I stood dumbstruck in between 3 barrels of water. apples were floating on the surface and I had a feeling that this would be something weird.
"On your marks... Go!"
Three men shoved their heads under the water to try to retrieve an apple.
Each time they came up, gasping for breath, they reassured me that they would win.
"Gasp* I'll get it this time!" Hijikawa was practically swimming in the small bucket.
"There is no way..." Camus gasped. "That I can loose to the likes of you all."
"I CAN'T SEE!" Eiichi's glasses had fallen off into the barrel. Poor guy.
I broke into a small smile as I watched the three struggle to get all the apples out of the water.
At last the event was over.
Hijikawa happened to win due to his skill.
"So, we get her right?" He asked and shining smirked.
"Neeeeeexxxxtttttt!"
Otoya, Reiji and kira waited to dash up a apple tree.
I mentally questioned how one competes using apples.
"Oy! those apples are mine!" Otoya expressed breathlessly.
"Actually there are many apples on this tree. Is the point of this exercise to determine who is capable of climbing a tree to get a apple?" Kira stoicly said.
"The first one to get the apple and climb down wins Kira-kun!" Reiji chuckled lightly.
Now, it was at that point in which they had been reminded that there was NOT a pond below the tree in case they fall.
"as if i'd-" Otoya slipped but clung to the tree, gasping as he chucked nervously.
