Sorry that it's been forever but I got stuck on this chapter and have gotten stuck once again on chapter 19.

Lupin waited with Alex outside Elissa's room. Elissa was currently on the phone talking with Neville, whom she was inviting to join them on their trip to Diagon Alley. Apparently he agreed as she ended the conversation with, "Great I'll be over in just a second."

Lupin turned to Alex, "Are we going to diagon alley the normal way, or your way?"

Alex shrugged, "That's up to you. Liz and I are good either way."

"Let's go the regular way. I'm not sure what people would think if we popped out of a random door."

Alex grinned, resembling his sister in that the grin was not as large as most's. "True. Its caused me quite a bit of trouble over the years."

Elissa joined them a few moments later holding Neville's hand, who was currently too distracted to be embarrassed.

"I hope I can afford decent books this year." Neville confided in Elissa as they joined Lupin.

"I'll buy them if you can't." Alex offered.

"Oh, no. I couldn't ask you," Neville replied shaking his head.

"You're not asking. I'm telling you." Like his sister Alex didn't seem willing to take no for an answer.

Neville sighed, "Alright."

Lupin couldn't help be somewhat amused.

Once at Diagon Alley they proceeded to the bookstore to buy new spell books. After only a few minutes Neville managed to find a large herbology book, which Elissa noticed he seem to want, though it wasn't on the list of required books.

"Want us to get that for you?" Elissa asked, leaning over Neville's shoulder to look at the book.

"Oh no, I couldn't."

"Sure you can. Its okay to ask for things sometimes. You'll pay us back later."

"How?" Neville knew that there was no way he could get the money any time soon.

"Just by being you."

Neville didn't understand how that couldn't as payment but he just couldn't turn her down. "I'll pay you back."

"I know. Take your time."

They finished shopping within the hour with their school supplies and more.
