Convince me….

How? How can I convince him? He knows about Gale… he could use that against me in so many different ways.

I push myself out of the bath that my mother had prepared for me after Snow left, leaving the lounge smelling like roses and blood.

I look at myself in the mirror, I'm thin, you can see my ribs, and my cheekbones are more distinct. With a sigh I dry off, pull on some plain black undergarments and I tie a white robe around me before going out to my bedroom where I find Cinna zipping up garments in bags, my black suitcase lays open on the bed.

He looks up when he sees me and before he can open his mouth to say something I have already launched myself into his arms.

" It's okay Katniss, he's gone…" Cinna says gently stroking my hair down my back, I shake my head;

"No, he will never be gone." I mutter, he pulls away and frowns as he brushes strands of hair out of my eyes;

"He has cameras, in the woods, in the hob. Hell! I wouldn't be surprised if he had them in this house!" I exclaim, he wipes a stray tear from my cheek,

"It will be okay…" He attempts to comfort me, but I can the fear in his eyes before he can get rid of it.

The thought comes as if someone stabbed me…

Everything is not going to be okay.

"Katniss?" a small innocent voice says behind us, Cinna lets his arms drop as I turn around to face my sister.

"Yes Prim?" I ask hoarsely, her eyes flicker between Cinna and I;

"Mom sent me to get you and Cinna, dinner is ready downstairs." She says, I can't help but give her a small smile;

"Okay, you two head down, I'll be down in a minute." I say gently, she nods and turns to leave, without a word Cinna follows her.

After Dinner I retreat up to my room after bidding goodnight to everyone. Around One, I'm still not asleep and resort to just laying on my back and staring at the ceiling, the door creaks open, feet shuffle across the floor and my sister crawls into the bed beside me.

"What's wrong little duck?" I ask using her old nickname, she shrugs;

"I had a nightmare; you were back in the games." She says and looks down, I frown;

"Hey, I'm right here okay, I'm fine." I assure her, she blinks;

"But you're about to leave again, will you be able to come home after the tour?" she asks, I smile sadly at her;

"I hope so." I mutter before we both fell asleep like we used to before the games.
