Wow, I'm so sorry it has been like 3 years since I have last updated. I don't think you guys will ever forgive me but I just wanna say thank you to all those who stayed and kept following me! Well, here is the new chapter!

Lucy POV
The day has finally come for battle of the bands. I'm so excited and nervous it's almost a sickish feeling, but it also feels good. Doesn't make any sense, I know. We made it all the way to the country of Minstrel from Fiore. We get to perform in the second biggest stadium in the world! These are only the semi-finals and those who win here will be the final 3 to go to Pregrande to perform in the biggest stadium known to man! I really hope we get in. It kind of sucks that we have to miss the first week of school. It's crazy to think that I moved to Fiore and we started this band a year ago and also became friends. We even get to celebrate it by performing! Well, it's more of a side thing. The most important thing is winning right now. I don't want to have to join the Twin Dragons band again. What even is his motive to have me join the band? They have Minerva, why do they want me? I suppose that doesn't matter now though. "Hey! Snap out of it! We're here!" Levy said. "Sorry, Lost in thought for a moment." I said. I haven't been sleeping all that well, thanks to that stupid bet we made. We are currently sitting in a rental car going to the venue. Gajeel is driving with Natsu in the passenger seat and Levy and I in the back. The Semi-finals aren't until later tonight, they just wanted to have a meeting with all of the bands to tell us how things will work and which bands are going on which days. "You have such a serious expression on your face, Luce. Something on your mind?" Natsu said. I didn't want them to think I doubted our playing which I don't but we really do have no idea what we are up against when it comes to Minerva. "Nothing. Probably just nerves kicking in. Don't worry, I'll be ready for the concert." I smiled to try and show I was okay but I have a hard time thinking Natsu believed it though. He can read expressions almost too well.
Natsu POV
She was lying. Everything on her face was telling a lie right up to the smile. She must have not slept all night because there are bags under her eyes. I'm not gonna pressure her to tell me anything though. I'm positive she will tell me when the time is right. We finally reach the venue and Gajeel puts the car in park and turns it off and we all get out. "It feels good to finally be out of that car!" Levy said. "We were only in the car for like 30 minutes." Gajeel said. "Yeah, and on the plane for another 2 hours!". We start to walk to the entrance and I walk up to Luce. "I'm sure we will do great! No need to worry." I believe what I said with all my heart, I really hope she knows that. She smiles back at me and looked right back to the ground. Well that didn't work as well as I was hoping. Just as I was going to ask her what was wrong someone spoke up. "What's wrong little princess? Are they not treating you well?" We look up to see none other than Sting standing right in front of Luce. "That's why you should join us again. It's not too late to do this peacefully.". His statement alone made me want to punch him. I look toward Luce and she looks completely calm on the outside but her eyes show determination and a hint of anger. "As if," She scoffs, "They are wonderful and honest to me unlike you were." She continued walking and we followed without another word. She is amazing.
Lucy POV
My chest feels like it's going to explode. That has been the most nerve wracking thing I have ever done. I just have to get out of here before I start like crying or do something even more stupid like apologize for what I said. We finally walked through the front entrance and the inside was just breathtaking. The stage and lights were still being set up and everyone was everywhere. Everything was overwhelming. Natsu put his hand on my shoulder as a kind of reassurance. I appreciate him trying to cheer me up. One of many things I like about him and wish I could say them all to him. We all go and sit in the audience chairs and the producers of Battle of the Bands get in front of everyone and introduce themselves and continue on with instructions but I can't seem to focus at all. I keep looking at Sting and wondering what his motive is in all of this. Why would he want me back in his band? He has Minerva and she seems to be quite able at singing. Of course I guess I don't know quite the extent of her singing ability since they didn't really show off at the first show. Speaking of which, where is she? I see all of them over there except her. Is that why he asked me to join right off the bat? Maybe something happened to her and they are freaking out. In that case, we might have this in the bag! Of course we still have to be wary of the other bands in terms of winning the contest but me switching bands is probably not happening. I really don't want to leave them behind. They are the best friends anyone could ever ask for. "Hey, Lu-chan?" Levy leaned in and whispered. "Are you okay? You have been looking at them for quite awhile now.". I honestly hadn't noticed how much time had passed. "Sorry Levy, I just was wondering what happened to Minerva. She isn't here."
"She probably went to check them into the hotel or something. It would be even better for us if she were gone though."
"I'm going to ask them after this."
"After what you said to Sting? Do you think he will actually talk to you about where their lead singer is?"
"Your right." I had actually also forgotten about that.
" We are all staying in the same hotel anyways. I'm sure if she's here, we will see her sooner or later or maybe never but ya know, just a hope."
After that we giggled a little and went back to listening to the instructions.
Natsu POV
Why was she staring at him? Did he say something to her again? Wait, that's impossible we have been with her the whole time. Ugh, why am I acting this way. I just kinda shake my head and continue listening.
~Time skip~
"Why did that take so long! There are only 6 bands! 6!" Gajeel was complaining up a storm. Not that I blame him. This Battle is a 4 day process. 2 bands go each day for 3 days and 1 band is picked from each day to go to the finals on the 4th day. On the 4th day the 3 bands then face off and a winner is announced. Easy right? Wrong. If things don't go that smoothly than the contest can become longer and they told us a bunch of fall back options just in case. I really hope it does not come to that. The way they chose who went which day was by drawing sticks with the labels 1,2, and 3. The bands that chose 1 go tonight which are Quatro Cerberus High and Mermaid Heel High. Funny pairing considering one is a girls only school and the other is, get this, a boys only school. What are the chances! On the second day Blue Pegasus and Sabertooth high verse each other and then last but not least, the third day. On the third day we get to verse Lamia Scale High. I was hoping to verse Sabertooth high just to get them out of the competition. Looks like we have to hope that blue pegasus somehow beats them so that we don't have to. Also so Luce can relax a little bit. We finally reach the hotel and get checked in but of course this event can't afford a lot of different rooms so they just got a room for each band. It will be cramped I imagine but we will make do… Oh who am I kidding. I am not looking forward to sharing a room with Gajeel or a bed for that matter. That guy is huge like tall and muscles everywhere huge. I am to this day still surprised that he even wanted to join a band. He doesn't seem like the type but he is shockingly good at everything. Looks aren't everything as I have learned. We get to the room and it is actually much bigger than a regular hotel room. No wonder they couldn't afford seperate rooms for us. There is a balcony and a little extension area for a kitchen and even another extension area for a living room space! Well, if I don't want to share a bed with him I can just sleep on the couch. The hotel staff must think of that too because they even have a couple of extra blankets and pillows in the closet. The bedroom area is quite large and consists of two queen beds as usual. That is definitely not going to fit us both. "Check out this view!" we all turn to see levy out on the balcony. We all walk out there and see the vast ocean in front of us also the sun setting. Of course I am honestly quite terrible at explaining things like what i'm seeing or really anything I suppose. When I turned to look to see who came up to my left though. It was probably at that moment I could honestly say that my world got more color to it. Luce had come up and her eyes got bigger as she saw the view. It's like the sun had melted into her brown eyes turning them into a bright amber color. Her face had lighted up like a star coming through the darkness of space even if only for a little while. Her light yellow hair flowed so gently in the breeze just like a wave crashing on the beach. Strong yet gentle. She pulls you in but if you want to leave she will let you swim back to shore. If you want to know more about her she will let you but you really have to work for it. She doesn't let just anyone know her. Only the ones who know how to hold their breath, and even after they go back for air she awaits them to go more. She is just as much the moon as she is the sun. Mysterious and dark but shines so bright at in the cover of the dark. Brightens the day even though it's already quite bright. She is the sun, moon, ocean, and space all into one. She is mine… mine? What am I thinking?!
Lucy POV
Levy was right. It is so gorgeous out. I can almost not look away. Then I notice Natsu looking at me. "What? Is there something on my face?" I ask. He turns to face the scenery quickly after I say that and says "Oh! I-It's nothing." He almost looks like he's blushing. Maybe he is tired after the trip? "Come on Lu-chan! Let's go look at the pool! If it's anything like this hotel room i'm hoping it's amazing!" Levy said as she pulls on my arm. I give and follow her out of the room to go look for the pool. I wonder why Natsu was staring at me like that? "Hey, Levy?" I ask. "Hm? What's up Lu-chan?" I would like to ask if she saw but that would be really embarrassing considering what I told her last time. "Nevermind." I say as I shake my head from that memory. She looked at me curiously and then I assume she chose not to push me for anything. Levy truly is my best friend ever. We found the pool as decided to go at a later time as it is a 24 hour access. We went back to the room to discuss with the guys if we wanted to go see the performance tonight because it was an option since it wasn't our night to preform. We decided to go just to see who we are up against because even though we have seen them perform before but this time they have to be really serious if they weren't already. We got there and the audience seats were filling up quick we got there early enough that we got to be in the fourth row. Gajeel sat at the far left, then Levy, and then Natsu and then I was on the far right. "Wow! Didn't expect to see you here! Or anywhere that is. Why didn't you tell me Sting?" That voice.I know that voice from anywhere. Her shrill of a voice reverberates through my bones. I turn my head only to see. Yukino. No wonder Minerva wasn't there this morning. They tricked me with a nobody and at last minute brought in the one person who can destroy me. I'm pretty sure I was shaking right where I sat. I couldn't say anything, I just stared. "Huh? I thought you said she had become more talkative?" Yukino had said questioningly. "Well, she did snap at me a couple of times before now. I'm unsure what happened from this morning till now." Sting said.
Natsu POV
Who is she? Luce is shaking just at the sight of her! What happened between them? "Oh well. Lets just leave her be. The rest of the group is saving us seats up there." Sting says as he gestures towards the front row. They then walk away and Luce looks into her lap. She seems to be getting more pale by the second! "Luce! Are you okay? Are you feeling sick? Do you want me to take you back to the room?" I express my concern. She says something under her breath that I can just barely make out. "I lose again." after that she runs out of the auditorium. "Luce!" I run right after her. I find her standing next to the car. "Luce, what's wrong? Who was that girl?" She stood there for awhile and then finally started to speak. "Her name is Yukino. I used to go to school with her. We were best friends. We became best friends because of our love for music and so we took vocal lessons together. She made a lot more progress than I ever had. Faster too. She is a much better singer than me by a long shot so I was quite surprised when I was asked to join Twin Dragons and she didn't. Sting was her boyfriend at the time. It would've made sense for her to join. Apparently they had actually split before the band was being created and they needed a singer and it would've been awkward to ask her to join. So, there I was. I would always ask her if that was alright and trust me she is an extremely nice person. If she didn't like it she would have told me. I even went to her after Sting had asked me out to ask if she minded and if she did I never would have gotten together with him no matter how much I liked him because she was much more precious to me than anyone. She still said it was fine." She choked back a bit of her tears for a second and started to talk again only to have me stop her. "You really don't have to tell me if you don't want to. I don't need to know if you aren't ready to tell me." She stopped me by shaking head and continued speaking. "No, I need to tell someone." So I let her continue as I silently listen. "So after that the days went by and I thought we were happy. Then my dad and mom sat me down and said that we were moving because of my dads job. Which I was totally fine with because I could still keep in contact with them and it wasn't all that far. So I went over to Stings house on the day we were going to move. His dad had answered the door and told me that he was upstairs in his room and just go ahead and let myself in. So that's exactly what I did but I did not expect to see them together. I opened the door and there on the bed was Yukino, my best friend, and Sting, my boyfriend, making out with each other much more intimate than I would like to express. So I slammed the door and ran out of his house only to have him follow me out with nothing but his pants on. I yelled at him and said I was leaving and that we were through. That was that until he came back." She ended it so abruptly that I wasn't quite prepared. She was standing there with her head down silently. She then brought her hands up to her face and started sniffling. She started speaking between sobs. "I- I just never ex-expected my two b-best friemds to do something like that to me." I honestly had no words so I just did what my body told me to do. I put my hand gently on the back of her head and pulled her to me and put my other arm around her as she sobbed into my chest. We just stood there for a long time. Why would someone do something like that to a precious girl like this?
