The man knelt down in front of Kau. It was the man from the room, the one Uncle John was talking to. He was the one with the funny legs. Kau looked away. If he was the bad man, then she wouldn't look at him.
"Are you lost, kid?" he asked
She didn't like him so Kau didn't look at him.
"Oy, what ya doing?" The strange man with the red hair from earlier in the day had walked up.
She walked to him. If Mommy and Daddy could trust Stephen then she could to. She held her Trua toy and stood at his side, looking down.
"Nothing, I swear. She probably wondered away from Cena." The Randy man said, standing up right again. "You better get her to her parents, Stephen. And I need to change."
Without much of a word the Randy man walked away, not looking back. Kau started rocking as she stood next to Stephen.
"Oy, little lass." Stephen knelt down to her level, but it was not hard to see how small she was. "Hold my hand so I can take you to your Ma and Da."
She looked at him. "Mommy?"
"Aye, that's right."
So, Kau took his hand and together they were off on the search for Mommy and Daddy.
To her, Stephen was strange. He was white. She didn't like the color white, but his red hair seemed intriguing to look at. With her Trua toy tucked in one arm, and the other being held by Stephen, she would look up at Stephen from time to time. But in a hall full of people, she didn't like it. So she stopped.
"Up, pwease." She said, holding her free arm up to the man.
"Little Lass, you have no idea how proud I am to hear you talk." He said leaning down to pick her up.
He was just like her Daddy, without the tattoos. She liked him, before he told stories. Stories like what Aunt Brianna told Mommy over the computer. Stephen was from Ireland, just like Mommy's family, and he had a calm voice that made her calm.
The dark haired girl and the red haired man was an odd couple to see. And it wasn't long before Stephen found one of the members of Lucy's clique.
It was Uncle Phil.
"Oy, Brooks, where are the parents to this little lass?" Stephen asked.
"Unca Pill!" Kau practically wiggled to get out of Stephen's grasp, practically launching herself into her adopted uncle's arms.
"Munchkin, what are you doing away from your Mommy?" Phil asked, looking at her as she rested her head on his shoulder.
She didn't answer. The noise of the people in the area was overwhelming to her. It was like there were a large gathering of Kai around, nothing but noise. She hated the noise. To accentuate the issue, she covered one ear with her Trua toy and covered the other with her free hand.
"She's getting overwhelmed. I'm going to take her back to Nessa's room, it's quieter there. If you see Joe, tell him that I took Kau back there."
"Sure, fella. Be seeing you later, Little Lass." Stephen rubbed her back slightly before walking off.
"Come on, Munchkin, lets go figure out where you Mommy is."
Her Daddy had just come off the stage, he was wet, a mix of water and sweat from the match she shared with Uncle Colby and Uncle Jon. But because Mommy's phone was muffled by her pocket and the fact the ring tone was down low, Kau's Mommy didn't hear her cell phone ringing.
"She's not picking up." Aunt Nessa sighed as she nearly thumped her phone down on the nearby counter.
Kau looked up at her blonde aunt. A majority of the people in the family were dark haired. To Kau, Aunt Nessa looked like she had sunny hair, bright yellow hair like the sun. Then there was Aunt Brianna and Uncle Brian, the ones from Ireland. They had red hair just like Stephen did. Her Mommy's hair was called auburn, a reddish brown color.
"You have earthy red hair," she remembered hearing Daddy say as he was playing with Mommy's hair.
She didn't know what earthy red meant but Mommy had beautiful hair that went down to the middle of her back. Maybe she would have that color of hair. Scissors were scary to look at and dangerous. She had seen Aunt Sophia cut her finger when she was cutting paper. What if she would get cut when her hair was cut? That was scary to her.
"I'm sure Stephen will get the word out that Kau was missing." Her Uncle Phil said as Kau looked at them.

Rounding a corner, Lucy was in frantic search for her daughter. But the person she ran into was someone she didn't want to deal with. The person turned out to be a partially clothed Randy Orton.
"Lucy, it's a pleasure to run into you." He said, smiling at her. It was not a pleasant smile instead it was an almost happy sneer, if there was such a thing as that.
"I can't talk, Randy. I'm looking for my daughter."
"Your daughter, I just saw her with Stephen." Randy didn't move however. "You should go talk to him. Also, you should think about hiring a babysitter. John isn't exactly a good one if he let her leave the room unattended."
"She's a toddler, Randy. She toddles away. I'm sure your daughter did the same thing. Excuse me."
As she went to walk around him, Randy caught Lucy's arm and made her turn to look at him.
"Look at me, Lucy. I'm still the best option for you." He almost sounded desperate. His tight was a little too strong for Lucy's liking. "Everything would have been better off if it was just you and me together. I know how I would have treated you."
When he went to push a strand of hair from Lucy's face she jerked her head away from him. "Let go of me right now, Randy."
"How could you fall in love with a guy like Roman Reigns?"
"His name is Joe Anoa'i. He is my husband. I fell in love with him because he never treated me differently, like I was stupid."
"Well you certainly are now. I mean, look at your kids…"
"Don't you dare bring my children into this, Randy. They are healthy and happy." She glared at him, stepping back away from him. "Don't even think about coming after me."
"Coming after you?" Her husband's deep voice asked.
Joe walked up with Colby and Jon, neither of which looked pleased to see Randy there at all. Nor were they very pleased to see Randy's hand on Lucy's arm.
"Get your damn hand off of her, Orton." Jon threatened.
And he did. Randy had known the reputation of this man enough to know if someone didn't do as Jon said, someone would get a fist in the face. He'd done that a while back when a man was harassing Nessa, Jon's girlfriend. Jon easily took the other man out with two swings and even helped the bouncers bounce the guy out of the bar.
"Leave my wife alone." Joe lightly tugged Lucy back to his side.
Randy didn't say anything, didn't try to get in Joe's face about who the better man was. He watched Lucy press her face into Joe's arm, shaking slightly. It only gave Randy a reason to bite his tongue and wait for another day to try his luck.
"I'll be seeing you around, Lucy." He smiled at her.
Joe glared at the older man who walked away from them. "What's wrong, Lucy? Did he do something to you?"
"No, but he told me that Stephen had Kau."
"It won't be difficult to find him." Colby pointed out. "Why would Stephen have Kau?"
"She walked away from John's locker room when he wasn't looking. John is looking for her. Nikki went to check in the diva's locker room but…but what if…"
"Nothing happened to her, you can't think like that, Luce." Jon said. "Come on, let's go look for the Irishman and hope he can point us in the right direction."
Stephen was in the catering area, talking to Stu and Drew. The three Europeans had been a good part of Lucy's life, especially with the children. Though Stephen was a big name in the company, Stu was around a lot when he was in Florida on breaks. But Drew, in the month that Lucy was alone with the two kids, he was the one that came over periodically to help out.
They looked up when the former Shield members and Lucy approached.
"Oy, did ya find Kau?" Stephen asked, seeing the panicked look in her eyes. "I left her with Nessa."
"Nessa has her?" Lucy, a second later, ran off towards the hair dresser's area.
"Thanks, man." Joe said briskly before following after his wife.

Kau found some paper that Aunt Nessa gave her. Her aunt even gave her a pencil to draw with. With her Trua toy tucked under her arm, she went back to drawing as she had been doing back in Uncle John's room. Now if only she could watch the Trua show on a TV she would be alright. She didn't like this place where Daddy worked. Too many people in one place and the music was loud, too loud for her.
She tried to draw Trua, but it wasn't coming out to be what she wanted. Drawing seemed to be a hassle for her to do. Letters were slightly better but living things didn't add up for her.
As Kau scribbled on the piece of paper, the door to Aunt Nessa's room burst open.
"Kauila!" Her Mommy's voice practically screamed.
She looked up, and smiled. There was Mommy and Daddy together. Sliding off of the chair she was on, Kau ran up to her parents. She instantly got scooped into her Mommy's arm, and was squeezed. Kau liked the feeling, this was her Mommy, and her Daddy gave good hugs. Daddy's arms wrapped around both her and her Mommy together, that's how big his hugs were to Kau. They were big and safe.
"What were you thinking of leaving Uncle John's room, Kauila?" Her Mommy asked.
"Babygirl, she wouldn't know what she's doing. I don't think she understands." Daddy spoke up. "At least Stephen was there to get her."
"Do you think Randy is capable of hurting her?" Her mommy asked as she handing Kau off to her Daddy.
Adult talk didn't intrigue Kau and so when Daddy put her down, she went back to the table to try to draw Trua.
Lucy watched as Kai was brought in by Joe's cousins, Jonathan and Joshua. "We found her." She said as the taller boy ran up to his sister at the table.
"Who found her?" Joshua asked.
"Orton." That was chorused around the room together.
"I don't want my children here during the shows. At least not during the live shows, I don't want this to happen again." Lucy finally demanded. "I don't want Kau running off again."
"I think that's a good idea." Sophia said, a hand resting on her stomach. She looked at Colby and smiled. "It would be good practice for me to take care of children."
Her husband nodded, smiling at her.
"Okay, the kids will only come around during the taping days. And they stay in one room."
"I'll be bored around here so they can stay in the hair dresser rooms. We can set up a TV for Kai, a table for Lucy and Kau." Nessa spoke up.
"Great. I just hope the divas won't be bothered by watching kids television shows while their hair and make up are done." Jon said before he thought about it. "You know what, never mind. I want to see them get the Dora the Explorer theme song stuck in their head before they have to go out to the ring. Torture them, kids, that's what you have to do."
"Kay," Kau responded not really understanding why Uncle Jon said that.
"I'll go tell Cena that Kau is safe." Stephen spoke up from the door, no one having heard him approach. "Seeing as you lot are finished for the night best to leave soon. That way you don't loose the lass again."
And they left later.
Lucy just hoped this event wouldn't happen again. She would loose her mind if something happened to her children.
Me, personally, I didn't care for the ending. But then again, I have no idea what to do next.
Thoughts, ideas, suggestions are all welcome. PM or Review what you think should happen. Thanks, Everyone!
