"So..." The Sharpedo with sunglasses said, "Do you like to have fun?" Mawile nods, "I just want to have fun with Cranidos now." Sharpedo looks at the sleeping Cranidos and back at Mawile, "Him? You wouldn't convince that Pokémon into the water, he's a rock type and you know what rock types don't like."

Mawile puts a finger on her chin, "Well... he did come out here but when I knocked him into the water, he went back to the shores." Sharpedo nods, "Ok. So..." Just then three Carvanas popped out of the water and says to their boss, "We're hungry!" Sharpedo replies, "Ok... so... once in a while I have to go out and hunt for my food."

Sharpedo looks both ways with Mawile having a confused look on her face, "You're the closest so we gotta hunt you down and... you get the idea." Mawile screams while the Carvanas drag her down underwater.

Cranidos opens one of his eyes and says, "It's probably nothing." And goes back to sleep. Mawile struggles to go back to the surface and the times she does she call out for Cranidos continuously. Soon enough it got on Cranidos to yell at Mawile, "WHAT DO YOU WANT, MA-" He notices what's going on as Carvanas hold her down while Sharpedo gets ready to strike.

Cranidos with a confident and angry at the same time face grabs his shoddy surfboard and paddles for Mawile. Sharpedo notices Cranidos, "Ah, two dinner meals. Perfect." Cranidos replies, "You stay away from my girlfriend, sharky!" The Carvanas attempts to bite Cranidos' board and Cranidos headbutts them away.

Mawile gets worried for Cranidos' safety as usual, "Be careful!" Cranidos looks at her, "I know what I'm doing!" A Carvana knocks him off the board and into the water and he sinks. Mawile gasps and she gets angry, "All I want is a peaceful day with Cranidos without some hostile Pokémon getting in our way! Is that too much to ask?"

Her megastone pendant starts glowing and she turns into Mega Mawile. She dives in the water for Cranidos and comes back out with him unconscious. She gets extra pissed off and she grabs a Carvana with her massive jaws and throws it at the other Pokémon with great force. Sharpedo sweatdrops and says, "OK... I'll leave you guys alone..."

He swims away. Mega Mawile transforms back and brings Cranidos back to the shores and attempts to revive him. She attempts CPR and performs mouth to mouth resuscitation. Cranidos coughs up water and wakes up.

Mawile is glad Cranidos is ok, "I'm so glad you're alive! I wouldn't know what would happen if you didn't make it!" She strokes one of her ear-like extensions. Cranidos sighs, "And yet again, you saved me. Why can't I save you for once?"

Mawile replies, "Well... you saved me when we met." Cranidos nods, "Yeah, but that was nothing." Mawile shakes her head, "No, it wasn't, you hear me! It's what made me fall in love with you. You cared about me. The most important thing is that you were concerned for me."

Cranidos looks down, "I guess so." He looked pretty upset, Mawile tries to comfort them, "There, there Cranny. What can your girlfriend do for you?" Cranidos thought about it for a second. "Well... how about you spar with me so I could get my fighting skill up?"

Mawile winks at him, "It's a done deal!" Cyndaquil and Audino looks over, Cranidos nods confidently. Audino didn't want any fighting so she stepped over, "No! Absolutely not! I will not have any fighting of the sort here!"

Cranidos sighs, "You're a killjoy. Now what could we do?" Mawile looks around and sees a volleyball court, "Hey! Let's play volleyball!" Audino smiles, "Good idea!" Cranidos replies, "Ok... but let's have it boys versus girls. Come on Cyndaquil!"

Nidorino and Nidorina looks at each other, "Does that mean we have to be against each other?" Cranidos looks at them, "Not a problem, is it?" The two shake their heads.

Cranidos nods, "Good!" The six of them get ready, Mawile was serving the ball first, "Ready? Go!" She does a high jump and then hits the ball and launches it towards the boys. Cyndaquil flinched from the sight of the ball, Cranidos rolls his eyes in response and says to Nidorino, "By the way... don't pop the ball with your horn."

Nidorino nods. Cranidos jumps as high as he can and headbutts the ball towards the girls and Mawile jumps up and smacks it as hard as she can with the top of her jaws and it flies towards the guys with a lot of velocity.

Nidorino gets ready and smacks the ball really hard back with his tail and smacks Mawile in the head. Cranidos got upset, "You're also not supposed to knock them out, either!" The ball was about to land and Mawile angrily smacked it back at Nidorino and it landed right and front of him and kicked up alot of sand making him miss.

The first point goes to the gals. The three of them cheered as the guys were dazed. Cranidos isn't giving up and says, "You aren't going to win this time!" Mawile looks at him and smiles boldly, "Oh? Is that so, my sweet? You should know better than to challenge me to anything. I might be a lover but I'm also a fighter, and I never back down!"

Cranidos replies, "Well! I'm a fighter and I'm not letting you trick me again!" Audino gets ready to serve. Mawile giggles, "I can always decieve anyone because of my charms!" Cranidos pretends to ignore this comment and gets ready to hit the ball. Audino throws the ball up and hits it towards the guys.

Cranidos shouts to Cyndaquil, "Do whatever you can to hit the ball to them." Audino says to Cyndaquil, "If you let us win, I'll make you something good!" Cyndaquil nods and then Cranidos smacks him, "No! Don't trust neither of them! On the volleyball court, we're not friends!"

The ball lands on the guys' side while Cranidos was talking and the gals got the point. Cranidos facepalmed, "I should have known." It was Nidorina's turn to serve, Nidorino panicked, "I can't betray my love! We do everything together!" Cranidos replies, "Well... it's time like this when you have to do what I do, not give a damn!"

Nidorina hits the ball towards them and Cranidos headbutts the ball towards them back and Nidorina headbutts it back to them but only harder, Nidorino jumps at the ball and spikes the ball down with his tail.

Cranidos cheered, "We got a point! Yeah!" Mawile crosses her arms, "We still got two. Ok, Cyndaquil, give it all you got." Cyndaquil was handed the ball to and he gets nervous. "Um... ok." Mawile says to him, "What are you waiting for?" Cyndaquil sweatdropped as it made him more tense.

Cranidos yells, "Throw the ball!" Cyndaquil instinctly flamewheeled at the net and the girls got out-of-the-way in time and he charred the net. Mawile cheered, "He threw the game for you! We won!" Cranidos punches the ground in anger, "NO!" Nidorina says, "Let's go celebrate with frozen yogurt!" The girls leave and Cranidos goes to Cyndaquil, "We could have had it! What were you thinking?!" Cyndaquil apologizes, "I'm sorry! I got under pressure and reacted instinctly."

Cranidos groans and facepalmed, "You... are a screwup." Cyndaquil lowers his head in shame, "Oh." Nidorino tells Cranidos, "Don't be hard on him. He's just acting how his kind usually acts." Cranidos snickers, "Some kind he is. How do you survive in the wild like that?"

Nidorino replies, "They rely on their instinct and if danger lurks, they respond to using smokescreen to escape or flame their opponent's eyes and run off as fast as they can."

Cranidos tells him, "Well, they need to learn how to fight!" The girls come back with their frozen yogurt. Cranidos immediately turns sour, Mawile notices this, "Are you still upset that you lost?" Cranidos yells, "It's all Cyndaquil's fault! I knew I shouldn't let you serve!"

Mawile replies, "Maybe you shouldn't be so hard on him." Cranidos yells more, "He should know what to do!" Cyndaquil replies, "You shouldn't yell at me." Cranidos growls, "It was because of you that we lost!" Someone else replies, "Maybe you shouldn't be so serious about a girly game?" Cranidos turns around and it was Croconaw.

Cranidos crosses his arms, "What do you know about volleyball?" Croconaw snickers, "That only girls play it. And why play the human's game when we got battling to do?" Audino replies, "Because it's causes hurt towards others."

Croconaw replies, "And this doesn't? I've seen girls play and it can get brutal. Oh boy can it get brutal..." Audino thinks for a moment, "Ok... but please be careful."

Cranidos has a devious grin, "Perfect... now allow me to dominate!" Mawile notices something off with Cranidos. "Cranidos... are you feeling alright?" Cranidos nods, "I feel great! Now that I can finally show you I have improved."

Cranidos is ready to charge, "Ready, Mawile?" Mawile nods, "Alright? Now if I hurt you too much, tell me and we'll stop." Cranidos nods, "Same with you."

Cranidos charges towards Mawile and she dodges gracefully, "You can't just attack without planning ahead. That attack was too obvious." Cranidos replies, "Don't tell me how I battle!" Cranidos tries headbutting again and Mawile dodges again, "OK... but don't say I didn't warn you."

Cranidos charges again but this time Mawile grabs Cranidos with her jaws, "Sorry about this, Cranny." She puts him in her jaws, but then she feels something going on inside them. Cranidos is pounding on her tongue and the roof of her jaws with his head.

This was actually uncomfortable for Mawile, "What are you doing?" Cranidos prepares a zen headbutt and it caused a lot of pain for Mawile and she spits Cranidos out and rubs her sore jaws, "Ow..." Cranidos then charges at Mawile with full force.

She gets launched far out into sea. Cranidos noticed what he did, "Whoa." The others were stunned, too. Croconaw says, "Yep... she's a goner. Well you gotta find another girlfriend, Cranidos."

Cranidos got upset, "This is serious! I don't want anything bad happen to her! I'm coming for her!" Cranidos charges towards the water but then suddenly stops when he approaches it.

Croconaw snickers, "Want me to go after your girl, Cray?" Cranidos charges at Croconaw in the opposite direction of Mawile and launches him far off, "You deserved that one! OK..." He turns back to the sea and steps his foot into it.

Cranidos stepped back from the water, Nidorino encourages him, "It's for your girlfriend!" Cranidos imagines every horrible thing that could happen to her and that got him determined, he jumps into the water and kicks his strong legs as fast as he can so he doesn't sink. Surprisingly... he doesn't.

Cranidos is surprised that he isn't sinking, he continues on and soon enough, he sees Mawile in the middle of the ocean. Mawile notices him and gives him a slight smile.

Cranidos stops himself and then sinks in the water but tries desperately to keep himself afloat. Cranidos says to Mawile, "I'm sorry I launched you into the water!" Mawile nods, "I forgive you... if you let me put you in my jaws." Cranidos nods and Mawile slurps him up in her jaws.

They go back to shore safe and sound. With Mawile panting from exaustion. The other Pokémon goes up to her, "Are you ok, hun?" Audino says to her. Mawile nods, "I'm ok. I just hope Cranidos is ok as well." Cranidos started to tickle Mawile from the inside and she giggles, "S-stop that... I'm ticklish!"

This eventually causes Mawile to drop Cranidos out. Mawile turns to Cranidos, "Why did you do that?" Cranidos in response started to hug her so tight but not too tight. "I'm glad that you're alright, Mawile. I don't know what I'd do if you weren't. We must look out for each other. I know that now."

Mawile could sense how passionate Cranidos is now and it made her smile, "I'm glad, too. I know that you're strong enough to look out for me and I'm strong enough to look out for you. This is what makes us unseperatable."

Cranidos holds Mawile's hands, "Thank you for being in my life." Mawile nods, "Same with you. You really are the most important part of my life. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else but with you."

Mawile leans in for a kiss and wraps her jaws around Cranidos and kisses him passionately. Croconaw quietly gags as Cranidos and Mawile kiss. Luckily no one heard that so he didn't get smacked.

With the exception of Audino due to her super sensitive ears but she didn't smack him, but just glanced at him with a frown. Cranidos and Mawile stops kissing, Mawile looks at Cranidos with joyousness while rocking back and forth with her hands behind her.

Cranidos just gives a slight smile, Nidorino then comes closer and then says, "So... when do you guys get married?" Mawile gasps happily, "Cranidos! Let's go get married! Come on!" Cranidos gives an unsure face and then says, "Err... right now? Are you sure?"

Mawile nods vigorously and says, "I have been waiting for this moment ever since I fell in love with you! Please oh please propose to me!" Cranidos sighs, "I don't know..."

Mawile's heart sank a bit but then realised, "Oh! I forgot! With our kind, the females proposed first so I can keep asking and asking until you say yes!"

Cranidos has an annoyed look on his face, "..." But then thought of something, "What about engagement rings?" Mawile nods, "I got that covered! I have a family heirloom that's meant for me to propose with. I'll go get it!" She runs off in a hurry.

With nothing else for Cranidos to do, he decides to get Mawile an engagement ring as well. Will he succeed or will he not? Find out next time!
