Finally I thought of a nice setting to wrap things up!
"I'm glad you're back Karin! Things aren't what they used to be when you left, I missed you so much!" Samantha said to Karin.
"Aww… Darling, I missed you too!" Karin replied with all smiles.
"I was so sad when you left this school; I thought you would not come back. Personal matters aside; I'm surprised that the school accepted you back in the first place."
"Remember who you are talking to honey, there is little I can't do!"
"Speaking of which, how did your date went yesterday?"
"He was an half an hour late so I just left."
Samantha scrunched up her face in confusion and exclaimed: "What!?"
"It was his own poor punctuality that gave him a horrible first impression, not my problem." Karin said snootily.
"So… nobody came after I left?"
"Ah, after you went off to your business I was lucky that Sakura was there to help me pass the time."
Samantha took a second to digest the situation and figured out that Karin did not know that Sakura was in fact her blind date.
"Oh… That's even better! Right?"
Karin blushes before sheepishly nodding. Samantha was overjoyed at Karin's reaction.
"I want to know everything you done with her yesterday!" Samantha demanded excitedly.
"You guys really kissed?" Kei asked.
"Yes! It was amazing!" Sakura said excitedly.
"I'm really happy you finally come to accept your feelings."
"Thank you Kei."
"Why are you thanking me?"
"If it wasn't for what you said to me that day, I believe I would never know my own true feelings."
"You don't have to thank me for that… I just did what any friend should do. Actually I think I should apologize, I should not have been so harsh when talking about Karin way then… If I had encouraged you instead you would never been through all that hassle."
"Don't feel that way, I don't blame you for anything... If it wasn't for you in the first place I might not even thought I liked her that way."
"I'm happy for you Sakura." Kei said with a smile.
"Wow! Look at that! Wow that looks delicious!" exclaimed an excited Sakura. She took out her digital camera and started taking pictures of various objects.
"Sakura… calm down this is just how Italy is." Karin said in a slightly annoyed manner. Karin has travelled to Italy several times before and everything she saw was nothing new.
"Hey darling let's take a picture by this river!"
"Sakura! We are going to be late for our reservation, we have to get going! And don't call me that in public!"
"Hurry up! There is a strange looking boat behind us!"
"It's called a gondola!"
As the couple was busy taking selfies, Kei and Samantha awkwardly followed behind. They ran out of topics for small talk because they practically just met.
"They seem to be having a lot of fun." Samantha said.
"Yea they really make an odd couple." Kei joked.
Samantha running out of things to say thought for a while before asking: "Aren't you going to take any pictures? It is your first time in Venice too."
"I had taken a few with Sakura earlier… and now it seems she totally forgotten about me."
"Tell me about it, Karin is so busy controlling her that she seemed to forget about me too."
"I guess she gets really excited with Karin."
"Well, want to take a picture with me?"
"Erm… I…"
"It's okay if you do not want to…"
"No… that's not it, I thought you wouldn't want to…"
"Silly you of course I would be more than happy to take pictures with you!"
"Well… ok then let's take a picture with this scenery here!"
"Oh better yet let's all take one together! Karin! Sakura! Group picture!"
"Yay!" Sakura cheered as she ran towards Samantha.
"Samantha! I did not imagine you to be so enthusiastic about selfies too!" Karin bickered.
Everyone clumped together and smiled for the camera Samantha's long arms are holding.
"Oh my I look terrible in this picture! It's totally your fault Sakura! You bumped into me when the camera the instant the camera took the picture! Can you just stay still for the camera?"
"Ahh… Sorry Karin-san I was too excited…"
"Ah! A part of my face is blocked by Samantha's hair!" Said Kei
"Oh! And it also seems you are blushing… or are you actually sniffing her hair Kei? Wow I never knew you guys got along so fast!" Karin Teased.
"Karin! Don't spew nonsense!" Kei retorted uneasily.
"My my, why are your cheeks so red Kei?" Samantha added to the teasing.
"I'm not! Totally not!" Kei tried to deny.
Sakura watched as her girlfriend, best friend and her girlfriend's best friend getting along so well and thought to herself that she would never imagined a better way to spend her holiday.
