Thanks to all those who review and continue to read this story. I have the next 10 chapters written, so I'll be updating twice a week from now on.
I've also gotten quite a few requests to focus more on Letty and Dom's relationship. Although I initially started this fiction with the intent of writing for Brian and Mia, I'm a Dotty fan too so I promise they have a lot more coming up...probably even more excitement than Brian and Mia.
Letty stood in front of the long mirror in her bedroom. It had been about a month since she had moved in with the Toretto's and life was going smoothly. She took over doing the paperwork for the garage from Mia and she also spent a lot of time at home with Aiden.
She ran a hand over her belly and turned from side to side. Dressed in a long t-shirt that reached mid-thigh, she tried to imagine what her body would transform into in the coming months. The morning sickness has started to subside and she was starting to feel more like herself again.
Taking one of Aiden's inflatable beach balls, she put it under her shirt. Now her stomach area was large and round and the sigh slightly frightened her. This was her fate.
Unbeknownst to her, Dom stood by her door with his arms crossed and witnessed the entire thing. "Well that was fast," he jokes as he made his presence known. "I thought it took nine months for you to be that big."
She jumped at the sound of his voice. "Jesus. Why are you spying on me?"
"I wasn't," he defended himself. "You left the door open." He then put his hands on either side of her fake belly and smiled. "Crazy isn't it? There's a baby in here."
"A baby in where?" Aiden asked as he entered the room. Dom instantly retracted his hands and Letty pushed the ball to the ground. "Is Letty having a baby?"
"Uhhh," the female mechanic stuttered, looking to Dom for answers. This conversation was bound to happen, but she had hoped it was prepared for and not spur of the moment. "MIA!"

Brian was in the kitchen on the phone when he saw Dom, Letty, and Aiden rush in. "Okay great. I'll be right over to get the keys." He hung up and looked at them. "What's up guys?"
"Letty's having a baby!" Aiden exclaimed in delight.
"MIA!" Letty shouted again. "We need you in here."
"Aiden, there are some things we need to explain to you," Dom attempted, knowing that Mia's presence was needed for this conversation.
"MIA!" Letty called out one last time, before the brunette appeared.
"WHAT!?" Mia demanded upon seeing all of them. She had been in the shower and her body was still dripping with water. Hastily, she had thrown on a bathrobe when she heard yelling. "What's the problem?" She was so afraid that something was wrong that she didn't notice Brian's eyes on her.
"Aunt Letty's going to have a baby!" Aiden repeated, causing the four adults in the room to groan.
"Who told him?" Mia asked, pointing her finger between Dom and Letty. "I thought we were going to do it together!"
"So its true?" Aiden jumped for joy. "This is awesome!"
"Okay time out!" Dom's booming voice stated in order to diffuse the chaos. "Everyone in the living room now!"
"Aye Aye Captain!" Letty mocked as she saluted and turned to the opposite side of the house. Aiden followed her.
Dom faced Mia and shook his head in exhaustion. "Your kid is a handful."
"He gets it from his uncle," she refuted with a laugh. "Give me two minutes to change and I'll be right there."
The eldest Toretto nodded, quickly glancing between Brian and Mia before leaving.
"Well that was fun," Brian chuckled, his eyes never leaving Mia
"Yup," she agreed, tightening the belt on her robe and suddenly becoming aware of her appearance. "Never a dull moment at the Toretto household. Are you going to stay to watch the fireworks?"
"I would love to," said Brian, going to stand in front of her. "But I have some things to deal with today. Let me know how it goes?"
"Of course."
He nodded in satisfaction. "Good luck," he said, pressing a chaste kiss to her lips before walking out the backdoor. He turned around one last time. "Oh and Mia?"
"Yeah?" she acknowledged, crossing one arm over her chest and using the other to fix her hair.
"You look beautiful."

"So Uncle Dom and Aunt Letty are friends who are going to have a baby together?" Aiden said, trying to understand what his three role models were trying to tell him.
"Yes baby," Mia said. He was sitting on her lap and she was pushing his hair back. It was overdue to be cut. "Letty and the baby are going to live with us. You're going to have a cousin very soon."
"Cool!" Aiden smiled. "Is it going to be a boy or a girl?"
Letty shrugged. "We're not sure yet. What do you want it to be?"
"It doesn't matter," the boy insisted. "As long as we can play tag together, I don't care."
"You might have to wait a few years for that, but I know you're going to be the best big cousin ever." Letty smiled at her best friend's son. Aiden was such a good kid that she'd be happy if her own child was just half as great as him.
"I'll try!" he said.
"Anything else you want us to clear up buddy?" Dom asked, silently praying that his nephew's question would not led to the sex talk.
"There is one thing I won't understand…"
"What is it?"
"If you and Aunt Letty can be friends and have a baby together, does that mean mommy and Brian will have a baby together to?"
Dom was wrong. Discussing sex would have been a lot easier than this.

"Brian!" Grace's eyes lit up when she saw her son. "How are you?"
"Hi Mom," he greeted, walking further into her room.
"Hi Brian!" Sarah interrupted. He hadn't even noticed her working on changing the IV.
He smiled politely in return.
"How are you doing? Looks like all those injuries are healed up," the nurse commented as she observed him with desire.
"Yeah, thanks to Mia," Brian said, knowing what Sarah's intentions were. "Thanks for calling her the day of the accident. She was exactly who I needed."
"No problem," Sarah shrugged, oblivious to his dismissal. "Mia's a great nurse. So…are you free later tonight? I'll let you buy me a drink for my good deed."
Brian snickered. "I have plans. And I really need to talk to my mom…so if you could…leave."
"Oh," she finally caught on, anger evident in her tone. "Okay. Fine." She exited the room and slammed the door shut more forcefully that necessary. Taking a few deep breaths, she pulled her phone out her scrub pockets and dialed a familiar number. "This is getting hopeless!" she seethed. "Brian is far too up Mia's ass to notice me. If you want things done according to the plan, you figure out a way to keep them apart…and soon!"
Inside the room, Brian took a seat beside his mom. "Have the doctors given you an update?"
Grace nodded. "They think I'll be released any day now. My body has handled this round of chemo really well."
"Good," Brian nodded. "So did Dad tell you what happened to me?"
"He mentioned that you fell…"
"He pushed me down a flight of stairs," Brian corrected her. "He was fighting with me about Mia and things got violent, like they always seem to do."
"Bri…"
"No Mom," he shook off her attempts of comfort. "You can't convince me that this is okay! I'm sick of this shit!"
She sighed, knowing he was right. "I shouldn't have asked you to come back here. Maybe you should go back to New York. I'll be okay."
"I'm not leaving," Brian told her. "But I refuse to let John O'Conner into my life again. I moved out of that sick, miserable house and I have been happier here in the last month than I have been my entire life."
"Where did you go?"
"I stayed with Dom and Mia," he answered.
"Oh," Grace breathed. "Is that why you're staying in town? Because of your relationship with Mia?"
"That's a big part of it," Brian admitted. "But you're a factor too. I'm not going to leave you again, but I need you to do me a favour."
"What?"
"Stop defending the bastard that you married. He's nothing but…"
"He's your father!" Grace cut him off.
"How can you still rationalize with that fact? I hate him! He tore our lives apart and abused me for years. He cheated on you and didn't even apologize for it. He wrecked the family of people I care deeply about." He paused, trying to let his anger subside. "I was five years old Mom. I was five and I walked in…"
"Stop," the matriarch said, tears beginning to stream down her cheeks. "I chose to forgive him and Tony knew. Don't carry that guilt Brian. Tony knew everything."

After the awkward conversation with Aiden, Dom had come straight to work. He didn't make a habit of working on Sundays but he was still short-staffed without Letty.
There were three cars he hoped to finish by lunch. Then he planned to go home and take Aiden to the park.
He had just opened the hood of a car when he heard footsteps enter the space. "Hello?" he called out, going to the entrance.
It was there that he saw Vince, dressed in a blazer and a dark pair of jeans. His beard had been shaven off and his hair was neat. For the first time in almost a decade, Dom didn't think he was high.
"You better go back the way you came unless you want a broken face," Dom warned, gripping the bar in his hand extra firmly.
Vince ignored the warning and walked further into his old workplace. "We need to talk."
"No we don't," Dom muttered in disgust. "I have nothing to say to you."
"What's this I hear about Brian dating Mia?" Vince sat down on the chair by the desk, internally reminiscing all the good times that had taken place in this garage. He was to blame for all the mistakes he made, but he wanted to change.
"None of your business!" Dom roared. He couldn't believe the audacity Vince had by coming here and demanding answers. Mia didn't have to answer to anyone for her decisions, especially Vince.
"Natasha saw them together at Aiden's baseball game a while back," Vince continued. "And then again last week outside the diner. I deserve to know who is apart of my son's life."
"He ain't your son." The anger was boiling quickly and Dom's voice proved it. He had raised Aiden and it was up to him and Mia to make those decisions; not the deadbeat drug addict who refused to get clean. "You better leave."
"Listen Dom," Vince begged, slowly approaching his former best friend and boss. "I want to get clean. After that night at your house and I saw the fear in Aiden's eyes, I want to become a better father. Give me a second chance. Let me come back to work and I promise I'll stop with the drugs."
Dom continued to glare at the man in front of him, not even noticing that Mia had walked in.

"Yes Mami," Letty groaned into the telephone. She was currently in the middle of her weekly call to her mother. "Yes I'm fine. I'm living with Dom and Mia now."
She dreaded the moment when she would have to tell her parents about the baby. Their relationship was never a close one and it was further strained when they moved to the Dominican, but she knew that they would something to say about it. Her parents were traditional people; they wouldn't like the idea of their only child having a baby out of wedlock. They already disliked Dom for giving her a job as a mechanic, and this would just add to it.
"What do you mean you're coming to visit?" Letty freaked out. "You already know Dom and Mia. I'm fine!"
Despite her protests, she knew Ana and Martin Ortiz. If they said they wanted to visit, they were likely on the next plane out.
Uh oh. How do you feel about the reappearance of Vince and the introduction of Letty's parents? Who is Sarah talking to on the phone? What happened in Brian's past that changed his relationship with his parents forever? More will be revealed soon!
