"Hey Lauren." Lauren jumped and turned around to face the person who had called her name. At the moment she was searching for Nicholas and Lex to tell them about their encounter with Emmett.

"Um...Hey Harper." Lauren said hesitantly. The small brunette girl smiled at her and caught up o her quickly. Lauren frowned. They had never really talked aside from the time at the party and even then it wasn't that long.

"Sorry to bother you. I was just wondering if you've seen William or Nikki around, I've been gone the past few days and I wanted to get their notes for history class." She said. Harper did look a bi sick. He voice was cracked and her face pale. She had a sweater and a jacket on. Lauren furrowed her brow how had she not noticed it before?

"William isn't here today, he's sick as well but I was just talking with Nikki she's down there." Harper nodded at her.

"There must be a bug going around huh?" She said with a glint in her eye. "Thanks!" She turned and quickly made her way down the hallway without saying another word. Lauren pursed her lips.

"That was strange." She said to herself. She gripped her bag. She hoped Lynne would get there soon so they could talk to her. They need a plan quick to save William and they going to their classes and wandering around all day wasn't the way to do it. She sighed.

" Lauren!" Well she was popular today. She turned to see Lex running down the hallway. People moved to the side to let him through. He stopped he came up to her. He was lucky no teachers were there to seem him run. He would definitely get a detention If there were.

" What is it Lex?" She asked him in annoyance. He frowned at her.

" Are you kidding me?" He said. He rolled his eyes and grabbed on to her arm. "You know what just follow me!" Lauren smirked. This was more like the old Lex.

He speed walked down the hallway and Lauren followed him. He turned right then left and went down some stairs. He then went left again. "Where are we going?" Lauren asked. They were pretty much alone by then.

" Lynne sneaked in to the school," Lex replied. Lauren rolled her eyes as Lex stopped and glanced around a corner. He then walked forward.

"Of course he did." She said. Lex smirked at her and walked forward slower. he stopped in front of a door and opened. Lauren went in and Lex followed behind. Lynne, Nicholas and Mase stood in the room. Lynne turned.

" We have to make this quick." Lauren nodded.

" I know. I have something to say first." Lynne looked annoyed. "There's a kid named Emmett here at this school and he knows we're werewolves." Lynne sighed.

" As long as he isn't a threat I don't care at the moment." Lynne said. Lauren said nothing in response. She just waited for Lynne to continue. The others whoever seemed surprised.

" Lynne we can't just ignore that!" Nicholas said. Lynne gave him a glare.

" Fine if you really want to talk about a nobody who knows our secret then so it, it's not like William is dying or anything," Nicholas looked guilty. No one said another word.

"We have a plan to get those creatures who attacked William out." Lynne said. All of them perked up.

"'I will explain it to you after school. What I need you do is find Nikki and tell her as well. I will. I will be calling Nico and he will come with his pack. Kai is coming too."

" What about Deucalion?" Mase asked. She bit her lip.

" He left today." Lauren scowled.

" He could have helped us!" Lauren protested. Lynne gave her a tired look. She wasn't up for arguing.

" He was the one to propose the plan." Lynne said. Lauren stared at her.

" Are you sure we can trust him?" Lynne nodded.

" Yes. He has nothing to gain from this-

"You don't know that!" Lauren said loudly. Lynne gave her a sharp look. Lex sighed.

" I don't have time to argue. It's the best plan we have so unless you want William to die I suggest you follow it," Lynne said.

" We don't even know the plan." Nicholas said with exasperation. Lynne sighed and ran a hand through her hair.

" I told I am going to tell you after school. He straight home, no stopping at lockers or anything. Just make sure you tell Nikki. We couldn't find her." Lynne said. She glanced over at Mase.

" It's time to go," she said. Mase nodded.

" Where are you taking her?" Lauren asked. Lynne scowled.

" If you would remember correctly I told you I would get in to the school by saying that I was picking her up for an appointment. I didn't sneak in." She eyed Lex. "Okay?" They nodded. " Get back to class." Mase smirked as she and Lynne turned and walked towards the door. They opened it then exited.

" Who was it that figured it out?" Nicholas asked instantly. Lauren shrugged. She was irritated.

" His name is Emmett, I think his last name is Lawson but I'm not sure. He's in Williams grade." Lauren answered. She glanced around the room.

" We'll I better be getting to class. If your looking for him he's tall with brown hair and will probably approach you."

"That's helpful." Lex replied but Lauren was already out the door heading to Algebra.

it makes me made this chapter is so short. Next one should be better.
