Okay, so this is the last chapter, and will be pretty short...But, anyways, here it is.
Chapter 13- Goodbye
The alarm went off in the middle of the night. Luckily, she was a light sleeper, so Alice woke up immediately. Even luckier, Dracula was a very heavy sleeper. She spun around in the bed and shut it off. She breathed a sigh of relief, and looked into Dracula's eyes. She felt a few tears escape, but let them. She carefully pulled out of his grasp, and, still naked, sat up in bed.
She wiped her eyes, and sniffled softly. "I love you..." She whispered weakly, "Dracula, I love you so, so, so much. I really zinged...but...you zinged long ago. And nothing I could ever do will ever change that. But, know that...please...please know that I love you. I will always love you..." She gently brushed her fingers through his silky hair and wiped the stray strands away from his face. He was snoring very softly.
She bent down and kissed his forehead, not risking his lips because she knew that would wake him. She backed out of the bed, and wandered over to the dresser. She gathered up all of her things in her suitcase, wrote a note explaining why she had left and asking him not to find her, and headed down to the front desk, her mind blank.
As Alice reached the desk, she spoke in a hoarse voice, "Alice Drake. I'm...checking out...permanently." She watched the workers handle it, and added, "Oh, don't send people up to the room yet. Drac...Dracula is still in bed up there."
She quickly turned around and briskly walked to the doors. On her way, she passed by Griffin. "Going on a walk?" He said cheerfully as she walked past, not noticing her suitcase hanging on the floor, "Maybe the next wedding I conduct will be yours!"
She felt a sliver of doubt, but pushed it away. She knew, deep down, that this is what she had to do. She pushed open the huge doors, and walked over to the zombie-driven car waiting for her. Time to find my sister, she thought bitterly. The zombies handled her luggage and helped her into her seat. As the doors closed and they began driving away, she looked back out the window and watched the castle until it disappeared from view.
And she cried the whole way to her sister's.

Okay, so, don't worry. There is going to be a sequel. :) I already have plans for it. And, I will start it soon. So, anyway, that was the last chapter. I know, sad. But, anyway, thanks to all my reviewers, and watch out of the sequel. The name of it will be:
Finding Home
