Chapter 14
They finally arrive at Fropeak City. They see a lot of igloos and ice sculptures.
"Wow, this place looks like a winter land." Ash says.
"Yeah, all of them is made of ice." Lillie says. "And is that the castle that is made by the frozen queen?"
"Yes, the Frozen Queen is a wonderful family love story." Alice says as she comes to them. "Hi, guys."
Ash says, "Hey, Alice. So you choose this story for the place?"
Alice says, "Yes, the queen named Elsa has powers to use Ice type Pokemon moves, and to prevent her sister getting hurt, she locked herself in her room. Her parents died in an accident, so she became the queen, her sister Anna confronted her sister that why should she locked herself up, and with an anger, she showed her secrets and used the move Hail to cover the kingdom and fled."
Serena says, "I really like the songs in the story, and the end is that the family's love saved the kingdom and helped Elsa learn to control the ice type moves."
Alice says, "Yes. This town is perfect for this story."
Ash and his friends then start to make humans and Pokemon. Ash places a Delibird and an Avalugg on B Team.
"Now here is the first Pokemon."
Alice sends out a penguin like Pokemon that has white fur instead of the usual blue, the second one is taller and the color is same as the first one, the third one is taller than the second one and its flippers are covered with ice.
Piplup Vigoratian Form. The Penguin Pokemon. Ice Type. Because it is very proud, it hates accepting food from people. Its thick down guards it from cold.
Prinplup Vigoratian Form. The Penguin Pokemon. Ice Type. Evolved from Piplup at LV 16. Prinplup often lives alone in the cold, as it is important to them.
Empoleon Vigoratian Form. The Emperor Pokemon. Ice and Flying Type. Evolved from Prinplup at LV 36. Its wings can make it float in the sky, and it cam also swims in the cold waters due to its ice body.
Dawn says, "Piplup, you also have a Vigoratian Form!"
Piplup looks at the Pokemon carefully, then he jumps up and down.
Serena says, "Piplup also wants to change into an Ice Type."
Dawn asks, "Are you sure?"
Piplup pats his chest as he shows his pride. Ash then changes it into an Ice Type.
"Cool, now I have 3 Vigoratian Forms." Dawn says.
Ash says, "Good for you." He also captures an Empoleon as he takes it to the other 2 starters and they have another mock battle.
Lillie says, "Wow, the Sinnoh Starters are complete."
Dawn says, "Maybe I can send the data to Dad and Professor Rowan about these."
Ash says, "Sure."
As they connect to Professor Rowan through the phone in the Pokemon Center, Professor Rowan says, "Ash, Dawn. It is nice to see you again."
Ash says, "Same here, Professor."
Professor Rowan notices Piplup, he asks, "Dawn, what happened to your Piplup?"
Dawn says, "We are in Vigorate Region, like Alola, there are regional variants here for the 3 starters."
Professor Rowan says, "That is amazing news."
Ash says, "It is, see?"
Ash shows his Torterra, Infernape and Empoleon. "I was wondering do you want to research them? We can send you a set of Sinnoh Starters for you."
"That will be great." Rowan says.
After Ash sends a set of 3 starters, they bid farewell and go back to meet Alice.
"Now that is done, Alice, do you make new Pokemon?" Ash asks.
"Well, yes. But their primary typing aren't Ice Types. And you can thank Diantha's children for creating these." Alice says as she gives him a smoothie.
"Huh? This smoothie is a Pokemon?" Cilan asks.
"Of course not." Ash says as he drinks it. "Wow, it tastes delicious."
Alice says, "Here are for everyone, you can thank this guy."
She shows them a juice blender with a face on it.
Dex Entry No.879 Blenectric. The Blending Pokemon. Electric and Ice Type. Blenectric can gather the berries to make juice to drink.
"Wow, a Blender Pokemon. I guess you have sent one for Paris?" Ash asks.
"Yes. And it can mega evolve, too."
Ash mega evolves it and it becomes a bigger blending machine with wires as hands.
"Cool." Dawn says.
"And taste this, too." Alice gives out the ice cream cake for everyone, Lillie says, "Wow, how do you make this?"
Alice says, "I just brought an ordinary cake, but with this guy's help, it becomes an Ice Cream Cake."
She shows a mini refrigerator with a face on it to them.
Dex Entry No.880 Minfrez. The Fridge Pokemon. Steel and Ice Type. When someone opens the door on its body, it will immediately freezes.
Cilan says, "Well, if I send the two back to my restaurant, that will be perfect."
Ash says, "Indeed. So that is all?"
Alice says, "Yes."
Ash places them in the A Team and then gives Alice an Absozero.
Dex Entry No.912. Absozero. The Blizzard Pokemon. Ice Type. One of the sacred 9, Absozero creates strong Blizzard even Kyurem can't compare.
Alice says, "Thanks, Ash." Alice bows to him.
They head towards the castle, where they meet a girl with the aqua dress.
"Yuki. Nice to meet you here." Ash says.
"Same here. I take that all of you are here for the badge?" Yuki asks.
"Yes we are." Serena says.
Ash and Lillie decide to go first, as Yuki takes them inside the castle.
"As you know, I am the Ice Type Knight. You have to do 2 tasks before battling me." Yuki says.
She takes the two of them to a room with a lot of blocks of ice.
Yuki says, "The first task is to create an igloo."
"What? Igloo? That is really a hard one." Lillie says.
"Yeah, but with Pokemon by our side, we can make it." Ash says.
They take out Minfrez and Snowy to help build it, Ash and Lillie also help building, not long after, they build a perfect igloo.
"That is great, now please follow me to the second task."
Ash and Lillie follow and then they arrive at the room with a lot of snowball robots.
"You have to knock out all 4 robots by throwing snowballs with your Pokemon."
Ash says, "Alright, snowball fight time."
Lillie says, "Yeah, we can't lose."
Ash and Lillie all hide behind some barriers, then they throw the snowballs at them. They have the perfect aim as the four robots fall down easily.
"Now that is the fastest I have ever seen." Yuki says.
Lillie says, "Thanks."
"Now I can accept the challenge." Yuki says as she takes them to another room.
"So this is the battlefield?" Ash asks.
"Yes, my special rule is to have all 4 of your ice Pokemon out." Yuki says.
Ash and Lillie sends out Blenectric, Minfrez, Empoleon and Snowy.
"Great, now let's start the battle." Yuki says as the field starts to covered by mist.
"Oh, so we won't know who we are battling." Ash says.
Then they see Discharge coming and hits Minfrez, Minfrez shoots Flash Cannon at the place where the attack comes from.
"Wow, this is a little hard to see…we don't know if we have hit the Pokemon." Ash says.
"Yeah, maybe we should mega evolve for now." Lillie says.
Ash and Lillie mega evolve Blenectric. Snowy uses Dazzling Gleam, which seems to hit the Pokemon. And whenever the attacks come, they use their ice types to send them back.
They suddenly see a glow, Lillie says, "Yuki has made one of the Pokemon stronger…"
"We should be more careful." Ash says as they activate Electric and Steel Star Badge. Not long after, the mist clears and Yuki's field has a Mamoswine, a Blenectric, a Minfrez and an Avalugg.
"You defeat my Pokemon even though you can't see. I am proud of you. Here are the Ice Star Badge."
Lillie accepts the badge and thanks her, the others also have their turn and they get the badges.
Back outside, they also attend the Fropeak City's annual Ice Sculpture Festival, Ash and his friends can see a lot of sculptures of Pokemon.
"Wow, there is a Ninetales!" Lillie says as Serena and Lillie run towards it.
Ash says, "Alice, so you also made this festival?"
"Yes, pretty, right?" Alice says.
Yuki says, "You really made a good idea."
They also see the statues of Elsa and Anna, and even try out the frozen slide. After a fun time is over, they bid farewell to Alice and Yuki. Alice head towards the Tremin while Yuki goes back to her castle.
"Wow, that was fun." Ash says as they change back their causal clothes.
Cilan says, "Indeed, it really gives a cold yet sweet taste, like an ice cream with some chocolate syrup."
Gladion says, "I still don't know what you are talking about."
As they arrive at Dastro Town, they see Terry and Minami engaging in a conversation. As Ash sees them being lovey dovey, he coughs to gain their attention.
"Brother!" Minami says.
"It has been a while." Terry says.
"Yeah, but Minami, shouldn't you be at your city?" Ash asks as he raises his eyebrows.
"Well, yes. But I have finished, so I am waiting for you guys with Terry." Minami says.
Terry says, "Now that you are here, should we start?"
"Sure." Ash says.
As the usual process go, Ash has a Umbreon, a Houndoom and Jame's Malamar in his A Team.
"Now for the first Vigoratian Form, I have made these." Terry says as he sends out a black brown Totodile and a Croconaw with red clothes.
Totodile Vigoratian Form. Big Jaw Pokemon. Dark Type. It is small but rough and tough. It won't hesitate to take a bite out of anything that moves.
Croconaw Vigoratian Form. Big Jaw Pokemon. Dark Type. Evolved from Totodile at LV.18. Once it bites down, it won't let go until it loses its fangs. New fangs quickly grow into place.
"Totodile ane Croconaw huh?" Ash says as he sends out Feraligatr, even though it evolves, it still likes to dance in front of them, causing everyone giggle.
"Feraligatr, do you want to become Vigoratian Form?" Ash asks.
Feraligatr bites his head as approval, so Ash breaks free and Terry changes it. It is the same color as the Vigoratian Totodile and Croconaw.
Feraligatr Vigoratian Form. Big Jaw Pokemon. Dark Type. Evolved from Croconaw at LV.30. When it bites with its massive and powerful jaws, it shakes its head and savagely tears its victim up.
"Wow, you look cool, Feraligatr." Ash says as he gets bitten again.
Terry says, "It sure is, now here is the next Pokemon."
He sends out a Teddiursa and an Ursaring. They are much grayer and more evil like.
Teddiursa Vigoratian Form. The Little Bear Pokémon. Dark Type. This cute, cuddly Pokémon is easily frightened and frequently licks its paws, which are usually covered with sweet honey.
Ursaring Vigoratian Form. The Hibernate Pokémon. Dark Type. The Ursaring has such a keen sense of smell that it can even find food that has been buried.
"Wow, you really create the Pokemon?" Ash asks.
"It is crucial for the story of the town." Terry says.
He then sends out the Smeargle which looks black colored and have an evil smile.
Smeargle Vigoratian Form. The Painter Pokemon. Dark Type. Colored fluids ooze from their tails, which they use to mark their territory and to express themselves.
"The smile looks creepy..." Serena says.
"But that is a cool thing." Minami says.
Terry says, "That is it for the Vigoratian Forms. Next is the new Pokemon. Not too many, I only create 2."
Ash says, "Two is also fine. We already have a lot of Pokemon."
Minami says, "Really? I have made a lot like Golly."
Ash face pales as everyone laughs.
Terry sends out a clown like Pokemon with a yellow mask. He is doing tricks with electricity, Dawn claps and she gets shocked.
"Dawn!" Gladion says as he goes to her, "Are you okay?"
Dawn says, "What did I just do? How am I get shocked?"
Terry sighs as Ash shows her the Dex Entry.
Dex Entry No.852 Tricele, the Clown Pokemon. Electric and Dark Type. It likes to use Electricity to perform tricks, but when the audience claps, they will get electrocuted.
Terry says, "I want to warn you about it, but I am too late."
Minami says, "By the way, Dawn, your hair..."
Dawn then knows what she is saying and screams. Gladion says, "Terry, where is the nearest Pokemon Center?"
"Over there." Terry says as Gladion takes Dawn and leaves.
Cilan says, "What just happened?"
Ash says, "It is her nightmare, because of that hair style, she was bullied in Sinnoh after we separated. The other children will also nickname her Dee-Dee."
Serena and Lillie were giggling, but after hearing what Ash said, they feel ashamed of themselves.
"Okay, so there is a Tricele, what is next?" Ash asks.
Just then, they hear someone crying in the Dastro Forest, Cilan asks, "What is that?"
Terry says, "Well, that is another Pokemon I made... but it has some problems."
Ash and the others go towards the sound, they see a doll with the golden hair crying by the tree.
Dex Entry No.889. Teardoll. The Crying Pokemon. Psychic and Dark Type. Teardoll seldom smiles to others, since every time they often gives a crying face.
Ash asks, "Hey, Teardoll, are you okay?"
Teardoll keeps crying until Ash hugs her and she cries on his shoulder.
"It is fine, cry all you want. We won't be mad at you." Ash says.
Serena says, "Wow, Ash is so considerate."
"Yeah. I agree." Lillie says.
Ash asks, "Terry, what did you do to Teardoll?"
Terry says, "That is Teardoll's nature. I want to make a challenge to make them smile as the way to get the badges."
Minami says, "And it is hard to do so."
Ash nods as he says, "Teardoll. It is okay to be sad."
Then Teardoll stops crying and gives him a small smile, it isn't obivous, but Ash can feel it.
Then Teardoll shows them a tree which is full of badges, she helps them get them and give them to each one.
"Thanks, Teardoll." Ash says.
After Dawn and Galdion come back, Dawn asks, "Hey, who is that doll?"
Just then, the Teardoll starts crying again.
"Oh no, do I scare her?" Dawn says in a worry.
Terry says, "Don't worry, it is her nature."
Lillie says, "So the story of the town is Goldilocks and the three bears?"
Minami says, "You know it."
Ash then asks if she wants to come with them, Teardoll nods and goes in Ash's Pokeball.
"Now the town is over, we should go to Minami's next." Terry says.
Cilan asks, "Aren't you going to Tremin first?"
Terry says, "I will go with Minami."
Minami says, "Yeah, since we are on the same island."
Ash says, "You two really like being together, aren't you?"
The two teens blush as the others laugh.
It is another day for Team Rocket, as they are at the meeting to plan how to get in the barriers. Just then, they hear another rumbling.
"Now what?" Professor Oak says in annoyance.
Misty opens the door as water comes inside as the 20 people all wash outside the HQ, and much to their dismay, it is raining heavily.
"Now what?" Goodshow says.
They see Suicune, Kyogre, Regice, Palkia, Phione, Manaphy, Keldeo, Tapu Fini and Splaceus commanding the water.
"Of course it is those annoying legendaries." Oak says.
May sees Manaphy and says, "Manaphy! Why do you do this? I am your Mama!"
Manaphy says, "You are no Mama. You are bad guy."
May starts to tear up, she says, "That bastard has polluted Manaphy's mind!"
Splaceus says, "You have no one to blame but yourselves."
Palkia says, "I agree. I am glad that I have set up the barrier or the other innocent Pokemon will be involved."
Misty asks, "Who are you this time?"
Splaceus says, "And why should I tell you? You put me and my father in the jail back at Aqua Base."
May says, "No way, she is Reisa, Wallace's daughter."
Ariel says, "So as she escapes, she also becomes a Pokemon."

The Vigorate Part is about to end, the next chapter will be the last new Pokemon in Vigorate.
Ash won't challenge the league in Vigorate, Tremin and Sevestar, since he is already the Sevestar Champion. So after the challenge is done, he will only talk to the others before they leave the region.
