Slowly opening her eyes, Shiori yawned. Once her eyes were open, she smiled when the arm around her tightened. Looking around she blinked when she realized that they were back in the den now. She didn't remember coming back here.

"I am not moving yet so neither are you. Go back to sleep."

Smiling as she rolled in his arms, Shiori looked up at Koga, his eyes were still closed and his hair was still loose and free. "Koga please. You should know by now that when my eyes open I am up." Then she giggled when he cracked one eye with a glare as he growled. "You will get used to it I am sure."

Reluctantly he moved his arm and let her sit up. Watching her from where he lay, Koga couldn't help but smile. There was a few cracks that shined light into his part of the den. One being a perfect back drop for her as she put her hair up. Then the memories of the night before flooded him. He was mated. Finally.

Sitting up and moving around behind her, he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her onto his lap. "Are you alright?"

Smiling as he kissed the side of her head, Shiori nodded. "I am just fine. Why?"

Laughing as he kissed her neck making her shiver, Koga smiled. "Last night."

Taking a deep breath, Shiori shook her head. "I am fine. I am a tad sore this morning. But nothing horrible."

"That's good." Koga then reached up and turned her face toward his and kissed her. Letting go of her fully then he stretched his arms up and then fell backwards. "That is really good. That was the last thing I wanted to do was hurt you last night."

Moving off of his lap, Shiori laughed. "Well you didn't. But when did we get back here?" Her face flushing red, she dropped her head and hid her eyes with her bangs. "I don't even remember getting dressed."

Sitting up and kissing her, Koga then stood as he pulled his hair back up. "I dressed you after you passed out. I wasn't about to sleep outside with you, so I brought you home." He then reached out and helped her to stand as he pulled her to him. "Where you are concerned, I will take no chances at all. Especially with Ichiro out there."

"Koga."

Turning to the door that kept his den private, Koga blinked. "Come in Hakaku what is it?"

Walking in, along with Ginata, Hakaku wasn't exactly sure how Koga was going to take this. "Well um Koga. I know you really don't want to hear this right now with this being your first morning after mating. But um…..well…."

Growling, Koga glared. "Just spit it out already will ya?"

Stepping up, Ginta sighed. "Everyone woke up a little while ago outside the den. Reijiro and Yori aren't happy about how things have happened. They talked about ten others into it, and they left the pack. Most of them told them that they were stupid and went back to sleep, but a few left."

His grip on Shiori's waist tightening, Koga narrowed his eyes. They were Ichiro's parents. "What were they saying?"

Stepping through the door as well, Kiara sighed. "I was one Yori tried to get to go with her. They were saying the same basic things that Ichiro said. But added in that now that you mated a half bat, that there is that chance that a bat could be the next leader of the pack, and not a wolf. They said such cruel things about her."

Growling as his eyes had a slight bleed in them, Koga kept a hold of Shiori. "Fine. They aren't pack anymore. Ginta I want you to spread the word to the human villages that are under my protection about what happened. Tell them that we had some split off because they didn't like the rules and to be on alert. That way they also know it isn't us and won't blame us for something those that stayed and faithful to me wouldn't do."

"Right Koga."

Once they left, Shiori looked up at Koga with worried eyes. "Koga what is going to happen now?"

Reaching up and running the back of his fingers down her face, Koga smiled into her pink eyes. "Those that left know how I defend what is mine. That includes my territory and they will leave it. So long as they stay out of it I don't really care what they do. If I knew where Ichiro was I would rip his head off. But the rest are free to leave whenever they wish. Right now, we are going to go get some food, and then you get to start your training today."

Blinking as she looked to the side at the bag of scrolls they found Shiori laughed. "I almost forgot about that. I don't even know where to start with them though."

Moving away from her and taking the bag, Koga laughed. "Don't worry about it. We will figure that out as we go." He then looked over at Kiara and blinked. "Hey, Kiara do you wanna come and help with her training for a while?"

Laughing, Kiara nodded. "Sure thing. Could be fun."

Watching from the portal, both Kou and Tsukuyomaru couldn't help but smile as they watched their children. Looking over at the bat next to him, Kou sighed. "I never imagined my pup mating with a half bat. But I can't say that I am displeased with the way they are with each other."

"Indeed." His eyes focused on the shine that was once again in his daughter's eyes, Tsukuyomaru smiled as he relaxed his body. She was mated to him and now would be safe from Ichiro and everything else. "She is safe. That is all that I care about. The possibility of her passing down the ability to use wind or barriers to a wolf pup are good as well. But she will birth full demon children."

Turning back to the kids, Kou sighed. "Even if she had a child that was born human, and then fifty more that were half demon, Koga wouldn't care at all. He would forever talk about his first born that was a human because of the human in his mate and be proud of it." But then he glared as he waved his hand and the portal showed them Ichiro. "He is the one that I am starting to get concerned about."

"Concerned?" Turning to give the wolf a worried look, Tsukuyomaru blinked. "What about him has you concerned?"

"The fact that his rage at Koga and Shiori has his energy to the same level of Koga." Looking over at the bag, Kou sighed as he turned to walk away. "That was why Koumori and I stepped in to help push Koga when we did. Fighting a mating makes them angry, but like you said, defending a mate is even more so. He would have still been fighting it. That was the edge he will need in the fight. But it is going to be a bloody one I know that."

"Wait Kou aren't they a part of Koga's pack?" Turning back to the portal, Tsukuyomaru glared as he fisted his hands. More wolves were walking up to him. The only thing that he didn't like about the portal was they couldn't hear what was going on.

Going back, Kou nodded. "Yes they are. They are Ichiro's parents and a few others with their underlings. What in the hell are they doing there? They stayed behind when Koga kicked Ichiro out of the tribe."

"This could be bad Kou. But we don't have anymore passes to go and talk to Koga and Shiori." Fisting his hands, Tsukuyomaru growled himself. Just when he had his daughter's life set and happy, something has to happen to throw it for a loop.

"I have one more. I can use it for both of them and let Koga know what is going on. Also send a message from you Tsukuyomaru if you would like."

Turning to see Koumori walking toward them, Tsukuyomaru blinked. "You do?"

"I do." Smiling Koumori kept his hands inside his clothes. "Once he knows what is going on with Ichiro and his parents the rest of his tribe will have his back and they will no longer be a problem because they can plan for it. Is there something that you wish for me to tell your children for the two of you?"
