Miss me? I'm going to pretend everyone said yes. I have had so much going on so I'm glad everyone will forgive me being absent. To sum things up: got published, got a degree, went to Disney, then to PA, and now job hunting before I go to my dream school. I'm glad that everyone likes a dark Jareth, and don't worry getting more actual story in this. Love you guys, I don't own anything but Damian.
Her legs wrapped around his hips, pulling him closer, deeper, as nails raced down his back earning her a feral growl and a bite to the neck. Moaning out she gripped his hair and forced his lips to meet hers in a starving passion. Just as he began to respond she bit his bottom lip and tugged it teasingly.
"Someone is feisty tonight." Damian teased pausing his motions.
"Shut up." Sarah smirked and flipped him over so she was straddling him. He ran his hands up and down her sides smiling warmly as she rocked her hips, lightly biting her bottom lip.
"I love you. Just like this." He grabbed her hips to guide her pace. "Beautiful. Powerful. Intoxicating" She rolled her head back taking in his words letting her eyes slipped closed.
"Yes you are quite precious" The warm loving hands were replaced with cold possessive claws as she was flipped back underneath, to look back up the controlling gaze of her capture. "And all mine."
Sarah jumped awake from the bench in the gardens. Looking around at the green scenery she brushed her hair from her face and relaxed. Just another nightmare; breathing in deep through her nose she tilted her head back and tried to relax.
Jareth sat in his throne, balancing a crystal on his finger, smirking as he watched his Sarah recover from her little daydream. This had become his new game, to stir up her desire. Make her mind ache so that the body would soon, hopefully follow. His face slid into a toothy grin when she sat and cursed his name under her breath.
"Soon pet…."
"Your Majesty!" Merrick burst into the room, his grey robes blowing behind him as ran to stand before the king. "There are reports of a squad of men outside the labyrinth walls. There must be forty or fifty of them, armed." Jareth's face turned sour as he rolled his crystal in his palmed to gaze upon the intruders. Confusion met his eyes, followed by joy.
"Open the gates… and send word to every Country's leader that there is to be a formal gathering tonight. I will supply their way here."
"Your Majesty do you thi-"
"Did I ask for consul on this, Merrick?" The Older man stopped and bowed his head.
"I will send the word at once sire. What time will this affair begin?"
"It took Sarah 8 hours to get here….. I'll give those men 10. Have everyone here an hour before dinner, tell the cooks to prepare accordingly." Before Merrick could respond, the king vanished from his throne.
Outside the labyrinth Damian had his hair pulled back, brushing his hand over the walls trying to find an opening. The stones were too smooth to climb, and would give away their position.
"Come on, you telling me that this place has no real way in. No magic words." One of the younger men came up waving his arms in front of the wall. "Hello! Freak house! Open up!"
"Marcus if you don't shut the hell up." Damian hissed moving to a different section of wall. He was beginning to wonder how Sarah figured it out but 47 men couldn't.
"Wait I got it" A black haired man about 20 years old came up rubbing his hands together. He clapped and spread his hands open wide grinning. "Open Says Me!" Damian bit his tongue refusing to look at them, until he heard a low creaking sound.
"Whoa" Turning quickly his gun at the ready, he saw a large ornate door standing wide open.
"Didn't we just check that area?"
"Yeah…" Damian step forward, turning off the safety. "We did."
Sarah walked down the cobbled path in the gardens, brushing her hand over petals of the flowers. This place did offer her some peace; no one really came out there, though she did wonder how she had never seen a gardener. She brushed it off as a sort of magic they all flourished in the unbearable heat.
Feeling nostalgic, she went off the path and into the lawn where she saw long stemmed flowers grew. Pulling them gingerly, she began to weave a chain, humming a tune under her breath. The white and purple flowers were twisted into a crown that she placed upon her head.
As she plucked more to make another chain, the song she sung soon took on words.
"….cause I know it's true, dreams are seldom what they seam…"
"Curious, how do you know what you constantly deny?" Sarah bit the inside of her cheek, choosing to ignore her constant intrusion. "Oh come now precious. I do so love to hear you sing."
"Like a caged canary?" She bit, continuing to make her chain.
"And look at the charming cage you have." Walking over he pulled her to her feet. "Remember I didn't need to be so generous." He smiled at the fear that flashed through her fired eyes. He looked at the crown she had made for herself and chuckled.
"My dear, you know if you wanted a crown," Taking her hand he spun her around. The jeans and shirt she was wearing changing into a long silver gown that clung to her frame, and a halter top that showed off her breasts, as well as the blades of her back. A silver crown bearing the same emblem he wore on his chest rest on her head as her hair twisted into a tight bun. "You need only ask."
Glaring at him her fingers twitched to reach up and slap him, but she closed her eyes and took in a calming breath.
"Change me back."
"No, you will be wearing that for the get together we're hosting tonight with the world leaders." He took her hand and led her back to the path. "Speaking of which Sarah, I offer you a wager."
"I decline"
"Even if winning meant never seeing me again?" Sarah dug her heals into the ground and looked at him stunned. "See? It helps to hear someone out."
"What is your wager?"
"I wager that by the end of this day, by which I mean midnight, you will kiss me, all of your own freewill."
Sarah looked at him stunned, and fought the urge to just laugh then and there.
"And when I don't, you will leave this world?"
"It will be as though I was never here. You will go back to your Demon-"
"Damian."
"and I will return to my realm, never to interfere again."
Sarah smiled, heart leaping with joy, until he continued.
"If you do kiss me before midnight, then you will move into my chambers and announce yourself as my intended."
All the air was knocked out of her. Every ounce of joy she had felt had turned to ice. He had a plan. He wouldn't make such a wager if he didn't have a plan. The risk she was taking was massive, but so was the reward.
"Well my dear, do we have a deal?"
She looked up at him, eyes strong and will iron.
"Game on Goblin King"
