A/N: Im sorry for not answering to your reviews personally as I used to do, but not having my own computer is a pain. In the library I don't have enough time to write, post and answer to reviews. So here it is. THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HAD REVIEWED THE LAST TWO CHAPTERS!

Jack nodded at Toshiko after her revelation about Gwen and ran towards the cog wheel door just in time to run right into Gwen Cooper who was entering the hub, looking pleased. When she saw Jack her face slackened a bit but she kept her smile.

"Where is Ianto?" Jack shouted urgently.

"I drove him home."Gwen answered with a little smile. "Poor lamb was in pain and knackered so I made sure he got home safely. There is his resignation letter. " She give Jack a list of paper and also gestured to Ianto's still working computer.

Jack looked at the paper incredulously and then at the computer screen which showed the same later that was printed on the paper only without the signature that was distinctively Ianto's. But why would Ianto resign, because that was strange enough, but not even informing him in person and sending Gwen instead that was plain suspicious. He read over the paper one more time and then looked at the rest of the team.

"Did he mention to anyone about resigning?" he asked his gaze lingering on Gwen.

Owen was the first to nod. "Yeah, he did. Tea Boy said that he was going to resign and then get rid of the baby."

Gwen looked shocked at Owen.

"What baby?" She asked.

"He is pregnant," jack informed her.

"Yes, it could happen because he had a woman's body two few weeks ago, but now is not the time for explanations." Owen told Gwen crossly anticipating the barrage of questions that she was preparing to ask by the look on her face. "Why did you leave him alone when he was in pain and after the injury he had on the field?"
But Gwen wasn't paying attention to what owen was saying. Not about the injury or even why she had got him home without asking his doctor first. All she could think about was that he was pregnant and probably just escaped serious injury and she had given him the retcon. They had never tested how retcon works on pregnant women, so far none of them had dared to recton an expecting mother. Or not to her knowledge anyway, for all they know some of the women they had retconed were pregnant just in really early stages. Ianto must be in one too, and none of the women had shown any bad side effects, he was going to be alright. Even then she couldn't stop a soft curse escaping her lips.

"What was that?" Jack asked her angry.

"Nothing," she protested.

"Gwen, what have you done?" Owen asked firmly, he wasn't blinded by her charm like Jack and could see that she felt guilty about something.

"I said is nothing!"

"And I say that is something because I know this look," Owen shouted back at her.

"I retconed Ianto," Gwen admitted chewing on her fingernail.

"You did what?" the voices of the rest of the three Torchwood members sounded in unison.

Jack took her by her shoulders and shook her with force enough to rattle her teeth for the moment forgetting that she carried his baby as well. Her hair fell around her face and she used it to hide her face and keep her eyes downcast.

"GWEN, WHAT DID YOU DO?" Jack shouted at her and shaking her one more time.

Tears started to leak down her cheeks and her big eyes looked scared. Jack wondered if she was scared of him, he wondered how he looked at this moment, because Gwen had never look scared of him, but at that moment he could not bring himself to care.

"I retconned him." She sobbed. "I did it because he resigned and that's the procedure to retcon the person. No one quits Torchwood and remembers it." Her sobbing had become almost hysterical by that point.

"And you are not the one to do it Gwen Cooper, you can't make this decisions for me. " Jack hissed at her angrily. "I'm the one who takes this decisions, I'm the one who is in charge. "

He squeezed her shoulders with a bruising force and looked her in the eyes with cold gaze, the blue eyes that she loved so much were now looking at her with the sharp coldness of an icebergs.

"I didn't know that he was caring a baby," she whispered softly. "Please Jack , you are hurting me."

Jack released his hold on her because he didn't want to hurt the mother of his other child, but his eyes never warmed up to the clear lakes of blue that she used to swim in.

"I'm going to Ianto's. I can't look at you right now Gwen. Go home!" Jack commanded her and waved Owen over to following him to Ianto's place.

Gwen sobbed again and made a move to reach out and take his hand to hold him but thought better of it and left her hand hanging in the air looking rejected. She wanted Jack and she wanted to make everything possible to have a nice and happy family with him, but she never meant to hurt Ianto so much. She knew that taking Jack would brake his heart, but he would have moved on after a while, they didn't love each other the way Jack loved her, except maybe she was wrong. She really never meant for Ianto to get that much hurt, he was her friend after all, she just wanted him to be happy with someone else not Jack. Oh, Gwen Cooper, what have you done, she thought to herself.

"I'm sorry," she hiccupped.
