Disclaimer- I do not own Avatar: the Last Airbender. (Please don't sue me.)

Hello again! Wow, two updates within a week? What's going on with me? Actually, this is just my form of procrastination... which is bad. Isn't that great? I have three essays due (one of them being a 2000-word research essay, another a two-page chapter reflection, and the last one being a literary analysis essay) within three days of each other... starting tomorrow. Please, do not make the mistake of scheduling all of your classes into three days. Especially if you are a full-time student. (Actually, I'm considered way past full-time to the point where the counselors would consider me having "too many classes.") This is essentially a buffer between me and my insanity, so I think I'm willing to risk losing about an hour of working on these essays for that sake.

Anyways, thanks to Awesome JR because you are awesome (and not just for leaving a review)! And thank you to all of you who have added this compilation to your "favorites" and your "alerts!" I'm glad that you have decided to not burn me at the stake for these atrocities.

The poll is still open on my author bio, though by gauging the comments it seems that you guys enjoy the commentary. I'll continue it unless that poll says otherwise.

Long-winded author's note over, cower in fear for another wave of bad story-writing! (I decided to write out the name of the character instead of referring to them by their initials like in the original. I just want to, okay?)

New Day, New Life Chapter 5

(Denotes thoughts)

"Denotes actions"

{Denotes author commentary}

Aang: Let's go see if above then we can settle for a while.

Toph: That sounds great!

Sokka: It does kind of look a little like all four nations.

Zuko: It seems though. I've been here before. I think this used to be a place where people who travel and teach the Avatar trains. {Oh my gosh... That didn't even make sense!}

Iroh: ?

Katara: ?

Aang: ?

Sokka: ?

Toph: ?

{HA! Oh, I wish you guys could see the originals. There was actually only one set of ? next to what Iroh was supposed to say. But I also wanted all of them to say ?. So, I just drew arrows pointing to the ? like K: - ?.}

Zuko: Why are you looking at me like I am a lunatic? {Did I really know that word? Weird.} Nevermind, let's find a name for it.

Katara: I found one, Beautyful Haven. {I cringe at the typing of that name. Not only is it awful, but it's misspelled.}

Aang: That sounds perfect!

ON THE LANDS OF BEAUTIFUL HAVEN {Hey, there's no need to shout! Also, I have no idea how I spelled it incorrectly before, then spelled it correctly one line later. It's on the same freaking page!}

Aang: Can you teach me another move? Zuko? Zuko!

Z: Huh? What? Oh! Sure. I call this one firewall. This move does not burn anyone, but it looks like. It usually scares people. {More nonsense lines, from yours truly.}

Aang: How many people successfully did it?

Zuko: None.

Aang: O.o {What the heck was up with me and putting emoticons in writing?}

Zuko: Because I made it up! {That would also mean that you've never done it before, and wouldn't even know if it works... or if it is even possible.}

Aang: That makes sense. {No, it doesn't.}

Iroh was watching Zuko teach Aang the new move. Until Zuko showed Aang how to do it, gold fire formed in Zuko's hand. {*Slaps forehead* Really!?} Zuko didn't notice it and did the move anyway. When Aang did it, he just made regular red fire. Iroh walked up to them.

Iroh: How did you do that?

He pointed to the small flame in Zuko's hand.

Zuko: Whoa, I think that's what Roku meant at the Temple.

After lunch:

Sokka: Katara do you have anymore food?

Katara: Sorry that's all.

Iroh: Zuko, can I have more tea?

Zuko: Can you just think of something besides tea? {Of course I had to put the stereotype of Iroh and his tea.}

Iroh: Tea leaves!

Zuko smaked his hand on his face. {Me too, Zuko. Me too.}

Zuko: Besides anything that has to do with tea!

Iroh: I can't, ever since my son died, I try to keep my mind off of him. {Um, you can still think about other stuff... not trying to be insensitive.}

Zuko: Sorry about what I said earlier.

I: Appology accepted. {Did that conversation have anything to do with the story?}

Z: I'm going out for a walk.

Katara: I'm coming with you.

They both went into the forest.

Zuko: I was thinking. Maybe we can go out sometime? {Where would you take her out to, hm? The forest? I think you already did.}

K: Sure, as long Aang does not find out, he will be very angry.

Katara gave Zuko a peck on the cheeck. {Gosh darn bad grammar and romance-writing. At least we all know that I was still a relatively innocent child at eleven.}

The Next Day

Iroh: I found a library down east that had profecies from all found nations. {Spell-check please. I thought you said this place was uninhabited Aang! That's why you made that horrible suggestion at naming it!}

Aang: (Maybe I can find one that has me and Katara in it.) Sure, let's pack up!

At the library:

Worker: Welcome to the Profecy Library. {Nope, bad name again.} Would you like a map for the place?

Toph: Sorry I can't read. I'm blind.

Worker: Don't worry. They have books for blind people. {Isn't that convenient?} They have raised letters, so you can feel the letters instead of look at them. Also, I have a map for blind people like you who feel the grownd for vibrations. {Even more convenient. If I were there, I would be really suspicious right now. But this is the work of an elementary-school student, so meh. Plus, spell-check} First follow the engraved Arrows then feel the ground to where you are and the map. The map is engraved in the ground. {I knew how to spell "ground." What the heck was wrong with me and putting two different spellings? I let it slide a bit with "profecy."}

Toph: Thanks for the info. I'll go try the map. Hmmm... I'm right here and Earth is right there!

Aang: I'll look for Air.

Karata: I'll look for Water.

Zuko: And I'll be in Fire.

{Yup, go to your respective elements.}

Somehow four of those benders chose the same book from the four nations.

Zuko: Hmmm... The True Love Prophecy. {Really? Now I spell it right?}

Katara: Four benders travel with the Avatar. One of them four is not in the prophecy including the non-bender.

Toph: The water and fire benders fall in love.

Aang: Fire gained a little power. And Fire marries a water trible princess. (That meants Fire is a prince!)

Zuko: The avatar falls in love with the Earth princess. While Water and Fire joins together, which joins along with Air and Earth to make wold peace. All four of them will rule. While the non-bender falls in love with Fire princess.

They turn the page.

Katara: Whoa

Zuko: Whoa

Toph: Whoa

Aang: Whoa

The page glowed and glitter flowed down upon them.

Book: You four are the people who are part of the prophecy. The non-bender is the water princess brother, and the Fire princess is the Fire princes sister.

{Okay, so they're all royalty, the plot - if there was one - just got spoiled big time, and there's a horrible love hexagon. I almost want to call it a love pentagonal-dodecahedron, but that's kinda pushing it. If there isn't a welt on my forehead from slapping it so many times because this chapter, then there should be.}

On Appa:

Aang: That was one weird prophecy.

Zuko: What was it?

Aang: The True Love Prophecy.

Zuko: I read that one!

Toph: Me too.

Katara: Me three.

Zuko: Katara can't be a princess, can't she?

Katara: Actually, I am.

Aang But Toph isn't, -

Toph: I'm only half. {How can you be a half-royal? You're either royalty, or you aren't.}

Aang: But still.

Zuko: But on mine, it said "The Fire will soon die! I don't get it.

Aang: I might mean the war is over.

Katara: Or your dad is defeated.

Zuko: Or I am dead.

Katara: What?! {Here we go again...}

I really had something out against Zuko when I was a little girl. I have no idea why I liked to kill him off a lot, or even have the possibility of his death in these stories somewhere.

Until next time, my dear readers!
