Mandy opened up her locker and sighed, resisting the urge to put her head in her locker and slam the door shut. Another bouquet of flowers and a note from a secret admirer. She got at least ten of these a week.

Lately, though, she'd seemed to get more than one from one of them. She recognized the handwriting. The notes were just as sappy and gross as the rest, but there was something she found undeniably cute in each of them. Whether it was the little scribble of a picture or some dumb, cheesy math equation that equaled the sum of LOVE or things like that. She liked that. She'd never admit it, but she found it cute. She looked forward to reading those out of the ones that were clearly from Algie or Bucky or even sometimes Vance would sneak some in and spray it with his disgustingly heavy cologne. But whoever sent these was doing something right.

She checked the note and sure enough, it was that handwriting. But this time, she was given a time and place to meet. Alongside the girls' dorm at 7 PM. She should be out of cheer practice at that point. It was entirely doable. Her heart embarrassingly skipped a beat, wondering who it could be.

Pedro waited nervously around the corner, casually watching as Mandy read his note. He grinned as he caught her lips twitch up for a moment, hoping that it was a smile. He'd had a crush on her for a while. Who wouldn't? She was arguably the most popular and beautiful girl in school. Her hair was soft and such a pretty shade of brown. Her smile when she cheered, no matter how fake, blinded him every time. He was ready to confess his feelings to her. So ready. He was tired of girls his age. There wasn't anything wrong with Karen nor Gloria. He just preferred older women. Like Mandy.

Seven rolled around and Pedro waited in the spot, nervously tapping his foot and hoping the prefects wouldn't get suspicious and yell at him for being so close to the girls' dorm. He couldn't afford to get in trouble. Not now, not ever.

Mandy nervously made her way to the dorm, avoiding as many people as possible, heart racing, nervous to meet this admirer of hers. Honestly, even if it was Beatrice, she'd kiss the heck out of her just for making her days a splash happier. When she rounded the corner however, her excitement fell as Pedro whatever turned and looked at her with wide eyes and a grin. It was him, wasn't it?

"H-hi, Mandy!" he chirped, voice cracking.

Mandy rolled her eyes. "Hi, kid. So it was you writing me those notes, huh?"

Pedro's grin fell. "U-um, y-yeah, that was me."

She sighed, her excitement completely gone. "Alright, listen. Those were cute, but you realize that there's... there's no chance here, right? Absolutely none."

Pedro looked like he was going to cry. Mandy sighed. Fantastic. She leaned over and pecked his lips and pulled away quickly, looking around to make sure nobody saw.

"Tell nobody, and use that for whatever weird thing you want. Just know that that is all you're getting from me. Ever."

With that, she spun on her heel, blushing lightly and hurrying into the dorm and into her room.

Pedro was stood in shock outside the dorm, fingers pressed to his lips and eyes wide. He eventually gained his senses and scattered off to his dorm, hurrying into his room and shutting the door, licking his lips and freaking out inside. He just kissed Mandy Wiles! He was so happy.

The next day came, and Mandy opened her locker again. Not to her surprise, another love note was there. When she opened it up, it was that same familiar handwriting. She flushed a little bit and shut her locker quickly, hurrying away.
