Mika yawned as she sat in the passenger seat while Sven drove. Train was snoring in the back and Eve was reading.

"You can sleep if you want Mika." Sven smiled. "You don't have to stay awake just for me."

"I love you Sven, but I'm not staying awake for you… I just can't sleep over Train's snoring." She yawned again. "I didn't sleep well last night…"

"Hmm?" Sven asked. "What was the problem?"

"Just a weird nightmare…"

"Could it be memories of your past?" Eve asked looking up from her book. "We could use that as a clue to find out about you."

"No… It wasn't a memory of my past…" Mika looked off and sighed. "I was somehow a fish and Train was chasing me trying to eat me…"

Sven started laughing, waking Train up. "Huh? What's up?"

"You tried to eat Mika in her dream." Eve said calmly.

Train blinked confused. Mika just sighed. "It was nothing Train. Just a weird dream."

"Oh okay…. So are we there yet?" Train asked stretching.

"No." Sven frowned, getting annoyed. "You think sleeping will allow you to pass time so calmly?"

Train shrugged. "I figured we would be there by now."

"Well we're not." Sven sighed. "And we don't even know if he'll be there. This is only Zane Rikan's most known city to hang out in."

Mika shifted. She knew she wanted to confront Rikan, but she was still nervous about it. He was strong and he had the ability to harm those she cared about. She glanced over at Sven as he drove. I don't want to lose you Sven.

"I can see it." Eve pointed out the window.

"Right." Sven nodded. "Now remember to stick close to each other and be careful." He glanced at Mika out of the corner of his eyes. She was staring out the window silently.

"Alright, we're checked into the hotel." Sven said walking into the lobby where the other three sat waiting for him. "Let's go look for info then."

"Right." Mika nodded. "Come on." She headed out the door. Eve followed her and the boys followed them.

"So where are we starting?" Train asked.

"Where he would go the most." Eve said looking over calmly. "Some place where he would have to go."

"Someplace to get food!" Train said smiling like he had just solved the biggest problem in the world.

"Exactly." Mika smiled.

"Wow Train you actually figured something useful out." Sven laughed.

Mika smiled. "Alright come on. We'll check out every bar in town and ask around. Someone will have to know something."

"That's true." Sven nodded. "The question is if they will tell us."

"Let's just see what we can find out." Mika said optimistically. She set out towards the first bar. By the end of the night Mika was exhausted. They had checked every bar in town and no one had said anything about Zane Rikan. Train was snoring on the seat next to her while Sven drank a cup of coffee. Usually she would tell him that he was shortening his life by drinking the coffee, but she was too tired herself. She was having trouble staying awake herself.

"Excuse me, but I heard you were asking around about Rikan." An elderly man said walking up to them. "The others would all be scared if he found out… But I remember him talking about a girl once…. One who he knew when he was younger. When he was drunk he talked about how he was searching for her to fight her… He never said hair or eye color… But everything else about you fits his description… So I know he won't hate me for telling you where to find him."

"Where can we find him?" Sven asked, frowning. Mika shifted nervously. She didn't remember knowing Rikan before, along with the rest of her childhood memories.

"There is a small hotel he is known to stay in…." The man shifted. "I don't know if he is there now…. But that is where he stays when he is in town."

"Thank you." Eve said getting up. "Let's go."

"Alright." Train said, suddenly awake again. He got up and headed towards the door. "Okay so where is it?"

Sven sighed and got the address from the old man. "Are you coming Mika?"

"Ye-Yeah…" She quickly ran after him.

Sven looked down at her. "We don't have to do this if you don't want to." He touched her shoulder gently.

"No… we need to." She nodded. "Come on." She grabbed his hand. "The others will leave us behind us."

He laughed. "Alright then."

They waited for a few days, but they couldn't find Rikan and he didn't show up. "I brought snacks." Eve said walking up.

"YEAH!" Train smiled. He took the bag of chips from Eve and started chowing down.

"Any troubles?" Mika asked looking over.

"No." Eve said calmly. She sat down. "Nothing, Rikan still hasn't shown up."

"Then I'm going for a walk." Mika got up.

Sven frowned. "Mika…"

"I won't go far." Mika smiled gently. She walked off smiling gently. Sven is so sweet. She glanced off as she walked. She felt tired still, but she just wanted some answers.

"Hey kitty kitty."

Mika spun and found Rikan staring at her. "Zane Rikan!"

"Oh you learned my name!... Or have you remembered our past?" He smiled creepily. "

"I learned it… Tell me how we knew each other…" Mika frowned, tensing up. She didn't trust him, but she wanted to hear what he would say.

"Oh too bad, I was hoping you would remember all our old fights so we could get serious!" He shot forward suddenly and Mika countered, her wings shot out instantly.

"You're learning!" Rikan grinned. "But I've gotten stronger while you've wasted away your potential!"

Mika and Rikan continued to fight for a while. Neither made any headway. Mika was shocked at how strong she was becoming, and how easily her powers came to her now.

"MIKA!" Sven yelled running up. Eve and Train followed him. "RIKAN GET AWAY FROM HER!"

"We're taking you in." Train said holding out his gun. "You can come easily or we'll have to beat you up.

Rikan laughed. "You really think you stand any chance against me! I'm stronger than any man alive! None can beat me!"

Mika frowned and sent another wave of feathers at him angrily. "Don't underestimate us!"

Rikan laughed and charged at Mika. Sven frowned and shot at Rikan, trying to help. Rikan turned quickly and headed towards Sven. He punched and Sven dodged barely, but the aftershock of Rikan's hit sent Sven flying.

"SVEN!" Mika gasped shocked at the same time Eve shot at Rikan, aiming to punch him. Rikan smirked and caught her hair fist and tossed her aside, causing her to crash into Sven. "EVE!"

"I'm not underestimating these weaklings little Kitty." He smirked turning back to Mika. "Now let's get back to our fight Mika. I finally want to kill you!"

"I don't think so!" Train shot another bullet at Rikan, nailing him in the leg.

Rikan flinched and looked at the wound. "Now that hurt!"

"First answer how you know Mika. And then we'll take you in for our reward." Train smirked pointing his gun at Rikan.

Rikan smirked. "I'll answer your question." He looked at Mika. "You don't remember kitten, but we use to fight every day… We never got to finish out fights though… I always wanted to, but we never were able to." He laughed. "We fought so much! I lost count of how many times we fought!"

Train frowned. "What do you mean?" Mika said stepping forward. "Why did we fight?!"

Rikan paused as his phone buzzed suddenly. "Hello…" He answered it, ignoring them. "Naw… Sure I'll be there soon." He hung up his phone. "Sorry Kitten, we'll have to continue this later… I will say this. The others won't be happy to learn you have no memories… And you will come home soon. And then we will have a real fight." He laughed and then was running. He was fast, not as fast as Mika. But Mika was still in confusion from what Rikan had said.

"Yo Sven… Are you okay?" He glanced over as Sven got up slowly.

"Yeah… M…Mika?" Sven walked towards her slowly. She was looking at her feet. "Mika…. I'm alright. So is Eve." He said seeing her tears.

"This time… I don't… I'm sorry Sven." She leaned in and kissed him. "I'll see you again… After I've found the answers I'm looking for."

"Mika." Sven frowned. He didn't want to lose her again.

"Sven…" Mika smiled gently and hugged him. "I can take care of myself… But not you and Eve…. I wouldn't be able to stand it if anything happened to you…. So please let me take care of this myself…" She took off her locket and handed it to him.

"Mika!"

"I'll be back for that." She smiled. "Until then will you hold onto it for me?"

"But!" He frowned.

"Don't worry. I wrote myself a note in my mini notebook. It tells me all about myself, including my love for you." She kissed him again. "Please let me go for now…"

"Alright." He sighed, hugging her tightly. "But please be careful… I couldn't live without you."

Mika smiled as she pulled back. "Train take care of him. Eve keep these two out of trouble."

Eve nodded and Train smiled. "You take care out there Mika… And we'll see you soon."

Mika smiled. Train understood her need to leave. "I won't be gone long hopefully… You keep up with your sweeper work and try to not go broke."

Sven sighed looking at Train. "That will be hard."

"How are you going to get around?" Eve asked. "You don't have a car."

"But I have feet and wings." Mika smiled. "Don't worry. I know what I'm doing…. Good bye." She nodded and turned walking off. I'm sorry Sven… I don't want to leave you… But I know that Rikan won't attack you if I'm not here… And I need to have a battle with him only to get answers… She looked at the paper in her hand. It was Kenji's number. She didn't want to call him right away, it was a last attempt. At least he could give her a clue of where to start if she needed it. But she needed to figure out where Rikan fit into her past before Kenji. Rikan was more dangerous.

She glanced back, but the three sweepers were already out of sight. "I will see you again…. I promise."
