Hello! How is everything? So this isn't a chapter of The Legend of Fairy Tail; the other day I was thinking of a cute funny side story and I decided to write put it up for you guys! Since it isn't a chapter I'm not gonna put any POV's in it so yeah! Hope you guys enjoy and if you want another one just say so in your reviews!

Side Story: Where's Your Guild Mark?

The guild was loud as usual. Cana was drinking her rounds of alcohol, while Macao was talking with Wakaba about their 'young days'. Natsu, Gray, and Gajeel were fighting as always, with Elfman ranting about being manly.

Belle sat on the chairs at the bar next to Lucy. Mira cheerfully dried the clean mugs with a small towel. With small glances, Belle spotted every guild mark on every guild 's was red and was on his right shoulder, Lucy's pink one on her right hand. Gray's was blue on the right side of his chest and Erza wearing her blue blouse showed her blue mark on her left arm. Her own green mark was on her left thigh and it was noticeable thanks the new pink skirt she got when she went with Lucy shopping. Even Happy had a mark on his back.

Yet whenever her eyes focused on him, she couldn't spot his mark. Of course, he had to have a mark. Everybody did! Belle sighed in frustration.

Lucy and Mira glanced at Belle, confusion in their eyes.

"Belle? What's wrong?" Lucy asked.

Is there something on your mind?" Mira also asked.

Belle turned to her friends. "Well…I've been looking around lately and I've seen everyone's guild mark. But I've never seen Link's."

Both Mira and Lucy turned to the blonde who was arguing with Natsu.

"Now that you mention it, I haven't seen his guild mark either." Mira mumbled, putting a finger to her chin.

"Eh? But I thought you were the one to put the mark on him? Youdid put the mark on everyone else, right?" Lucy asked whipping her head towards Mira. Belle nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, but Link felt more trust towards the master, so he put it on him." Mira sweat dropped.

"Oh…"

Belle turned back to Link and watched him whispering in Natsu's ear. Natsu sighed and nodded sitting in his seat. Link smirked.

Well then I'll ask him myself… she got up and started walking.

"Belle, where are you going?" Lucy asked with a tilt to her head.

Belle looked over her shoulders and smiled, her curls dancing in the process. "I'm gonna ask him!"

Belle continued to walk over to Link and Natsu with a confident smile on her face. She would finally find out!

She was in front of Link and Natsu, smile still there. Link turned to Belle and smiled back. "Hey Belle!"

Natsu waved and Belle waved back.

"So Link, I was wondering for a while now but where is your guild mark?" Belle asked.

Link blinked, surprised at her question. "Why all of a sudden?"

Natsu stared at Belle, also wondering why she asked the question out of nowhere.

"Well you see," Belle began, Link enjoying the sweetness to her voice, "I've been looking around the guild and I saw everyone's mark, I've been watching you but haven't really seen your mark at all."

Link grinned at Belle. "You've been watching me?"

Belle's eyes widened and a blush crept to her face. His grin made her heart skip a beat. "N-no! Th-that's not what I meant!" She put up her hands defensively.

Link started to laugh at Belle's flustered face. Natsu, watching the whole situation, smirked evilly. "SO…Belle! You wanna see his guild mark right?"

Belle forgot about blushing and with a huge smile nodded. Link turned to Natsu and glared at him with a small blush.

"Natsu…" he growled.

Natsu ignored Link, and smirked. "Well how about you guess!" he told Belle.

"N-Natsu!" he shouted, blushing even more.

Belle put her finger to her chin in thought. "Hmm…his arm? I mean he always wears a long sleeve shirt!"

Natsu shook his head no.

"His hand?"

Natsu shook his head again. "You would have seen it wouldn't you?"

Belle got frustrated. "Umm…his back?"

Natsu's smirk widened. "You're cold!

"Oh I got it! His neck!" Belle said cheerfully.

Natsu shook his head. "Nope, but you're getting warmer!"

Belle turned to Link, who was standing in front of her, hand over his face. He was covering his blush and he looked up at her, his blue eyes capturing her green ones.

Belle felt her heart swell up. But then her gaze lowered down to his clothed chest. Catching him glance to where her eyes were looking to, they both blushed furiously. She turned to Lucy who was with Mira who had watched the whole thing. She turned back to Natsu.

"H-his ch-chest?"

Natsu gave his toothy grin with his eyes closed and shouted, "BINGO!"

With that said, he took a fistful of Link's shirt and ripped it off of him.

Everyone in the guild stopped.

Belle felt her knees go weak and her heart set to explode. There in front of her was Link, face red like a cherry, but what caught everybody's eye was his abs. It was pure muscle Belle could tell and it had the perfect tan to make it more attractive. Don't get her wrong, she's seen Gray many times without a shirt and Natsu's waistcoat also revealed skin…but Link's was…Belle thought of a good word. Bigger…? No…better? They popped out more. And there, in the middle of it all, laid Link's green guild mark on the left side of his chest. Green….

Almost every girl in the guild blushed at Link's appearance.

"Ah Link-san, J-Juvia thinks that you should c-cover yourself…" Juvia blocked her eyes with her hands but separated her fingers taking a few glances. Gray noticed this and covered her eyes with his hand.

"Oi!"

Link's eye twitched and he turned to Natsu who was full out laughing now. He clenched his fists, which made the muscles of his arms tighten. Belle silently cursed his long sleeved shirt, for hiding his wonderful arms. Belle blushed at her stupid perverted thoughts. Idiot…

She finally got her legs to walk and she was going to Natsu, to slap him on his head, but her legs stopped working and she tripped herself with her foot. Link spotted her about to fall so he ran up to her and caught her.

"Steady now!"

His arms around Belle's waist and her arms on his muscled shoulders, he lifted her a bit and stood her on her feet. Once they caught each others gaze, they couldn't help but blush.

Suddenly, whistling could be heard throughout the entire guild along with 'awes' and 'they're so cute'. The pair quickly let each other go with flustered faces. Good thing Makarov wasn't there.

Lucy caught Natsu's gaze giving him a thumbs up. Natsu only winked back making Lucy smile.

Link was walking Belle to Lucy's apartment. They got out of the guild; the night was dark yet warm. Link still didn't have a shirt on because everybody in the guild said that they didn't have an extra one. They obviously didn't have an extra one so Link just sighed. But what irked him the most, was the fact that Gray actually had a shirt, since he always took it off and he actually put it on. It took a while but Gray actually caught on with Natsu and Lucy.

As they walked through the crowd, Link gained himself loving stares, winks, and even an address from different girls, all who earned themselves a glare from Belle.

Link smirked at Belle, who looked for any other girls who would flirt with Link.

"So Belle…"

Belle turned to Link and blinked. "Yes…?"

"Did you find anything that interested you today?" he asked playfully. Belle gave him a confused look.

"What do you mean?"

Link burst out in laughter. He grabbed the back of her head with his right hand and with his left he grabbed her hand. He leaned in closer so that she could feel his warm breath on her skin.

"You're so innocent."

Belle flushed at how close he was and looked away. "Sorry…" was the only thing she could mumble.

Link smiled at her warmly.

Who knew his guild mark would lead to this?
