Cooro overused his magic against an innocent and defenceless girl like Zira. He fired a cannon ball from his cannon directly into the water that splashed Zira. The water pushed Zira in the soppy water.

Cooro ran at her to help her get out of the water. Cooro was instantly sad about what he did and wanted to make it up to her. He grabbed ahold of Zira's hand and pulled her out of the water. She coughed in the water but was completely fine.

" I'm so sorry. I just got a little careless and that makes me do stupid things and I know you are mad but I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me—"

Cooro didn't see a frown on Zira's face. There was a smile followed by a laugh. Cooro should count himself lucky that Zira wasn't mad at him. But her laughing was also a sign she enjoyed pain.

" You have a funny way of seducing a girl," Zira giggled at Cooro's confused face. He couldn't understand her. " You can use magic?"

" Yes. I am a member of Fairy Tail. Everyone there has something that makes them special, and mine is firing cannons."

" Don't forget the handsome beast inside you," Kanellos said in Cooro's mind. " Am I right, Zira?"

" She can't understand you."

" Can you do any other kinds of magic?" Zira asked.

" Not really. The only thing I can do is fire cannonballs from my arms."

" Do you get into a lot of fights with these powers? Cooro didn't know why Zira was so interested in his life of fighting and his magic. Should he tell her anymore? He didn't see the harm in giving her information.

" Sometimes. Before I had these powers I fought a guy dressed like a mummy. He truly had bandages covering his whole body. After I had these powers I fought a man turning his hair into a drill, a girl with a hot head and laser beams, an enemy who became a friend named Sano, a few other equally as wacky as the last, but the most dangerous was a princess. It's a good thing I'm smart or I would be defeated by them."

" How smart are you?"

" I don't think there's a way of measuring how smart someone is, but I know everything about the human brain including how it works. That's always been what I believed. If I do things because I need to than it makes me smart. If I do what other people tell me when they have no idea what's good for me, that makes me stupid."

Zira stood silent for a brief moment looking at Cooro and listening to everything he was telling her. Cooro thought he had her complete attention and she was listening to him, but she splashed water at his shirt. She ran into the water and splashed around.

" Come and splash in the water with me."Cooro was soppy wet with water in his shirt. He didn't want to go to Zira knowing she was going to splash him again. He didn't even want to have fun. " Am I good company or bad company?"

Cooro was never invited to have fun with anyone anywhere. For once he didn't feel like a social outcast and more of a person who was invited to have fun. Cooro walked towards Zira like she wanted.

" Good boy. No magic, okay?"

Cooro and Zira continued having fun in this small pond. What Cooro didn't know was the same person back in the woods was still watching him from the woods. He didn't watch Cooro because he liked him. He watched him for the opposite reasons.

" Trying to keep your girlfriend happy for what's to happen? You have nothing to do with this, but if you hold onto her much longer there will be trouble. You hindrance and your magic seal."

Lola was walking in the woods past the gate of the guard she beat up. The guard was trying to hide something and her detective instincts wanted to know the truth. Lola's search brought her to a cave with an ape face on it. Lola walked inside the cave through a darkly lit corridor.

" Their keeping a secret and its more than a flood. It's up to one of Fairy Tails finest to unravel this mystery."

" Hey Lola."

Lola jumped, surprised by the noise. That person was someone who enjoyed scaring others and at the same time couldn't stop themselves from being annoying. Lola turned around, and sure enough it was April and Kokat whom were following her. When did they get here?

" April? Kokat? What are you doing here? I thought you were sleeping?"

" We heard your little argument, and all that sand piled in one place, and we thought you could use our help," April said. Lola flinched. They could really hear her from that? Lola shrugged it off and turned away from April and Kokat.

" I need your help like I need chipmunks crawling in my house. This is my adventure. You can't follow me everywhere I go."

Lola took two steps forward, April and Kokat took two steps forward. Lola took one step forward, April and Kokat took one steps forward. Lola used her earth powers to create a wall of sand guarding her. April and Kokat broke through the sand wall with just their fists.

" Double Sand Pike!"

Lola used her earth powers to create two sand attacks through the wall. April and Kokat fell on the opposite side of the wall and Lola walked away.

" Don't follow me! I will find the people who think they are tough and stop them myself."

Lola was smart but reckless. Her tendencies were that of a pre-schooler unable to share a bite of her cookie at recess. April and Kokat sweat dropped on the other side of the wall.

" She's strong but she doesn't listen to anyone," Kokat said.

" Maybe she just needs someone to like her," April said.

" Maybe."
