Previously:
I was discussing this with Alice when Santiago showed back up in the middle of my living room.
"Alright Edward you are up, come with me."
"I am not going anywhere with you before you give me more answers," I told him flatly.
Santigo narrowed his eyes and growled, "You are so stubborn, do you want your wife back or not? If not that's fine, I'll go home and enjoy the consequences of-" he stopped. "Just trust me, I am working in your best interests. You can trust me."
"No," I answered which sent him off on a tirade talking to himself stomping like an angry child around my house. Alice tried to reason with me but I was standing my ground.
"The choice is no longer yours," Santiago said sternly and grabbed my arm.

Suddenly we were somewhere different. In a courtyard at a large brick building, a castle. He must have blinked us to the Volturi Castle. I surveyed my surroundings and it seemed that I was in a courtyard, seemingly empty but there was no trusting this child. I turned towards Santiago about to go off on him when he held his palm up to me with his other hand signaling me not to speak. He pointed to his head so I tried to read his thoughts.
"Listen for her," he thought, "Try to hear her, she is reading, her block should be down." I was almost immediately kicked out of his head as to signify this was not a two way conversation and this child thought he could order me around. If this was a trap he will be the last one I kill, and I will skin him alive, or make himself skin himself alive.
As I was looking for the trap that I was sure was waiting for me I heard her.
"May she wake in torment!" he cried, with frightful vehemence, stamping his foot, and groaning in a sudden paroxysm of ungovernable passion."
The sound of her voice after all of this time made my heart stop for a moment. She was reading Wuthering Heights. I tried to determine where the thoughts I was hearing were coming from in the castle. I listened some more.
"Why, she's a liar to the end! Where is she? Not there—not in heaven—not perished—where? Oh! you said you cared nothing for my sufferings!"
She is in the right side of the Castle. I Blinked to a darkened window ledge to listen closer.
"And I pray one prayer—I repeat it till my tongue stiffens—Catherine Earnshaw, may you not rest as long as I am living; you said I killed you—haunt me, then!"
She is on the top floor, but which window? I Blinked between the windows, careful not to be seen, as she continued to read.
"The murdered do haunt their murderers, I believe. I know that ghosts have wandered on earth. Be with me always—take any form—drive me mad!"
The irony of the words she was reading as I frantically searched for her was burning me.
"Only do not leave me in this abyss, where I cannot find you! Oh, God! it is unutterable! I cannot live without my life! I cannot live without my soul!"
Found her. I stood on the ledge outside her window and watched her. She was on her stomach on her bed with her legs and feet up and crossed. It looked like she was in a dress which is very unlike her but she looked so beautiful. Her hair looked longer than I remembered and it had a curl to it as it flowed down her back and slipped in front of her face. She was breathtaking.
I was able to tear my eyes off of her long enough to scan the room to determine if she was alone. I glanced down to see what Santiago was up to and he was no where to be found. Sketchy kid. I blinked into the room in a spot where Bella wouldn't see me, or at least that's what I thought when I was suddenly lifted into the air and restrained tightly. Bella didn't even look to have noticed my presence as she slowly lifted herself up off the bed, her eyes not leaving the pages of the book. She must be on the last page of a chapter, I thought to myself, she always does that at home too. When she was finished she finally looked up at me, first very angry, then slightly confused. Did she recognize me?
When she spoke she did so with authority, "Who are you and what are you doing in my bedroom?" I hesitated and then suddenly felt like I was being electrocuted, "answer me, immediately or you will not live to get a second chance." That's a bit dark for her.
"My name is-" I struggled to get out when someone entered the room.
"Can you believe that there is none of that potato salad left? I had to get-" It was Santiago, he looked up as if surprised to see me. "Robert? What are you doing in here bro?" he said looking at me as if this was who I was. He looked to Bella, "He's cool, a bit lost apparently though." Bella looked at him and dropped, or more accurately threw me to the floor. Santiago came over to me and helped me up. "Isabella, this is Robert, he is new, I am training him in security."
"He should be careful not to lurk where he is not welcome," Isabella stated.
"I'm sure it was an accident, like I said he is cool." Santiago stated which seemed to satisfy Isabella's anger. "So like I was saying, potato salad is gone, I was thinking we could sneak out and get some authentic italian food, I know how much you love the mushroom ravioli down the way and Robert has never been there so his mind will be blown." Bella looked at me, "You will have to get used to him because I won't be around forever."
"Fine, but if we get caught I will blame you and let them punish you."
Santiago gave a big grin, "Deal." He pulled Bella by the hand over to me and grabbed my hand and we blinked.
