Hey all! Here's the fourteenth chapter just like a promised! This one is a loooonnngggg one! I basically combined two chapters into one because of how late the 13th chapter was put out! Don't worry, just because it's the end of the Bayverse movie doesn't mean it's the end of this Arc just yet! After the next chapter, I'm going to have a few more tricks up my sleeve for this Arc. Maybe even leave a few you breathless? Hmm? As always, thank you for reviewing and reading this store - it truly means a lot to me to read your reviews. If you all want me to reply to you let me know! I usually just read them, cry tears of joy, and continue to write! So let me know! :) I appreciate you all! Thank you to Bee4Ever for editing this chapter, she's beautiful let's be real here! Send her your love and light guys! And as always,

Enjoy~

"My Master," Red optics glowed against a softly illuminated darkness. "We have succeeded in offlining the last living Prime."

"Indeed you have Megatron." A rough voice answered back. "But what of the boy? And this girl – they are in the way of completing my plan." An elderly 'bot grumbled from his wired throne.

"They are both being hunted down as we speak master. Starscream and Soundwave both have a visual on the pathetic humans. But the girl, my liege, the girl is useful to us. Her body is undergoing the unseen changes as we speak to creating a better future for all Decepticons out there." Megatron chuckled.

"Very well, let us see just how useful she will be." The Fallen mumbled.

"In due time, master. All in due time." Megatron bowed before backing out of the room.

As soon as he was out of sight of his master, his footsteps became heavy as he stomped to an exit port. I won't let this plan go up in flames because of that stupid boy and his Autobot pets. Megatron glowered as he hissed and transformed, taking off into space. Earth – I am coming – prepare to meet your demise.

As we stepped up to a small temple engraved into the side of a small mountain of rock, I gasped at just how large the temple actually was. The doors are easily one hundred times my height. I thought incredibly as I walked up to the enormous entryway. A cool breeze flittered past and I welcomed the cold. The desert was definitely as heated as the explorers and documentaries told us.

"Do you guys see the size of this?" Simmons gasped as he ran around looking for another entry to a different room.

"Spectacular." Skids remarked.

"Its here somewhere guys." Sam reminded us as he stepped into the room.

We all began the search – although there wasn't a vast area we needed to search. It was an unfurnished four-walled room, with hieroglyphics from the floor, all the way past bee's head.

"Yeah and why is that? Because I don't know if anyone else got this impression but we're trusting grandpa blackbird – who doesn't even know what planet we're on!" Leo growled.

I silenced him with a look so deadly it'd kill, "Shut up and look."

"You know in that old blackbird's defense – this is the biggest doorway I've ever seen." Simmons patted the side of the large door.

Minutes passed, ten minutes passed, soon an hour had passed and we had no luck. I looked back at Sam with a fallen face, and he looked back at me, the hope started to fade from his eyes.

"It is over." Leo spit, getting in Sam's face.

"No, it's not." Sam equally responded with venom.

"Leo why can't you just have some faith?" I snapped at him.

"Why the hell are we still listening to your little punk ass? I mean, what've you ever done for us except ding my rim?" Mudflap groaned, huffing and puffing around.

"Killed Megatron – how about that?!" Skids defended.

"Well he didn't get the job done cause big ass Megatron is back an-"

"Are you scared?" Skids retorted.

"Scared?! Scared of your ugly face!" Mudflap screamed as the twins began fighting.

Punches and kicks flew as the two battled out their frustration. For us humans however, it was survive or be squashed. Everyone dashed around the Autobot's feet until Bee finally grabbed a hold of the two twins and smashed their heads together.

"Oh come on Bumblebee!" Skids groaned.

Bee mumbled something in what I assumed was Cybertonian to the twins and they gasped and looked at Bee.

"So rude!" They both yelled.

Their language mesmerized me; the sounds of their language were like nothing I had ever heard before. I wanted to be able to fluently speak in Cybertonian just so I could hear the language some more. Bee, who still had a hold of the two twins, threw them against the wall and walked away. I watched as Bee stood outside at his post again, his arms crossed and his gaze remained on the scenery before him.

"Delyia! Guys! Look! Look at these symbols – Bee blast it!" Sam was practically in hysterics.

Bee came up, inspecting the twisted limbs with curiosity. He pulled his gun (well transformed his arm) and shot at the wall – it immediately crumbling to pieces. My heart leapt to my throat as the air flew out from the small cave we just punched through. Hesitantly, Sam and I walked towards the opening to look inside, shining our flashlight in we could see the faces of deteriorating Primes from the distant past. Breathless, I looked to Sam with wide eyes, and he looked back to me – we couldn't believe that he was right. I felt a thundering in my chest as my mind began to race – we could bring him back.

"S-Sam." I croaked out his name.

He merely nodded and helped me step through into the abyss. Our flashlights the only source of light we searched the small room for a moment before both our lights landed on the center of the room. There before us laid what we believed to be the Matrix of Leadership – the key and only hope to Optimus' revival. Sam touched my shoulder, motioning me to pick it up but I shook my head.

"N-No, this is something you need to do Sam. You are the one chosen to do this." I gave him a soft smile, and he went to pick up the Matrix.

Mikaela came in and laid a gentle hand on his shoulder as Sam shakily held the Matrix. This is it, we can bring him ba-, my thoughts slowly crumbled down into a small pile of glittering ash. The Matrix laid before us – unusable. I felt the tears spring forth as all the hope - that had been restored not moments ago – fled from my body.

"There's – There's nothing left." I heard myself softly whisper to no one.

"No no no… No!" Sam bellowed as he clutched onto the ash.

Mikaela clutched onto his shoulder as he cried into her.

"I'm so sorry Delyia, dammit." Sam squeezed his eyes shut as sobs erupted from his chest.

My heart broke in two as I watched my brother sob his soul out. I walked up to him, wrapped my arm around him, and squeezed as tight as I could.

"It's not your fault Sam. Maybe it just wasn't meant to be." I began to silently cry behind him as my brother continued to sob.

"No.." he groaned between sobs, "I failed everyone. I was supposed to bring him back! IT was my job and everyone was counting on me. Now the world as we know it is ending and it's all my fault. I fucking failed Optimus – " He broke off as another round of sobs attacked.

"Sam stop it. This isn't your fault." Simmons frowned as Leo sighed.

"I told you it was over." I heard Leo mumble.

I didn't even bother with a glare now because my mind began racing at a mile per minute.

"This isn't the end.." I frowned. "This can't be the end. We didn't come all this way for nothing.."

I furrowed my brow and asked for Sam's sock.

"Why?" He asked me.

"Because everyone is after you because of what you know. What I know is thtat they wouldn't be after you unless there was a legitimate reason behind it. So give me your sock, we're taking this fucking magical robot dust and bringing Optimus back to life. Fuck this! I didn't go through all of this just to have it end this way! I refuse to let that happen!" Anger began to build itself in my chest as I finished my speech.

Sam nodded, "You're right D. I don't know if I fully believe in me – but I believe in you." He handed me the sock and we put the ash in together.

"Let's go fucking save ourselves an Autobot Leader." I stood up, one-hundred percent determined.

No longer would I sit idly by while everyone else conducted all of the hard work. No, no more; I was done sulking and pouting and having a pity party for myself. It's time to be the big girl I used to be, suck it up, and punch through this. All of this doesn't happen for no reason, there's always a reason behind everything. And the reason behind all of this was to bring Optimus Prime back. I'm coming Optimus; you aren't getting away from all of us that easily. I thought to the universe as we sped off to the coordinated were Lennox should be.

I'm coming.

A few minutes into the drive Jazz spoke up,

"Well damn Dee, it's great seeing your ass on fire like that."

"Yeah?" I chuckled, "Well good because you're going to be seeing a lot more of that soon!"

"Damn right. What changed?" Jazz asked.

I sat silently for a moment, thinking it all over.

"You know, I was just tired. After being in a haze like that for so long, it just gets old. After seeing Sam break down like that, I knew it was my turn to be strong – for the both of us. Sam has been strong for me more times than I can count. So now it's time to return the favor."

"I'm proud of you Delyia. I really am." Jazz rumbled.

"Awh, Jazzie – you going soft now?" I giggled.

"Aw shut the hell up – shit!" Jazz swerved as three missiles zoomed by us.

"What's happening?!" I squealed.

"It's Starscream." Jazz gasped as we continued to dodge missiles and shots.

Bee led us through the desert as we tried to shake Starscream off our backs. We twisted and turned through makeshift roads until we ended up hiding in an abandoned area. Sam and the crew got out of Bee so in turn I follow suit. Once I got to them I noticed Sam giving out a few orders – I guess my mini-speech got to him.

"Okay, Bee you're going to be the decoy, you lead the Decepticons away while I get to Optimus alright?"

" – You got it Chief – " Bee piped up, and gave us all a little salute.

"Look, with the help of Huey and Dewey over there – I'll help draw enemy fire. You get to those soldiers okay? I hope that dust works kid." Simmons patted Sam and I on the shoulders.

"Ah shit he's coming back – he's coming back!" Leo frantically pointed.

Simmons marched away as Sam, Mikaela, and I took off in the opposite direction.

"I guess Leo is staying with Simmons." I pointed out as we continued to run.

We ran for what seemed like hours through the sweltering desert heat, our combined determination pushed us through the exhaustion. As we reached the edge of a small rocky cliff, we stopped to catch out breaths. Just then, another flare shot into the sky from a small village just a few miles ahead.

"There they are!" I pointed in the village's direction with excitement.

"Well here goes nothing then. Let's go guys!" Mikaela jumped and dashed down the hill, Sam and I right on her heels.

My heart hammering my chest, Sam, Mikaela, and I all ran into a quiet village. Dashing past pillars, broken statues, and other pieces of history, we all quietly snuck into the town seemingly undetected.

"This seems a little suspicious to me." I whispered to Sam and Mikaela.

Overhead, a booming ball of fire zoomed past us, followed by some small explosions. We all looked at each other in horror,

"Is it the Decepticons?" Mikaela asked.

"I-I don't know but we better keep moving just in case." I replied, Sam nodded.

"Let's go."

We continued weaving through the alleyways, until we noticed a jet flying over head.

"In here!" Mikaela whispered as we all dashed into a small home.

"Okay, I don't think anyone saw us. So, here's what we're going to do. Once it's all clear – we're going to run for Optimus as fast as we can."

"What if it doesn't work?" Mikaela asked.

"It will." I responded.

"But what if it doesn't?" Mikaela whimpered.

"It will." Sam reassured her, then a large thump erupted right outside the house and we silenced ourselves.

All of us shared terrified looks as someone stomped about outside. We all waited with bated breath for the (What we assumed) Decepticon to go away. Sam scuttled near a wall and we all held our breathes. Sam suddenly whipped his head around to the wall and his eyes widened.

"I see you!" Starscream bellowed as we all yelled and ran for our lives.

"Move move move!" I shrieked.

I never felt my legs move as fast as they did in that moment. Starscream ripped open the building like he was tearing paper and flung his and in to grab us. Like cockroaches we scuttled out of the building and ran towards the location of Lennox.

"I – don't – think the soldiers – know we're – here!" I yelled between breaths.

As we neared the village we saw something in the near distance. A Decepticon jittered nearby as our parents appeared and ran towards us yelling all of our names.

"Mom – Dad!" Sam and I screamed as we all collided in a hug.

The Decepticon gave us no time to reminisce as he sprung into action, threatening us in Cybertronian.

"Sam I want you to run! You too Delyia! Go!" Dad yelled as the Decepticon pointed his gun in his face.

"Dad stop they don't want you!" Sam screamed, silencing him.

"Don't hurt them, this is what you want." Sam calmly held up the Matrix, waving it around. "You don't want them."

Sam tried to distract the Decepticon for a few moments longer, but he kept coming closer and closer until Sam had no choice but to scream,

"Bumblebee!" We all yelled as Bee leapt out of no where and tumbled away with the Decepticon.

Sam and I grabbed our parents and dashed away. We ran until we thought we were somewhat safe and paused.

"Bumblebee!" I yelled as Sam convinced our parents to leave with Bee.

"You have to let me go Dad, you have to let me go." Sam whispered to him.

"Ron, Ron let's go." Mom tugged on Dad's shirt.

"You both come back!" Dad sobbed as he hugged us.

"We will." Sam and I answered simultaneously.

Dad and Mom jumped into Bee as Sam turned to me,

"Mikaela I need you to take Delyia and go with Mom and Dad. It isn't safe." He sighed.

"Sam fuck you. We aren't going anywhere – "

"Stop this dammit! I want you two to be safe so shut it and – "

"Sam we aren't going without you." Mikaela forcefully shoved him.

"Fine. Let's go." Sam reluctantly dropped it and we all took off again.

"Sam!" We heard someone yell.

We turned around only to see Arcee and Ironhide fighting only a few meters away. Arcee turned to see us, and flagged us down. As we neared her she shot a few more times towards one of the Decepticons before turning back to us.

"Follow us to the pillars – we will get you guys to Optimus." Arcee ordered as she took out another Decepticon.

"Sam run!" We heard as a faint booming sound erupted.

Shrieking, we all ran for our lives as the ground beneath us exploded and crumbled. The force from the blast knocked us all onto our backs and we tumbled a few meters away. We crawled and dodged bullets as we tried to find shelter.

"Hey!" Sam yelled as we spotted Lennox a few yards to the right.

They ran over to us and led us to cover behind a part of an abandoned house.

"You better have a good reason for us to be here." Lennox sighed, as he gasped for air.

"We need to get to Optimus." Sam held up his sock.

"There's no way I can –"

"No I need to get to him. I can revive him." Sam glared.

"Okay. Fine. You gotta stick with me. Stay on my ass." Lennox ordered, and we all nodded.

In the distance I thought I had heard Jetfire yelling, "Behold the wrath of, Jetfire!" then, "I'm too old for this crap." Which brought a smile to my face in the middle of chaos.

It was all too soon wiped away we over heard on Lennox's radio, '1-1 tally orange smoke.'

"I hope this pilots have good ass aim." Epps nervously announced.

We all turned to him, "Why?" Lennox asked.

"Because I told them to hit the orange smoke." He nervously chuckled.

I held my breath as Lennox looked to the orange smoke a few feet away from us.

"You mean that orange smoke?"

"It wasn't my best toss okay?" Epps defended.

"Run!" Lennox bellowed and we all listened to his order.

Madly dashing, we all fled the scene as every area around us blew up. For the second time today, we were flown across the area by the blast force of the explosions. I felt the burned engrave them selves in my skin as I tossed around on the white sand. I didn't move for a moment as the wind was knocked out of my body. When I finally sat up and gasped for air, I noticed Sam was lying a good few yards away from me – completely still. I felt the adrenaline pulse through me as Mikaela cried out Sam's name. I watched as she practically flew to him but was soon tossed aside by Lennox. I suddenly became aware of my legs moving, and before I knew it I was by Sam's side screaming until my throat was raw.

"Fucking do something!" Mikaela and I screeched.

Medics came and went, but no one could revive Sam. No no no. My thoughts raced as Mikaela wailed over Sam's body. I can't loose you too Sam. I can't go on without my brother by my side. My thoughts numbly repeated those sentences as I looked on at Sam's freshly deceased body.

"Sam please! I love you!" Mikaela yelped as she smacked her hands against his chest.

Moments passed, and I slowly stood, and turned to look at where Optimus's dead body lay. In this fucked up Egyptian village laid two of the most important people in my life, now dead. Gone from my life forever –

I whirled my head around as I heard Sam gasp for air. Eyes brimming with fresh tears, Mikaela and I hugged him as tightly as we could.

"Sam!" She choked out.

"I love you. I love you." He repeated to Mikeala, stroking her hair.

That's when I noticed the Matrix of Leadership laying next to him. I looked to Sam, he nodded as I grabbed the Matrix and ran for Optimus's body. Sam climbed up with me and we held the Matrix together. I glanced at Optimus's lifeless chassis and felt a sob rising up. Sam held me for a moment before forcing me to look him in the eye.

"It's now or never." He said to me.

I nodded, and we lifted the Matrix high, then crashed it into his energy-less spark. A moment passed and my heart skipped at beat at the thought of failure. But, as soon as the feeling bubbled up it was shot down as I heard the familiar whirring and whizzing of machinery come to life. Sam and I jumped down as Optimus cycled in gallons of air, sputtering and coughing out dust in between breaths. He rolled onto his side, propped up by his arm, and opened his electric blue optics. He took in his surroundings and then his eyes hovered over Sam.

"Sam you came back for me."

Sam could only nod as tears streamed down his face. I suddenly in that moment felt nothing but fear. The adrenaline, fear, and love all battled one another as Optimus conversed with Sam for a brief moment. Then, Optimus turned his gaze to me and I felt myself shudder under the intensity of his gaze.

"Delyia, I am so so-"

He was interrupted by a reappearing Simmons and Leo,

"Sorry to screw up this grand old meeting but have we forgotten that the Fallen is still here and trying to –"

As Simmons spoke, the Fallen himself landed next to us, and snatched the Matrix from Optimus's chest. Too soon after processing what happened, I felt myself being lifted and clutched tight. With horror I looked up and saw the face of the Fallen less than an inch from my own.

"Let's see how far you get without your pet, Optimus Prime." The Fallen spat before he flew away, and I was still in his clutches.

"Optimus!" I shrieked as I was taken away from the one I had just been reunited with.

-*- O.P. P.O.V.-*-

"Delyia! No!" I shouted in horror as I saw her in the hands of him.

"Optimus! Get up! You need to get her!" I heard Sam shouting at me.

With what little strength I had, I attempted to stand only to fall onto my knees again. My spark tightened in my chest as I cursed myself. How could I be this pathetic, and now Delyia is paying a heavy price because of it. My thoughts were interrupted by another 'bot crawling close to us.

"Prime – take my power. Use it to destroy the Fallen and save this planet. Take my power, and you'll gain a strength you never knew." This Autobot ripped out his spark and fell to the side.

I felt his parts combine with my own, and the strength I once had being restored to my body. As the part melded together, I stood up with a new power surging through me. I glanced at each of my friends once more. Grunting as the power settled in with my spark, I felt my engine power start up.

"Let's roll." I announced before taking off towards where the Fallen had gone.

I won't let anyone hurt you Delyia. I'm coming.
