"Jace is this..." Tommy asked speechless.

"That old car you told me about" Jason finished

" I already have the best Christmas present in the world." David said.

"What's that?" Jason asked.

"My little brother is able to celebrate this Christmas with us."

"This is the hardest thing I have ever had to say." He continued. "Jason and I …"Tommy took a big breath. "Jason and I are…" He started, but David cut him off.

"T. it's ok, We already knew." Tommy had tears of joy in his eyes. He grabbed David and brought him in to a hug as he cried on his shoulder.

"Thank you." Tommy repeated over and over.

Jason was the first one to wake the next morning. He got a snuck out of the bed, took a few steps back and smiled.

"It's Christmas!" He shouted jumping on the bed. Tommy smiled and hit him upside the head with his pillow.

"I get it. It will still be Christmas in a few minutes, let me sleep."

"But baby." Jason complained childishly. "I want it to be Christmas now." He said childishly throwing himself over Tommy. Tommy grunted and playfully said,

"Get off me you ox."

"That's it." Jason said with a devilish smile on his face. He got off the bed and grabbed the covers with both hands and ripped them back off Tommy.

"AH! not cool bro!" Tommy yelled. Jason struck a heroic pose and said,

"Ha take that felon." Tommy glanced over Jason who was clad only in tight red bikini brief, that showed off every toned muscle in his body. Tommy jumped out of bed with his signature evil green ranger laugh.

"Just try to get me now!" He said running around the corner of the bed. Jason chased him and they both ran around the room like they were five again. Just then Jason's phone went off.

"Hello?" He asked. Then from the other end came a voice he never thought he would hear ever again.

"Mon Ami!" A thick French accent replied.

"Jacques?" Jason asked dumbfounded.

"But of course." The Frenchman replied with an audible smile.

"It's great to hear your voice again." Jason said, just then Tommy's communicator went off. While Jason was busy with Jacques he answered the communicator.

"This is Tommy go ahead."

"Tommy, this is Rocky. Listen I know today is Christmas I just wanted to remind you about the party we are having tomorrow night at my place." Rocky said

"Oh yeah!" Tommy said. Admittedly he had forgotten "Don't worry I'll be there."

"OK, bring Jason along too. I mean Billy, Trini, and Zach will be there. No reason we can't have the original red Ranger there too." Rocky said

"Will do." Tommy said and closed the communication channel. Back with Jason who was still talking to Jacques,

"Oh I guess you are wondering why I called." He said

"I was beginning to wonder." Jason said

"Well, you know how the conference gives each person an allowed two weeks off?" Jacques said with a smile.

"Yeah?" Jason asked suspiciously

"Well I took mine these two weeks and not only that but I'm coming to Angel Grove tomorrow afternoon!"

"No way!" Jason exclaimed. Just then he heard a different voice from the other end of the phone say,

"And he isn't alone boy-o."

"Scotty your there too?" Jason asked almost not believing he was having this conversation.

"Eye, I will also be there tomorrow. unfortunately I have to leave a bit sooner cause I'm stopping at Scotland on my way back."

"Wow, I can't wait for you to meet everybody!" Jason said looking at Tommy.

"Now my friend, I must meet this Tommy. I have to know why I suffered so much while you were here." Jacques said jokingly

"Oh trust me you will." Jason said smiling " you guys need a pick up at the airport?" he asked

"Would you mind picking us up?" Jacques asked.

"Not at all. Just text me when you guys land and we will be there as soon as we can." Jason said

"Alright Mon Ami I will see you then."

"I'll see you guys tomorrow." Jason said before closing his phone and running over to Tommy.

"Guess who is coming into town tomorrow?" He asked with a big smile.

"Who?" Tommy asked.

"My old roommates, Jacques and Scotty." Jason said giving Tommy a big hug.

"I can't wait to meet Jacques. From what you have told me he sounds like a great guy, and it will be nice to see Scotty again."

"I tell you what the girls are going to flip." Jason said smiling. "Jacques has a muscular frame, short black hair, tan skin and dark purple eyes." Jason said grabbing his towel and walking down the hall to the shower.

"Sounds wonderful." Tommy called back.

Once the boys were all showered and after a bit of fun they wandered downstairs where the tree and presents were waiting. It was about noon when the boys had finally gotten out of bed and wandered down stairs.

"Do we open ours now, when mom gets in or tomorrow with everyone?" Jason asked. Tommy thought for a moment.

"Man this is a hard one." He said. "We can wait till your mom gets home I guess. I mean it is our first Christmas together." He said giving Jason a kiss to reinforce his point.

"OK I guess we can wait till mom gets back." Jason said

"What are we going to do until then?" Tommy asked

" I'm sure we will think of something." Jason said seductively

As Tommy looked into the dark eyes of Jason, time almost seemed to stop.

"Have I told you today that I love you?" he asked.

"Once or twice." Jason laughed. Just then his stomach growled.

"Looks like it's time for lunch." Tommy said.

Jason blushed and got up to go into the kitchen.

"I think we had better find something premade." Tommy suggested. Jason agreed and the hunted in the fridge for a sandwich or something. After finding the fixings for a turkey sandwich the boys settled down and had lunch. While they were eating they heard a knock at the door. Jason got up to see who it was. Tommy watched him from his spot at the table. Jason looked through the window and saw the one person he wanted to see least today. His fists clenched.

"Baby who is it?" Tommy asked coming up behind Jason and putting his hand in his shoulder.

"It's her." Jason said anger heavy in his words.

"Let me open it." Tommy said.

"What if she does something?" Jason asked quietly.

"Well then give you permission to kill her." Tommy said with a smirk. He opened the door to find one shocked Teresa Oliver.

"Tommy I-I didn't expect you to answer instead of Stacy."

" She's working today it's just me and Jason here." he said and Jason stepped up beside Tommy.

"Well I just wanted to say that your father and I are sorry for what we did back when you came to us and said what you did."

Jason was shocked, but Tommy saw right through her lies.

"Oh really." he said calmly "Is this the type of sorry where you forget that I said anything and move on or is this the kind of sorry where dad beats me up so bad I black out again." He said

Now Jason was more angry then surprised.

"He what?" Jason asked.

Teresa ignoring Jason's question responded with

"You know he has a temper."

"Back then I couldn't defend myself." Tommy said, "You always kept up appearances, you never helped me with anything. Maybe if you did I wouldn't be so bad at school." Tommy said shaking. Jason placed a supportive hand on his shoulder.

"I couldn't go to child services because I was terrified of what you would do to me if I ever told anyone." Tommy continued. "That's why I got into martial arts, I had to learn to defend myself. I had to stop the pain." He said tears trickling down his face.

"Tommy bro calm down, Jason said pulling him in to a hug Tommy wiped his eyes and looked back at Teresa.

"Did you want something or are you just here to hurt people." Jason asked angrily

"I wanted to apologize but it looks like my apology is rejected." She said before stomping away. Jason closed the door and brought Tommy back into the living room.

"Is that all true?" He asked. Tommy nodded. Jason was furious.

"Why didn't you tell me." He asked as calmly as he could.

"I couldn't" Tommy said sadly.

"Why?" Jason asked.

"I knew if I told you, you would get upset and end up doing something about it that would get us both in trouble." Tommy said wiping his eyes.

"Ok I promise I won't do anything rash. Now will you please explain to me just what the hell they did to you?" Jason asked. Tommy sniffled and asked

"Remember when the doctor said he found unexplained fractures?" Jason nodded "Well they weren't really unexplained. Bill, my father, used to drink and when something would go wrong at work or I got a low grade in school he would beat me. My mother was no help she would just go about her work in the kitchen or where ever she was while me. Father did anything he could think of to hurt me. One time it got so bad he knocked me down the stairs and knocked me unconscious. Next thing I knew I was lying in a hospital bed and the doctor was explaining something to my parents. They made up some lie about how I was always a clumsy child how I constantly fell down the stairs or into different things. The doctor just nodded. Once we were alone he asked me if they ever hurt me so bad I cried in pain for hours. I looked out the window and saw my mother glaring in. I said no but I don't think he believed me." Tommy said "After my little trip to the hospital I realized that this wasn't going to stop anytime soon. I decided I was going to learn how to defend myself. Through YouTube I got the basics of defense but that wasn't enough. I had to learn to strike back. I found out that the local youth center was having a martial arts class and every day after school I would go and learn."

"But how did you explain to your parents where you were?" Jason asked a bit calmer.

"Well I said I had soccer practice, I explained that I never played but the coach let me practice for exercise." Tommy said.

"And they bought it?" Jason asked.

"Apparently Tommy said anyway by the time they found out it was too late. My father went off the wagon but I was able to take him on without any major injuries." Tommy explained. Jason could feel his blood boiling. Tommy looked at Jason and hugged him.

"Now you see why I didn't want to tell you when I was at the hospital." He said. Jason just ran his hands through Tommy's hair and held him close. After a few minutes they returned to the table without a word. Tommy picked at his food not really eating much of anything.

"I wish she never came. Said Tommy under his breath.

"Why is that?" Jason asked who had hardly eaten anything ether.

"Because she showed up on Christmas day, a day meant to be happy and spent with those you love. She just showed up and brought our day down to hell." Tommy said.

"We can't let her get us down especially today." Jason said then got an idea he ran upstairs to grab Tommy's present and ran back down. He placed the package in front of him and said

"Open it."

"I thought we were waiting." Tommy said with a laugh.

"We were but I think we need something to brighten out spirits. Now open it."Jason smiled. Tommy carefully tore off the wrapping and opened the box. What he saw made him speechless. Folded inside so the emblem was the first thing he saw was the brown leather jacket that Jason bought for him.

"Jason this is amazing." Tommy said awestruck.

"Try it on." Jason said standing up. Tommy stood up and threw the jacket on. It was a little big but he knew Jason must have been the one they tried it out on. He smiled and zipped it up and hugged Jason.

"I love it thank you so much!" He said happily. He then kissed Jason's cheek and ran upstairs to grab Jason's gift. He ran back down and Jason ripped open the wrapping and opened the box to see the black leather jacket from the same store. He threw on his jacket and noticed it was a little tight but understandably so. The boys laughed when Jason opened his present.

"I can't believe we got the same things for each other" Tommy said.

"Great minds think alike." Jason laughed. The boys retreated once more into the living room and watched some Christmas special. Tommy and Jason curled up on the couch together. After a while Tommy grew hot and took off his coat. Jason smiled and did the same. Tommy looked at Jason and smirked.

"I'm still hot." He said and removed his red shirt and laid back on Jason.

"You can say that again." Jason said with a smirk. With Tommy lying bare cheated against him Jason was feeling warm too, but for a completely different reason. He couldn't tell if it was because of Tommy's body heat or what but he suddenly felt sleepy. He dreamed he was standing in a white field, with a blue sky up over head. across the field there was a figure silhouetted against the blue sky. Jason began walking towards it, as he got closer the figure revealed to be Tommy. Jason began running to him. He was about ten few feet away he saw another figure appear from behind Tommy with a knife drawn. Jason tried to yell but nothing came. He could only run faster. Just as the figure stabbed Tommy in the back Jason dropped to his knees as Tommy fell limp to the ground. The dark figure faded into the background and Jason felt angry, sad, and afraid. He released all his emotions in one huge scream. His scream changed more from a yell into a howl as it grew. It echoed and Jason woke up. He was breathing hard and scanned the room looking for Tommy. He didn't have to look far he found the brown haired man asleep on top of him.

'Just a dream.' Jason said to himself. 'A crazy, twisted, fucked up dream.'

It was about dinner time when Stacy came home.

"Merry Christmas boys" She called

"Hey mom!" Jason replied. He and Tommy had done absolutely nothing all day and were proud of it.

"Well you boys want to open your presents now or what?" she asked. Jason and exchanged an embarrassed look.

"Well you see mom." Jason started to explain.

"You boys already exchanged your gifts didn't you?" She asked knowing by the looks on their faces they had.

"Well you see it's like this Stacy." Tommy began and then explained the whole story to her, of course leaving a few major details that only he and Jason knew out.

"I see." She said. "Oh I almost forgot." She said walking out of the living room and into her bedroom. She came back with a small wooden box.

"I was told to give this to you on Christmas." She said handing Jason the box. Jason looked the box over. It was old, and made entirely out of wood. It looked like it was hand crafted. There was a gold clasp holding the top and bottom parts together. Jason undid the clasp and opened the box. Inside he found two things one was a hand written letter to him that read.

Dear Rex,

If you are reading this then your mother did as I asked her to. I'm sure from the greeting you figured out who this is. As you read this I am long gone but that's ok. I just want you to have a good life with that Tommy boy of yours. As my last wish that's all I want. I want you to have a good life. Make it a good one Rex. I love you like a son Jason. I will always watch over you and look out for you. You are never alone Rex.

Love now and forever

Antonio Fazzari

Tears ran down his face as he read the letter. He reached inside the box and pulled out the locket. It was a golden circle, with a golden chain. Jason opened the locket. inside he found a small picture of a man and a woman standing out in front of a two story house. The man had his hand around the woman and they were both smiling. The woman was holding a small child in her hands. It was then that Jason realized he was looking at a old picture of his mother and father. He wiped the tears from his eyes and handed his mother the locket. Tommy didn't know what was wrong but he embraced his Boyfriend and asked,

"Everything ok baby?" Jason put the locket around his neck and hugged Tommy back.

"Couldn't be better." He said with a smile.
