Hello readers! It is I, the elusive author of this story who is so sorry for the false start once more for those of you that thought this was a real update, but I promise this is the last update I will make that does not include a new chapter! I am so sorry that my hiatus for this story was so long, life got way too real and I got sucked into the deep, dark hole that is johnlock. I no longer have a soul, it resides in equal parts in 221B Baker Street and Tumblr. Anyways, I think that I've finally regained a bit of the spark that I needed to bring myself back to this fic. I realized that I didn't much like the direction that this fic was taking (I didn't think it out very well the first time round), so I've decided to go back to the beginning. I have begun systematically rewriting each chapter. So far I have made it up to chapter 5, and will hopefully continue semi regularly. For the sake of this story, I am actually kind of grateful for my long break, and I hope you will be too, because I think that my writing has greatly improved in the time I have been away. Check regularly for redone chapters! I may even completely change the plot arc, so keep this story in your thoughts and check it regularly.
