Chapter 14: Shower

Kid was washing himself in the shower, the warm water beating against his body. His longer fingers rubbed the bar of soup through his hair. As he washed himself he hummed a little tune to himself which was not to be heard as the sound of countless drops of water hitting everything silenced it. The water running also did a fair job of of blocking out the sound of the door opening and closing as someone stepped into the bathroom.

Kid didn't realize he wasn't alone until the glass partition of the shower was pushed away and someone stepped in.

"What?" Kid turned around to his surprise.

"Hey Kid." Liz smiled at him pushing closer to him.

Kid's cheeks were tinted red when he noticed that his weapon was as naked as he was. Liz slipped out of her clothes and tossed them to the floor of the bathroom before she stepped into the shower.

Kid quickly tried to do the decent thing and over his little reaper. "L-Liz? What you doing?"

"Oh, come now." Liz said with a teasing tone. "It's nothing I haven't seen already."

Liz and Kid had been dating for a number of months and Kid had discovered that Liz would often do something like this surprising him just to tease him a little.

"I heard the shower going and I thought I'd join you."

The way she stood in front of him like that, the confidence that she radiated when they were together like this could take his breath away. That was what he thought not only made her sexy but beautiful as well. He loved how she felt safe enough with him to be this confident with him. Kid moved towards her and catch his lips with his. Between kissed Liz would let out a playful chuckle. His hands wrapped around her waist and she rested hers around his neck.

They moved their bodies together as the water dripped over them.

"Oh!" They heard that and turned to the now open door.

Patty was there with a shock expression plastered over her face. "..."

"Patty!" They both shouted trying to hide their nakedness with little to no luck.

"I'll just use one of the other bathrooms." Patty closed the door.

The couple sighed only to have the door open again and Patty stomp in. Patty grabbed a yellow rubber ducky that sat on the sink. "I don't want you doing anything naughty in front of Mister Ducky." She left the room again.

Needless to say that ruined the mood.
