Most likely the sophomore would chuckle at the thought at her with her sinister grin, along with that fucking cat.
Goddess, hopefully he is not here that long!
"It's getting dark. Seiya, get ready. We are running late."
"I'm not going."
"The fuck you are not. What is wrong with you?" Haruka asked as she looked at Sagi, who turned to face Seiya.
"You can leave. We are fine."
We? The girls looked at her like she'd grown a third head, unknowing of their third roommate, who woke up and was getting agitated being under the warm covers.
"I am not leaving. Odango." Seiya sternly spoke as the sophomore frowned and grew agitated by the moment with this nosy senior.
"What is that?!" Yaten gasped loudly and frowned as she saw the covers move up under Sagi's arms. A noise, more like a purr, moved underneath the covers.
"Nani?!" Taiki frowned as she leaned closer with the others.
"Don't- I am fine." Sagi begged in a whisper.
"What are you guys doing?!" Michiru whispered in disbelief and excitement as they looked at Seiya and Sagi, who went wide eyed, one in shock, the other in confusion.
"It is nothing like that, close the door though!" The senior blushed hard grew nervous in disbelief at her best friends' assumptions.
She was adventurous with people in bed, but she was not a freak like that, especially with this cold ass sophomore who was straight as a narrow that she knew of, and a fucking furry demon within those covers!
The sophomore was confused at the expression on the seniors' faces, wondering on what the exchange between the five best friends was about that was causing this senior to be nervous by their looks.
Haruka arched an eyebrow, a smile attempting to break out of her lips. Michiru stared at Seiya as she shook her head and smirked. Sagi looked at the senior next to her in confusion, attempting to hold the furball still under the covers, and then saw Taiki and Yaten kept their eyes on the moving mass on Sagi's belly, wondering if Seiya was actually… a bit of a freak… after all.
She was a bit promiscuous and lonely lately...
But then again… this sophomore looked oblivious, otherwise she would have had different reactions, and she was not gay… so maybe Seiya was telling the truth and not doing stuff...
"Close the door!" The black haired senior whispered.
"Doishte?" Haruka asked.
"Just fucking do it." Seiya pleaded in frustration. The sandy blonde stared at her as she eventually shut the door behind her.
"Meow." The cat purred.
"OKAY, WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?!" Yaten hissed, pointing at the small bump over Sagi's stomach.
"Shh. Rhett Butler" Sagi whispered as she soothed the bump.
"Please- OH GODDESS- PLEASE TELL ME YOU DID NOT!" Taiki hissed.
"SHH! You are scaring him!" Sagi hissed.
"Scaring who- WAIT-NANI?! FUCK NO-!" Haruka hissed.
"Shut up!" Sagi hissed as the cat started to get irritated.
"DOISHTE?! WHAT THE FUCK WERE YOU GUYS THINKING?!" Michiru hissed in fear.
Seiya got up and moved to the door to lock it. The girls moved to the other side as the cat moved out of the covers and laid on Sagi's chest.
"Meow!" The big fat ugly menacing feral cat hissed in irritation.
"Shh. Rhett Butler Chan. Daijabou." She gave the cat, who was now clean, multiple kisses.
"Did you actually name him?" Taiki whispered in fear.
The cat started to hiss at the girls, even Seiya, as they tried to near Sagi in disbelief.
"Okay, I was just in the bed with you now, you cannot be Rhett Butler fucking hissing at me!" Seiya spoke to the cat in irritation.
"You are scaring him." Sagi sighed.
"We are scaring him?!" Haruka asked in disbelief.
"He is not allowed here." Taiki pursed her lips.
"I don't care." Sagi hissed at her.
"Stop being so mean!" Yaten hissed at her.
"Stop being mean to Rhett Butler!" She hissed back as the light haired senior looked at her in disbelief.
"We are mean to him-nani-you are crazy." She spoke in disbelief.
"Nani-this is-I don't care what the reason is, they are going to catch him eventually. Beryl is currently hunting for the both of you as we speak." Michiru whispered.
Sagi looked at her with concern in her eyes as she hugged the cat tighter, who purred and licked her cheek, nuzzling into her chest. She said nothing as she soothed her.
"Kou San, just go with your friends. Rhett Butler and I will be fine." She whispered.
Seiya looked at her and pursed her lips, watching her spirit a bit dim as she looked at the cat, who looked like a happy menacing fur ball. She did not like that Sagi was in pain.
"I'm staying in. Gomen Nasai guys."
Haruka stared at her as the others arched their eyebrows. They looked at the sophomore and sat down on Seiya's bed, who eventually joined them.
"Fine. We will stay in too."
"You don't have to, Kou San. None of you do. We are fine." Sagi forced herself to speak as she wanted no one's help.
"Odango, seriously-OMG Shut UP!" She ended up snarling at Rhett Butler, who hissed menacingly at her and the girls, until Sagi shushed her and glare at the senior.
"The both of you. Let me think." Seiya grew agitated as she paced around the room.
"Don't tell him to be quiet." Sagi whispered in anger.
"No, Odango… you don't tell me what to say or do! I am your Sempai, number one. Number two, I am being nice, extremely nice, to the both of you, even though he, and possibly, you, don't deserve it. This has nothing to do with you, or me, who have every right to be in this room. He is another story!"
"Yeah Koneko, we did not agree on an additional roommate." Haruka crossed her arms.
"We?! Who said this was your room?! Any of you?!" Sagi hissed at her.
"Excuse me…?" The sandy blonde whispered in disbelief. The seniors stared at her in disbelief.
What was up with this sophomore?! Never have any of their juniors back talk them. Ever…
"Odango, they are my best friends, and have every right to be here."
"Who says?" She blurted complacently as she soothed Rhett Butler, who seemed to be meowing in laughter like a demon, making Yaten frown.
"Um… I say it is so." Seiya smiled and patronized her, though her eyes were throwing knives at the blonde.
"Oh really, in that case, Rhett Butler has every right to be here then." She smiled back at her in a patronizing manner. Her eyes steeled, ready for battle.
"Technically he is not allowed here! We are humans! He is an animal! A dangerous one at that!"
"Really?! If he has to leave, they have to leave."
"Oh my goddess, seriously, Princessu?!" Michiru shouted as she placed her hands on her hips.
"Her Majesty runs the world, didn't you know?" Taiki breathed as she looked at her, holding her tongue from going further. Sagi glared at them. Yaten was cracking up hard in disbelief as Haruka stared at her in wonder. Michiru covered her mouth.
Seiya looked at her like she had grown a third head.
Forget all of them being insane, or herself for that matter.
She was a lunatic.
"Are you threatening my best friends over it?!"
"You are threatening my cat over them, and he is my best friend, so yes, I am!" Sagi hissed.
"Odango, you are really something, you just met him today. Not to mention he bit you and had you injured, multiple times." Seiya was amused.
"So have you guys." The sophomore blurted as she paused. The black haired beauty froze.
"That is not fair." Seiya whispered in anger, pain and disbelief as the others went silent. Sagi sighed and rolled her eyes.
"Whatever. I don't care. Right now, all I care about is him. And Stop calling me that! I have my name. And he is not at fault, that tree branch was, along with that stupid Beryl San, he is only a baby, and he doesn't know any better."
"Sure you don't care." Seiya said as she breathed.
Apparently, she still hated them, even if she denied it.
"Look at that fucker laughing at us!" Yaten snarled in disbelief as Rhett Butler hacked with his bare teeth, it did look like he was laughing from the sophomore's arms, his red yellow yes in glee.
"Oh, that is frightening." Michiru whispered in disgust. Taiki glared at the cat in disbelief. Seiya gawked in anger at it as Haruka frowned.
"What the fuck?!" They whispered.
"Odango… is he possessed?!"
"No he is not possessed. And Stop calling me names, all of you, stop it!"
"What, Odango? Odango-Odango-Odango-Odango-!"
"Stop it! Stop it-stop it- stop it-stop it- stop it-!"
"Seiya, just-" Taiki shook her head as her best friend breathed in and held the back of her head as she stared at the sophomore.
"The same goes for you!" Sagi sneered.
"What, your Majesty? You want to rule us now, why shouldn't we bow to you?" Taiki sneered at her.
"Stop being mean, Sweetheart, and we won't." Yaten smiled.
"Stop it!"
"Or you will what, Princessu, execute us?" Michiru giggled as she stared at her.
"Probably sick her tiger on us, Koneko, you better be careful with attacking people, it's not nice." Haruka chanted.
"I am not attacking you, liars!"
"Odango, you are."
"Shut up!"
"No, I won't."
"Then shut up!"
"Um, I thought I said I won't."
Rhett Butler hissed at Seiya as she glared at it. Sagi sighed and kissed its forehead as it nuzzled her, even though it kept glaring at the senior in hatred.
"There, there. Shush. I love you so much." She cooed the feral cat in tenderness, making the seniors frown at her in disbelief, who meowed to her, licking her face.
"You both deserve each other. I really should call Lady San."
"Go ahead, Kou San. But know there will be repercussions."
Sagi lingered on the cat as she stared up at them in a calm, complacent manner.
Too calm.
"Go ahead." She said lightly, as if she was speaking to a baby in a light voice.
"You got some nerves, Odango. You really do." Seiya whispered in disbelief.
But, they will not dare say anything, even though they SO wanted to. Not knowing the sophomore intentions, except that she was intently serious about keeping the cat, knowing that small teen, she might end up getting Lady San to go after them for no apparent reason later on. They did not know why, but that is what she felt.
Sagi thought exactly that, even though it was never said out loud. She loved this cat too much.
The others must have felt the short end of the stick, as they felt threatened as well. Deciding they lost this battle, they intend on coming into full fruition with the outcome of their personal war.
(())_(())
After a while, the feral cat fell asleep. Sagi sighed and laid her down, covering her up.
Seiya sat down across the room and breathed. The other girls grew agitated as the sophomore felt her stare and turned to face her.
"What are you looking at?"
"Rule number one."
"I don't follow rules."
"If it plans to be here, Odango, and you want to keep it, you will follow everything I say. And I don't care what Lady San says. I am your Sempai, and you need to respect me, as well as the rest of us, who are also your Sempai."
"I don't see you respecting me, any of you, SAMAS."
"No need to patronize us. Rule number one Odango, you are to be with him at all times. No babysitting from me, or any of us. If I catch him alone in the room while you are gone, even if you are showering or in the toilet, he is gone."
"Don't worry, he won't be out of my sight. Not that I have to ask you for permission. I plan on caring for him."
"That's good. We agree then. Rule number two-"
"You got some nerve Kou San…"
"Under no circumstance is he to come to my side of the room. If he does, he is DEAD."
"You better not do anything to him Kou San!"
"He better not give me a reason to catch him in the act."
"Fine."
"Rule number three, if he pees, shits, or vomits, and his feces is not cleaned up and I have to see it or smell it, I don't care what happens to me by your threat, I am bringing Lady San inside this mess, and she will personally see him out. I swear it."
"He won't do that."
"If it does, Lady San will deal with him, not me, Lady San. I swear it Odango."
"Fine."
"I am glad we are in agreement."
"We will stay out of your sight, you stay out of ours, and everything will be peachy." Sagi replied.
"Really?"
"Yes, all of you stay on your side of the room, we will be fine."
"We are on my side of the room."
"Really?"
"Really."
"Is that why you got into my bed the past couple of times?"
Seiya blushed beet red as the others smirked and looked at their best friend. Sagi arched her eyebrows as the cat meowed and pawed at her to give him attention.
"I was helping you." The senior glared at the cat, annoyed as it glared right back at her, hissing.
It was like he was jealous. The nerve of that furry demon!
"I didn't need your help."
"You didn't complain. And you got into my bed."
Haruka and Yaten busted out laughing hard as Michiru and Taiki giggled. Seiya smirked as she narrowed her eyes, determined as Sagi blushed hard and then grew complacent.
"What choice do I have? You refused to leave mine."
"You didn't stop me."
"Well, I am stopping you now. No more crawling in my bed. My back is fine. Sarah San is off my back. Rhett Butler thanks you and we will be fine without you."
"Rhett Butler thanked me-I never offered to help him, Odango. Speaking of which, where is your thank you?"
"He already thanked you. That is enough for me."
"You are something else."
"Just saying."
"Just saying."
The girls looked at her in disbelief as she ignored them. Finally, there was silence. The cat glared at them but managed to remain quiet as Sagi soothed him.
"Okay… we will leave now. Seiya if you change your mind in the next twenty minutes, let us know. We might go after all."
"I will see how… this goes..."
"Alright." Haruka and the others popped their best friend a kiss on the lips, causing Sagi to frown briefly in confusion but focused on the pawing cat, ignoring the budding feeling inside her gut.
She smiled and nuzzled the feline, who purred into her as he hissed at the leaving girls, then going back to meowing at his owner.
"Fucking weird, Sweetheart, seriously." Yaten whispered as she opened the door. Sagi swiftly covered themselves as she glared at them. Michiru smirked.
"This is going to be interesting, Princessu." The aqua teen looked at her and shook her head.
"Don't call me that."
"Let's see how long this is kept up, your Majesty." Taiki spoke as she stared at the sophomore while she walked out.
"Neko and Koneko Chan will have a good sleep tonight." Haruka chanted and chuckled as she left.
"Stop calling me that!"
"Stop calling me that." Haruka mimicked her as the girls giggled. She smirked at the sophomore. Sagi glared at her and flicked her off, causing them to gasp.
"Hey! No need for that Odango." Seiya chastised.
"Why not? Serves them right. Serves you right." The sophomore grumbled.
"Unbelievable." The sandy blonde whispered in amusement, winking as she shut the door behind her.
"Go to bed Odango."
"Don't tell me what to do!" The sophomore breathed, though she was getting tired along the cat, who seemed to yawn and stretch on her body.
"Actually, I am going out. Do not let him come to my side of the bed."
"I will clean the bathtub."
"Ah -ah! Nah-na-na-na-na-NO! That means if you clean it, you have to leave him alone here on your bed."
"But he is on my side of the room."
"I will clean it up. You stay with your boyfriend."
"Shut up."
"Nah, Odango. Go to bed." She blew a kiss as she entered the bathroom and started to clean.
She was irritated by those girls, but it's not really because of the past, even though she is extremely uncomfortable with them. It was because they most likely want to remove the cat from her. That angered her. She found a pet she loved, and it broke her heart that they would treat him like this.
Sagi breathed, attempted to be angry at the senior in the bathroom as she heard her move in the bathroom, but she blushed hard. She breathed as she stared down at Rhett Butler.
Apparently, he was calm now that the others have left and lingered on Sagi in a zen-like state. She smiled and kissed his nose. He meowed with affection.
Seiya peaked through the threshold in silence as she stared at Sagi. It was only at rare times like these that she got to see those expressions on her face. Even when she is with Elsie, Miyu, Siren, or even Larxeen and Xion, she would laugh with them and smile at them, but it was never fully open as it was with that cat. In a small sense… really small sense… she was somewhat complacent that Sagi found some happiness. She loved the cat so much. That cat loved her too. He looked peaceful, happy, and at home.
This… was going to be a challenge.
Later that night, Seiya managed to catch her friends in time to wait for her. The bathtub was clean again. Sagi soothed Rhett Butler, who was knocked out with her massage and purred in his sleep. She was relieved.
Seiya moved into the bathroom.
"Thank you Goddess." She mouthed as she thought about Rhett Butler sleeping.
Damn Cat. Why can't he be like this the whole time? She shook it off and got ready.
Sagi breathed as she saw her come out. She was in light jeans and a dark sweater with boots. She wore earrings and her pleather jacket. This time, even though she wore make up, unlike her dark ruby lipstick last time, she kept her lips glossy pink and did shadows on her eyes.
She looked beautiful.
As always, Sagi pursed her lips and looked at the cat. She kept her eyes down.
Seiya put some oil perfume of rose scents, which smelled sweet. She briefly looked at the sophomore through her peripheral vision, and noticed her staring off towards the cat. It was like she was looking at Rhett Butler, but she had a million thoughts running through her mind. Her hair remained up in a soft bun.
She briefly noticed her cheeks tinted pink a bit. It made her very curious. But nothing came to her mind to what it was. She wondered what she was thinking.
This girl sleeps. A lot. There were so many times she found her in bed. It was like she was always tired. The only time she steps out was to go to class, and if she steps out of school, it was briefly because she was forced out by Siren, Larxeen or Elsie. It's like she wanted to be at home. Homesick…
Seiya felt there was an outgoing person her roommate. She did not know why, but that is what she felt inside her gut. But she found no proof of her excitement to explore life with friends, so she disregarded it. Going back to the bathroom and looking at herself once more, she smiled at her reflection and left to go out.
Sagi looked up and briefly looked down. It felt awkward to bid goodnight. She hated their fight. So she said nothing.
Her heart softly pounded a bit.
The black haired beauty briefly paused and looked behind her. She wanted to say goodnight, but figuring the sophomore might glare at her, also the cat was at peace, so she said nothing and left. The door grew shut.
The blonde beauty released air from her lungs, like she was holding her breath.
Seiya remained outside, leaning against their door as she stared off. She kept her hand on the doorknob, feeling her heart beat a bit. She saw Haruka in a jean jacket with her hair up, just like hers. She wore earrings, but long skinny jeans and a light sweater.
"Is uh… everything okay?"
"Nani? Oh… hai… believe it or not."
"Good… Ready?
"Hai. Let's go."
They held hands as they moved ahead. The others joined them as they excitedly left downstairs.
Immediately, her heart grew weak, which made her exhausted. At first, she grew startled with fear, since it's been a while since her heart acted up, but she looked at Rhett Butler, hearing him softly purr in his sleep, and focused on him. She managed to ease out of her stress.
For now.
