Yeah… this came quicker than usual. It ties up some loose ends from the last chapter. And I didn't intend for a reference to be in this story (or my other one) at all… but now I'm just gonna say they are all going to get VERY complex story wise now.

Chapter 14

Roxas looked around himself. All he saw was a white bliss. Namine was nowhere to be seen, and this place was not familiar. He thought that maybe this was the place that the door had sucked them both into when it opened, but since he couldn't see Namine, he put that thought to the side. The white bliss surrounding him dissipated, and he saw a girl with long hair and a white dress much like Namine.

"Namine!" He called out. The girl ignored him. Or maybe she couldn't hear him. He saw that she was putting together pieces of random bits of metal together to form some kind of toy body. All of it up to the chest was done, and beside her she had many more pieces. Roxas looked around at his surroundings. A single chair and table, with a window looking out into nothing. This seemed much like Namine's room back home. Across the room, he saw a white glowing light, it rose out of the room slowly. It felt like happiness was radiating from it.

Time passed, he watched the girl put in the final pieces of the body, she then moved towards him. He found himself moving downwards into the body. After a white flash of light, he found himself looking straight into the girl's face. She resembled Namine a lot.

"Can you move?" she asked.

Roxas tried moving his feet as to walk, but after a few steps he fell.

"It's alright, you'll get used to it. Rest easy for now…"

Roxas awoke on a beach, he felt something warm in his hand, entwined in his fingers. He moved his head slightly to the left and found Namine sitting up against the rock wall, her hand in his. He closed his eyes again, wanting to enjoy this moment some more. He heard her move, then suddenly felt something heavy on his stomach.

"If you're not gonna get up, at least say something Roxas."

He groaned in response. She smiled and rolled off of him, and down next to him, heads right next to each other. Roxas looked to his left again to see Namine looking right into his eyes.

After some silence, Namine moved in closer. Roxas then pulled her in closer still.

"How long are we going to stay like this?"

"No idea Namine. This beach is nice, don't you think?"

She looked up at the twilight sky. The clouds slowly moving across the sky as the sun slowly continued to set.

"Yeah, it is. But don't you think we should find out where we are?"

Roxas gave a slightly concerned look.

"Well… This isn't Destiny Islands. After we went through the door and the white light, we ended up here, "She laughed, "you really didn't want to wake up for a while though."

He thought back to what happened after he went through the door. There was the white light, and the girl with the room.

The girl! What else was there… then there was the toy looking thing, which I became, then she asked if I could move. I then tried walking, I fell. She said get rest…

Roxas was sweating slightly, and Namine could see that.

"Roxas? You alright?"

"Huh?" he looked over at her. "Uh, yeah. I'm fine, just thinking back to what has happened recently."

"I understand, it has been slightly stressful."

Namine then moved her other arm over Roxas and hugged him tightly.

"It's okay though. We're here together."

He smiled.

"Yeah, we are. Thanks Namine."

Xion stopped in an instant. Within her close view she could see Namine and Roxas lying on the beach together, hand in hand, and Namine hugging Roxas. She took a few steps back startled, and backed in Vanitas. He was surprised, but luckily didn't drop the 2 ice creams he had.

"What's wrong Xi?"

She looked up at him.

"We need to go somewhere else. There are people there and… and I know them."

He tilted his head to the side.

"Then why don't you go over? They would be your friends' right?"

Xion dropped her head.

"Well… yes. But it's the person I like and my best friend. I didn't think taking a break would have them come together so quickly."

"I understand. Let's go somewhere else."

She nodded in reply. Taking one of the ice creams from Vanitas.

Zach and - walked down the corridor, still following the mysterious girl.

"We're only a few turns away." She called out.

"Got it." Zach replied.

The girl turned around the corner just out of their eyesight. They followed her and found her standing still, staring at something. They then looked up slightly and saw a massive group of heartless.

"This might be too much to handle…" the mysterious girl said,

"No kidding." Zach replied.

- had no replied. She just pulled out her weapon and started to attack, killing a small chunk of the group. A spiked ball heartless came from above her, speeding down towards her head.

"-! Look out!" Zach yelled, trying to warn her.

She looked up, seeing the spiked heartless. She lifted the blade up quickly, and made it land on it, making it slide down to the hilt, killing it. Zach and the mysterious girl stood in awe as the group was slowly clearing out. A heartless with a sword jumped at her, she slashed at it, killing it. Few more did so as she spun in midair, killing them all. A few got in a few scratches to her arm, but no more than that. Another spiked ball heartless came from above her, followed by three more. She blocked the first one, sending it flying into the second one, knocking them both to the ground, killing them. She killed the third by thrusting her blade into it. Zach saw what was happening as the third one was closing in, she wouldn't have enough time to attack or block. He tried to run out, but the mysterious girl grabbed him by the collar, and defended him against a group of ten smaller heartless that were jumping his was. The spiked ball heartless smashed against -'s back, sending her to the ground face first. She groaned in agony. It jumped up again, smashing into her back again as she was caught between it and the ground. Zach and the mysterious girl heard multiple cracks as it landed on her. She screamed, louder than Zach had ever heard before. He ran out and slashed at the spiked ball heartless as it began it's third jump on her. It spun as he swung at it, sending his blade flying and knocking him back a little. The mysterious girl pulled him back away from it as it landed while spinning on -, leaving her as good as dead.

There you have it… how fun this last part was to write. I enjoyed it, I wanted to get rid of this character somehow and found a good way for new character development and also this will lead on to the complex story I mentioned at the start. Anyone catch the reference. Maybe not. Someone did in my other story though. No one got attached to the character known as - (or unnamed) right? No? Good.
