[Log 6 - Underground]
I peeked into Pirate's Cove, only to see Foxy had disappeared. Where he went, I have no clue. Pulling my head out of the curtains, I walked over to Bonnie, who was busy trying to decifer the map Foxy had left. Chica was no longer crying, but still in a somber mood from the previous events. I walked backstage to look for the trapdoor Foxy spoke of. After moving around a few of the spare heads and some tables, the trapdoor was found. I waved Bonnie and Chica inside, then pointed to the trapdoor. Bonnie cautiously opened it and peered inside. The tunnel inside was pitch black.
"Well, no point in waiting around up here. Let's g-" Bonnie said, until I interrupted him by holding up a finger. Determined to be back in a few moments, I jogged down to the Office. I grabbed the flashlight Fritz used earlier. As I held it in my hand I thought back to everything that had happened since he arrived. Ever since Foxy betrayed me and Father died Fritz was all I had. I was determined not to lose him too.
I entered backstage with the flashlight in hand, only to see that Bonnie and Chica were gone. 'Must have gone down into the tunnels already,' I thought. I started to lower myself down, which wasn't easy mind you. Try lowering yourself with only one arm, while that arm was holding a slippery little rod, into a hole in the ground that was just barely large enough to fit you. Then you'll get an idea of the struggle I was having.
After many wasted minutes, I had finally got into the tunnels. The first thing I did was turn on the flashlight and take a look around. Brickwork and pipes lined the walls, seeming to stretch on endlessly. Everything was dark and decriped. Rats occasionally scurried across the path, fearful of the light I held. Resolve slightly shaken, I pressed onwards.
After what felt like hours spent trudging along in the inky darkness I spotted something. I came across an intersection, with signs on the walls giving some direction as to where the tunnels would lead. Aside from the signs, there was no visible difference between the tunnels. The signs read "Generator Room", "Storage", and "Tunnel Access".
I sat there, pondering my choices. With Bonnie and the map gone I had no clue as to which one would lead me to this stranger, and to Fritz. That is, until I noticed a metallic gleam on the ground. I looked onto the ground and saw a few screws and a yellow feather. The feather was pointing down the "Tunnel Access" pathway. Although, that wasn't the most interesting part. Upon closer examination, scrape marks could be seen on the walls and the floor. All pointing towards the Tunnel Access.
'Some kind of a struggle went down here.' I thought. 'Looks like Chica's claw marks and feathers, which means she was probably taken by something. No signs of Bonnie though. They could have gotten split up at some point.'
I started my way down towards the Tunnel Access. The fighting looks like it got even worse the further I got down the tunnel. It even got to the point where the piping was torn off of the wall. That is, until it abruptly stopped. All signs of struggle ceased, but something else showed. Instead of a struggle, it looks like there was a beatdown. Murky oil pooled on the ground at my feet, with flecks of it splattered over the walls. Feathers lie all over the place, alongside screws and bits of wiring. Even pieces of metal were scattered about.
'Looks like Chica's in a bit of a rough spot right now. I hope she's okay. We've had our differences in the past, but nothing to ever warrant any of this.' I thought.
A moan echoed through the darkness. I looked up to try and find where it came from. A second moan told me that it was just down the tunnel a bit, further. 'That could be Chica! I need to go help her! Although whoever did this to her could still be around, so I'm gonna have to be cautious.' I thought.
I walked down the hallway far enough to see a rusted iron door barely on it's hinges. I placed a hand on the door and pushed a little. The door came crashing down onto the cement beneath.
"B-b-bonnie? Is that you?" Something said. My optic sensors have been messed up ever since... the incident. Well, you know which one. I saw something glowing yellow on the floor. I rushed towards it.
"Chica! Are you alright?" I yelled, to my horror I saw Chica on the floor. Well, part of her.
I picked up her head, a light leaking through one of the eye sockets. "Fred-dy. Ru-u-u-nnn." Chica moaned, before the light went out.
"No, Chica! What happened? Who did this to you?!" I shouted. "Chica... you can't leave us." Something black dripped on her head. Then another. Oil.
I sobbed unlike I ever had before. I felt a hand on my shoulder.
"I'm sorry I couldn't help her."
I looked up towards Bonnie, but something wasn't right. He was worn down, and his fur was rotten. So much that his fur had turned from blue to a musty yellow color.
"Who did this to her?" I asked.
"It was the same one who abducted Fritz, the one who made Foxy so aggressive, the one behind it all."
"Who? Who is it?!" I repeated.
"It's me."
I felt a weight lifted off of my shoulders, followed by extreme pain. My vision rolled. I was on the floor, staring up at my own body. My now headless body. My vision faded for the final time, and for once in my life, I felt free.
