Urahara's Shop

"Ugh… What the hell happened" said Ichigo as he got back up in the same room he was in the last time he knocked out. He placed his hand on his head to relieve the massive headache. "AH!" exclaimed Ichigo as he looked at his hand. He ran up to the mirror that was conspicuously in the room.

Ichigo's House

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Isshin looked up and simply laughed. "I think my son finally woke up."

Urahara laughed and agreed with him. "How long do you think it is going to take him to get used to the change?"

"I don't know but we better head over to your shop."

Urahara's Shop

"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO ME!?" Ichigo screeched.

In the mirror what Ichigo expected to see clashed quite heavily with what he actually saw. The awakening that he had changed quite a few things about him. His skin was no longer skin it was a layers of a black metallic scales that constantly changed their shape to how Ichigo moved like a machine, in some places the scales seemed to form armor. He had clawed hands and feet. His eyes were a weird color that seemed to be both red and green. His head was no longer human as it was now draconic in nature. He had a tail now too, that looked like it belonged to Satan's personal pet stegosaurus. Yet despite all this he still had orange hair though it seemed to flow from where there was a gap in his scales as if he was in his vasto lorde form though not as long.

Holy description Batman! … This is a reference before many of your times isn't it?

"Well King I must say it is about time you woke your ass up." mocked Dratana in his head.

"Dratana! What the hell happened to me?"

"You are going to need to come into your inner world when you can but for now there are a few people you need to talk to."

"Huh? Boof!" Ichigo said as he was knocked on his butt by a white blur. A slobbering crying white blur.

"I-I-I-Ichi-Ichigo! You are alright! WAHHHHH!" cried Akumi into Ichigo's … Hmm… I wonder if he realizes he is technically naked?

"Akumi! Are you alright? Did that bastard hurt you?" said Ichigo as he grabbed her away from him. Eww… There was a mucus trail connecting them and Akumi was a wet mess.

"BIG BROTHER!"

"BAM!"

So that was the story of how the tower of Ichigo fell over and toppled like a cheap set of Jenga bricks. "Ow… What the hell is wrong with everyone?" Moaned Ichigo from underneath the pile of crying woman.

"You mean you don't know Ichigo?" asked Karen from the doorway. She walked up to the pie and pulled out her sister. "You have been out for a long time."

"What? How long was I out for?"

Akumi stopped crying and answered for Karen. "You have been out for a month. I just woke up myself yesterday."

"Well I do believe my hypothesis was correct. With the Queen awake the King would soon follow." said the clown face captain from the doorway.

"Captain Kurotsuchi? What are you doing here?" asked Ichigo.

"The same reason why we are all here, Ichigo." said Byakuya as he walked in with Ukitake.

"What is going on?" Ichigo asked as he saw the tired and grave looks on their faces.

"We are at war. Though it may be better to discuss everything in the training room. We will wait for you there when you are ready. Urahara has already discussed what has happened to the others. He will talk to you soon as well." Ukitake answered.

"I would suggest resting however, despite your new form you have been in a comatose state for a long time. I would suggest you restrain yourself from too much physical stress. But for now I must get back to my research I still have samples that collected from you to study" said clown face as he left.

"I don't want to know do I?" asked Ichigo. The Captains nodded in confirmation. "I need to lie back down now." said Ichigo as felt light headed. Akumi and Yuzu helped him get back into his futon.

"If you will excuse us we need to head back to our quarters it has been a long day." Said Byakuya as he and Ukitake left.

"A month? Have we really been out for a month?" Ichigo asked in shock as everything has been catching up to him.

"I haven't left the store to go and check but according to everyone, yes. For some reason though everyone keeps calling me queen." replied Akumi.

"They were telling the truth Ichigo. It has been a chaotic month since your battle with Aizen." added Karen.

"Aizen… That bastard… He used me. He used everyone. He told me the truth behind his plans." Ichigo growled.

"What did he tell you Ichi-nii?" asked Yuzu.

"He told me why he did all the evil things he did. To protect… you." Ichigo pointed to Akumi.

"What?! WHY?!" she asked in surprise.

"He told me that you were his daughter Akumi. That I had to protect you because the Soul King wanted to kill you." He replied.

"That's impossible! I'm human. Also wasn't he doing this for hundreds of years? I'm only in my twenties!" exclaimed Akumi.

"That is technically not true." interrupted Urahara as he walked into the room.

"Urahara?" asked Ichigo.

"I suppose that it is time I tell you the truth… about Sosuke… about Akumi… about everything. I would suggest sitting down this is a long story." said Urahara.

Flashback 500 years ago- Throne Room, Royal Palace

"WHAT!?" a young Aizen screamed in front of the Royal Court. He was in front of the Soul King and other advisors that were assembled here for the current issue. They all wore hoods save for the king and Aizen.

"It has been decided brother. We cannot allow her to live as she may remember her past life." said the Soul King.

"She is your niece! I just lost my wife now you tell me I have to let my daughter die too?!" yelled Aizen in outrage.

"She is the reincarnation of the Black Moon Demon Queen! She will bring nothing but destruction to us! I refuse to allow those two to make a mockery of my royal court by allowing her to live in my royal court!" argued back the Soul King.

"Brother if I may." A man that stood beside the king interrupted. He took off his hood to reveal Urahara.

"Yes Urahara? What do you wish to say?" asked the king.

"It has been recently reported that the current reincarnation of the Twilight Sun Dragon King died not too long ago. It would take many years for him to come back. Why would we need to kill our niece?" Urahara said in reason.

"I take no pleasure in this decision either Urahara but my decision is final. If we let her live it would bring nothing but destruction. Sooner or later she will find out her heritage and it will bring nothing but destruction." He argued back.

"Brother please see reason." Aizen tried.

"I SAID MY DECISION IS FINAL! You are being blinded by the fact you are so close to this Sosuke. YOU need to see reason. I will give you to the end of the week to say your goodbyes." The king yelled back before he left and went to his chambers. Everyone besides Aizen and Urahara left the room.

"Sosuke… what are you going to do?" Urahara asked his brother. Yes if you didn't get it from the many hints I dropped all through the story Aizen is Urahara's brother. Also they are the younger brothers of the Soul King. How? Deux ex machina my dear readers. Deux ex machina. The Soul King had asked his master for brothers before he betrayed him. So were born Urahara and Aizen.

"This is my daughter Urahara. I can't just let her die because of some stupid feud our brother had so many millennia ago." Aizen argued.

"What are you willing to give up to protect her?" asked Urahara.

"What do you have in mind?" Aizen knew his brother was just as crafty as he was.

"You will have to give up your current life and have to keep your daughter in stasis for a long time."

"Will she live?" asked Aizen.

"That depends on how much you trust in the Dragon King's power."

End Flashback

"I faked our deaths and changed out identities after we laid low for a while. All the time we had Akumi in stasis so that she would not age. The first time the Dragon king resurrected we sepperated his powers and sent them to another dimension. Your Pokemon friends were the manifestation of that power. Then Aizen however went rouge and did horrible experiments to make sure that the Dragon King would have the perfect vessel. I am sure you know the story from there. But then you were born Ichigo. You were the perfect mistake that Aizen or I could ever hope for. The perfect mix of Soul Reaper, Quincy, Hollow and Human. You were the vessel necessary for the Dragon King's resurrection. You were the one we needed to protect Akumi. So I released Akumi frim stasis and placed in the family she was in. I'm sure you can guess the rest."

"… I honestly don't know what to say. Has my whole life been nothing but a lie? Akumi? Are you ok?" said Ichigo in shock.

"I probably feel the same you do at the moment." Akumi replied in the same shock.

"I know it is a lot to process so I will let you be for now. Also Isshin and Yoruichi have already properly punished me if you feel any better." Urahara said as he left the room.

"Big Brother? Are you ok?" asked Yuzu in concern.

"C'mon Yuzu these two probably need some space. Remember Ichigo we are always here for you. We are family." Karen said as she led Yuzu out of the room.

It was one of those great oppressive silences. You know the ones where two people really need to talk but they just don't know where to start.

"I…" Ichigo tried to start.

"Not now Ichigo. We both need time before we talk. For now though. Happy six month anniversary Ichigo." Interrupted Akumi before she kissed him. For now all the two lovers did was just bask in each other's presence.

AN:/ Uh… hello everyone I apologize for the long wait. Writer's block is a challenging thing. So im sure you are wondering wtf with that last minute thing but that will be part of the oneshots I mentioned awhile back. So who was expecting the whole Urahara thing? Or was I too obvious with my hints? Oh yes. To those interested I have another fanfic up for final fantasy 7 in honor of the remake. Oh and finally to Aramus13 Thank you for the reviews you motivated me enough to finally finish the chapter. Quick question though. What were you talking about sephiroth? To others please review like I said it motivated me more through the difficult chapters.
