The Half-Blood Prince Chapter 13

Halfway up the mountains Gandalf and Agathon ran into what would usually be an insignificant dilemma for most traveling this way on foot.

Neither of their mounts could come with them any further. Both the horse and stag were much too bulky and sturdy to walk along the same path Bilbo and the Dwarves did earlier. They stood no chance. So Gandalf had to send the horse back to its home in Rivendell. Agathon took a totally different direction. Instead of sending Stardust back to Rivendell he gave the stag instructions to meet him on the other side pass. Agathon held no doubts that Stardust wouldn't be there.

So Agathon and Gandalf continued the journey alone. Eventually the duo located where Bilbo and the Dwarves had taken shelter during the night to avoid the thunderstorm barraging them so fiercely. Another reason why Starlight and Gandalf's horse couldn't accompany them further. The animals would've lost their footing and slipped. If word had gotten back to Maerwen about what happened to Starlight she would've been heartbroken. So sending the stag on an alternate was a wise choice in this case.

What they found there is far from encouraging. The Dwarves and Bilbo had fallen into a trap made by Goblins. The signs of it could be seen everywhere in the small cave.

The trap door was right beneath their feet under the rock and sand that concealed it. This didn't fool them for one minute.

Gandalf and Agathon avoided detection by the enemy slipping inside with little notice. Any resistance they'd meet would be dealt with swiftly so no alarms would be sounded.

They needed to locate the missing Dwarves and Hobbit soon otherwise it would literally mean the heads of the Company.

Hope you all like this one! ;D

Also, I'm considering doing a Venom story for the 2001-2003 Justice League Series. Do you guys think I should make it a crossover or just put it in the Justice League Universe? Another thing is about an idea of the symbiote completely taking over the host or if the relationship is a lot like Eddie and Venom's in the 2018 movie?Another thing is I'm having trouble with figuring out a title and a name for my character. If anyone has suggestions I'm more than willing to hear them.

As per usual with stuff like this the person/readers that offer the winning suggestions gets a question answered for the story in mind. In this case it's the Justice League 2001-2003 and Venom 2018 story.

I really want to get this idea up and running soon, but I'm kind of all over the place.
