A/N: I think I might have mentioned something about snow during their wedding in the first chapter...uhm, yeah. Forget I said that. I don't want to make it too similar to Phoebe/Mike's wedding, so we'll say Phoebe was just having a flashback or something xD Also, sorry this chapter is short, the next one, which might possibly be the last one, depending how long I decide to make it, will be longer. I'm trying to update quick but I've been super busy lately. Hope you all like it, please tell me what you think in the reviews! :D

Phoebe had just gotten off a long day of work at the massage parlour when she decided she needed more caffiene before she went home. The past few weeks had been extremely busy for her and Joey, because of all the wedding planning. She couldn't believe that it was only a week away. Time was going by so fast, since Joey had proposed to her. They both agreed that they wanted to have the wedding soon, but not so soon that they didn't have enough time to plan it all out, because they wanted it to be perfect. And so they decided to have it in the spring. They picked a church that was right in Central Park, and had a beautiful outdoor setting.A lot of people were coming, including their friends, and Joey's family, which was a lot of people as is. Planning it all was a lot of stress, but Phoebe couldn't wait for their special day to arrive.

As she walked into Central Perk, she saw that Joey was there with Chandler and Monica and their kids, who they were holding in their laps.. Joey had a pen in his hand as he was writing something down on a notepad. She had to smile at the adorable fixiated expression on his face as he wrote whatever it was he was writing. She plopped herself next to him on the couch.

"Hey, guys."

"Hey, Pheebs." her friends said.

Joey quickly tore the peice of paper off the notepad, and folded it over, before tucking it into the pocket of his shirt. He smiled, turning to her.

"Hey, babe." he said, and leaned over to give her a peck on the lips. "How was work?"

"Fine..what's that?" Phoebe asked, pointing to his pocket.

"Oh..I was just working on what I'm gonna say at the wedding. Chandler and Mon were helping me come up with some things."

"Ah." Phoebe nodded. She looked over at Chandler and Monica. "Hey wait a minute. You guys can't help him!"

Monica looked confused. "We can't? Why not?"

"Because! It has to be your words, Joey. That's the whole point of writing our own vows. I mean, I had to cut mine down, because it was like 3 pages long."

Joey sighed. "But Pheebs, I'm not good at writing stuff."

"Sure you are, honey." Phoebe assured him. "You say things to me all the time that make me feel good. So just write them down."

"Ok.." he agreed, picking up his pen and notepad again, as Phoebe got up to order herself a coffee.

"Hey guys, how do you spell 'amazing rack'?" she heard him say after she returned with her coffee. Phoebe lightly hit him in the arm.

"Don't write that!"

Joey chuckled. "I was kidding. My grandmother's going to be there, you think I'd say something like that in front of her?"

"Oh, that reminds me." Phoebe said. "Frank and Alice and the kids are going to be there. So that means your family is going to be there, and between all of your sisters and their kids and everyone...that's a lot of people! And then there will be Frank and Alice, sitting alone, y'know in 'the bride's section'..it's gonna look kinda ridiculous. But I'm not inviting Ursula, and other than that, I don't really have any family."

"Awh, Pheebs." Chandler said, sympathetically. "Tell you what, we'll sit on your side."

"Or," Joey added. "What if we don't even have sides, and people can just sit wherever they want? I mean it makes more sense. And you're about to become a part of my family. They already love you."

"Awh, Joey, that's so sweet. See, this is why I'm marrying you..Well, that and because you're so good-looking." Phoebe said, playfully pinching his cheek.

Jack has been sitting in Chandler's lap playing with a set of toy keys when his twin sister reached over and grabbed them from him, which caused him to start crying angrily, in protest.

"Oh, come on Jack-Jack." Chandler said, bouncing his son on his knee, trying to keep him happy. "You know one day your going to have to learn to stand up to your sister, or people are gonna compare you to your Uncle Ross!"

Monica laughed. "I think we better get these two over to my parents place. They're spending the night with Grandma and Grandpa, so that means Mommy and Daddy get some quite time!" Monica explained. "Actually, we're going to see a movie tonight. Do you guys wanna come with?"

"Sure, we don't have any plans." Phoebe told her.

"Ok, great. We just gotta drop the kids off. Meet us at the movie theater in twenty minutes or so?"

"Sure, sounds great. See you guys there." Joey told her, as her and Chandler put the twins in their stroller and headed out.

Phoebe set down her cup after she finished her drink, and took Joey's hand. "Guess we should go too, huh? Otherwise we'll get stuck in traffic."

"Yeah, and I don't wanna miss the previews." Joey said, as they both got up. As they walked outside, Joey suddenly stopped.

"Awh, crap.."

"What?"

"I left my wallet in there." He said. "Be back in a second."

Phoebe waited by the entrance of Central Perk for Joey to get his wallet. He was always forgetting things, it was nothing new. As she stood there, she looked up and saw someone standing a few feet away, looking at her. It only took her a few seconds to recognize him, as he started to walk over. She tried to look away, but she knew it was too late, and he had already seen her. She braced herself, already feeling uncomfortable.

"Hi."

"Hi, Mike.."

She had been hoping he would just walk away without confronting her, but no such luck. She hadn't counted on ever seeing him again.

"Well..guess I shouldn't be surprised to find you here." He said, nodding towards Central Perk.

"Oh..Yeah." She said, awkwardly. This was the man she was once married to, and now it was too painful to even look him in the eye.

"Was that Joey I saw a minute ago?" Mike asked her.

"Uh-huh." she replied.

He nodded. "So are you guys.."

"Yeah, we are. We're uhm..we're actually getting married soon."

Again, he nodded. "Congratulations. Good for you guys. Hopefully it'll last longer than our marriage did."

Phoebe swallowed hard, looking away from him. Those words hurt, coming from him. She didn't even know how to respond.

"I'm with someone, too." he told her. "I mean..not right now, I'm going to pick her up."

"Oh, are you?" Phoebe said, trying to sound sincere. "That's good."

"Yep, things are going good."

Phoebe was hoping to end the conversation before Joey came back, because she knew how awkward it would be for him to see Mike, but he came out of the coffee shop a few seconds later. He didn't see Mike at first, however, as his back was turned to him when he approached Phoebe.

"Got it." he said, holding up his wallet. "You ready to go, babe?"

Joey saw her glance behind him, and read the uncomfortable look on her face. He turned around.

"Hey, Joey." Mike said.

"Hey." Phoebe could tell that he was holding back a lot of anger seeing him, for her sake. It was probably for the best, anyways. She didn't want them to cause a scene, but she knew how Joey felt about Mike these days.

Mike looked at Phoebe again. "Well..it's, uh..good seeing you again."

"You too." Phoebe said, even though it wasn't. In reality it was really hard seeing him again.

As Mike went to walk past them, he stopped, briefly touching Joey on the arm. "You take good care of her. She's a special lady."

"I know she is." Joey replied.

After Mike was gone, he looked at Phoebe, placing his hand on her shoulder. "You ok?"

"Uh-huh." she replied, quietly.

"You sure? You seem upset."

"No, I'm fine." she assured him. She gave him a small smile, taking his hand in hers. "Come on, let's go."

She wanted to take her mind off of Mike and what he said. But seeing him brought back a lot of memories. Not all of them were bad. Once upon a time, she was about to marry Mike, like she was Joey. And back then, she as just as excited as she was now, because she thought that they would be perfectly happy together, and nothing would ever break them apart. Back then she wasn't counting on their marriage falling apart so quickly and ending the way it did.

One Week Later

Joey woke up early that morning, feeling excitement as soon as he opened his eyes. He couldn't believe their big day was already here. He couldn't help but notice that over the past few days, Phoebe didn't seem as excited as he was, and that bothered him a little. He told himself that she was just feeling stressed. As the bride, she had a lot more pressures to deal with. But this was Phoebe, she was usually so strong. Besides, she had been through this once before. Joey couldn't shake the feeling that something Mike said to her the other day had made her this way. Although she didn't say much about it, Joey could tell something was up.

He sighed, staring up at the ceiling, and decided to just put it out of his mind. He just hoped that Phoebe wasn't having second thoughts about this. He turned his head towards her and saw she was still asleep. This was their last morning together before they would be husband and wife, he realized. Joey rolled onto his side. He brushed her hair back from her face and kissed her cheek, lightly. He didnt want to wake her, but he couldn't help himself, because he was so excited to start the day. He leaned down and kissed her again, and she started to stir. Stretching, slowly and turning over to look at him. A smile crept across her lips. "Morning." she said, sleepily.

Joey smiled, and softly kissed her lips. "Morning, Beautiful." he said, in just above a whisper.

"Guess what today is." she asked, running her fingers through his soft, dark hair.

Joey glanced upwards as he pretended to think about it. "Uhmm..The Superbowl weekend?"

She laughed, softly, nd patted his cheek. "Awh, Joey. What am I ever going to do with you?"

Joey couldn't resist flashing her a teasing grin. "What would you like to do with me?" He bowed his head down, going in for another kiss when she turned her head to reject it.

"Uh-uh." she said. "We have to save it for tonight."

Joey crinkled his nose in disappointment. "Do we really? I mean..is that what you're supposed to do?"

Phoebe thought for a second. "I'm not sure. But we should wait til then. It'll be more special if we do."

Joey dropped his head back and let out a loud, impatient sigh. "I don't know if I can wait that long." he said.

"Trust me, you'll be glad you did." Phoebe told him with a smile. "In the olden days people use to wait until after they were married. One day won't kill you."

"Can I have a kiss, then?" he asked, bringing his face closer to hers.

Again, she turned away. "Nope. It's bad luck. You'll have to wait til the ceremony."

"It is not bad luck!" Joey argued.

"It is, too!"

"You just made that up."

"No, I didn't. It's true. Look it up."

"I don't have to look it up. I know it's not true. And now you're just being mean."

"Oh, really?" Phoebe said, rolling her eyes at him. She pulled herself out from under him, and sat up.

Joey sat up, as well, kissing her on the shoulder. It was his small way of winning the argument. "Yep, and if you're not careful, I just might change my mind about marrying you."

Phoebe placed her legs over the side of the bed, and sat there, silently for a moment, like she was hesitant to get up.

"What?" Joey asked, his stomach sinking little. He suddenly felt bad about his comment. He didn't want to do anything to ruin their morning.
He sat, cross-legged behind her, and placed his hands on her shoulders. "Hey, Pheebs.. I was just kidding."

"I know." She said. "I just...sat up too fast or something." She took a shaky breath, bringing her hand to her head.

Growing concerned, Joey placed his feet on the ground and stood up, standing in front of her. "You feeling ok, Pheebs?" he asked, placing his hands on her cheeks, and lifting her head. Her eyes met his, but only for a few seconds before she looked away.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Why?"

Joey wasn't convinced. He brought the back of his hand to her forehead. "You do feel a little warm. You getting sick?"

She shrugged. "I dunno."

He sighed. He was getting more worried about her. "Maybe we should put this off.."

She looked up at him. "What? No!"

"Well, we could, I mean.."

"No." she said firmly, taking his hand between hers. "We can't just 'put off' our wedding, Joey. What are we gonna do, call all those people and tell them it's cancelled?"

He shrugged. "If we have to."

"No." she repeated. "I'm fine. I'm not sick, it's just...you know, nerves and stress and things."

He watched her stand up, walking over to the mirror of her vanity table. "But why are you so stressed out? I thought you were supposed to be excited."

She looked at his reflection, still sitting on the bed, behind her. "I am excited. So excited, it's making me feel funny. That's all it is."

"That's not normal." Joey pointed out.

She turned around. "Babe," she said. "I'm fine. Really." She walked over, placing her hands on his face, like he had just done to her. "It's just nerves. I'll be ok. Trust me."

Joey placed his hand over one of hers. He brought it to his lips and kissed it. "I trust you."

"Good." she said and smiled. She walked back over to the dresser. She pulled out some simple clothes to throw on, for before she put on her gown later. "I need to get going. I have a hair appointment at the salon in a few minutes. I guess I won't see you again until the ceremony." She walked over, bending down like she wanted a kiss. Joey turned his head away.

"Nope. It's bad luck. Remember?"

Phoebe scoffed, as though she was offended.

"Hey, I didn't make the rules. You did."

Phoebe laughed, shaking her head. "You are such a jerk-off." she muttered.

"Yep. You're about to marry this jerk-off. Think about that." He said, shaking his finger at her.

She grinned. "I love you."

"You know it."

After getting dressed, Phoebe double checked the room, making sure she had everything she needed. "Alright, I'm heading out. What are you gonna do?"

She asked Joey. He sat down on the foot of the bed and shrugged. "Probably go back to sleep. Or watch tv until it's time to go. All I have to do is put on a tux."

"Must be nice." Phoebe muttered. She put her hand on the door to leave, and took a deep, nervous breath. Joey took her hesitant pause to stand up and walk over to her.

"Phoebe..look at me."

Phoebe turned around. He placed his hands on either side of her head and looked deep into her eyes, resting his forehead against hers. "You have absolutely nothing to be afraid of. Today is going to be perfect. No matter what happens, ok? I love you."

He really wanted to kiss her, but he was reluctant. Just in case Phoebe was right, he pulled her into a hug instead, and kissed her on the cheek.

"Awh, I love you, too." she said, returning his hug. She pulled back, with a smile, and rested her hands on his chest. "Next time you see me, I'll be walking down the aisle." she told him.

"I'll keep an eye out for you." He told her, and winked. "Hope I'll be able to pick you out in the crowd."

Phoebe exhaled a laugh. She gave him a confident smile. "See you soon." she said, before she turned and walked out the door. Joey smiled. 'There goes my future wife.' he thought. Already, she looked so beautiful to him, and she didn't even have her dress on yet.
