Chapter 14: Why does everyone have to suffer?

December 23rd, early morning

Mei's POV

Everything is awful! I keep getting visions about N and Touko within their childhood. Both are sad and makes me feel like I want to scream, cry, and turn those evil fathers into ice sculptures. I wondered over the last few days everything about them, why is N so kind, and why Touko is strong and never afraid. Both are meant to be and keeping the very fact that I know where both are is hard. I went on my laptop to watch my favorite show, Venus Versus Virus. Before I even put my headphones on, I heard a shriek, young and hurting. I put everything down and hurried to the window. N somehow makes this easy. I climb onto the sill. I closed my eyes and jumped down a two story house.

I opened my eyes as I felt the ground under my feet. I was still alive, but the shrieking stopped and in its place I heard a shout of worry.

"Suzy! Open up! Are you okay?!" Oh, no not Suzy! I raced towards Hugh's house. I was stuck at the front door. They had a key hidden somewhere.. Aha! Found it! I opened the door and raced up the stairs to see Suzy's family staring at me then drew their attention back at the door.

" I got it." I say and walk to the door. I take a peek a the lock and created a key for it. I placed it in, turned and with a faint click the door was unlocked.

"Suzy-" Mrs. Alomalo started but I put my hand on her shoulder.

"You can't go in." I say, she stared at me infuriated.

"Who gave you the right to say I can't see my own daughter!" Pointing her finger.

"She's like me and if you go in," I took a breath Hugh looked down," She will kill you." She was scared and shocked," Let me go in. I'll get her back to normal." She nodded and backed away. Other souls were here,bad souls, that made me growl.

"Shadow Triad! Show yourself!" at the very moment they appeared, each family member gasped. They stood close as I surounded them with bars of ice. I quickly went in the room. Suzy sat in a seat towards a window. She turned her eyes were glowing green like Liepard's. Her nails grew long as she got up and looked at me completely.

"Suzy don't do anything crazy." I say . But she does the complete opposite. She charges with great speed and power. She jumps and scratches both cheeks and neck making me collapse.

"MEI!" Suzy shouts crying and grabing my shirt to see if I'm okay. THe door bursts open I turn slowly as the Alomalo family stood, shocked.

" I'll get the first aid kit!" Mr. Alomalo shouts.

"Sir, their is no need for that." I see kyruem approaching me.

"Heal." he says and I feel well again. I look around the room Hugh was at my side, so was Suzy, while Mrs. Alomalo sat in front of me.

"What is going on?" she asked. So I told her about that day at the mall to now. Suzy, Mrs. Alomalo looked shocked. Mr. Alomalo looked scared, Hugh remained calm.

"That's why you stopped me." I nod, "Thank You." I smile

"I'll walk you home Mei." Hugh said

"I'm sorry that I interupted the peace. Please don't be scared of me, like I am of myself." and walked off.

Later that day...

My eyes were clouded with visions when I went in my room. Each one was about N and Touko together. Surprisingly one had showed the two in pigtails*. Some how I have to make this party perfect. Not for myself but for them. Interrupting my thoughts a knock came from my door.

" Come in." I said in the quietist voice. Whoever at the door could hear me and came in. Turns out to be Suzy, Hugh, and Touko waiting for me.

" Come in the room." I said a little bit louder So they came. Touko was on the brink of tears because of one of the visions.

" Mei, how do you feel?" Hugh asked.

" Well, I feel like I was ambushed by you all." I said loud enough for Hugh to hear.

" Why was the Shadow Triad at Hugh's house?" Touko asked.

" They wanted to warn Hugh, knowing that his parents would have thought of their apperence as attempted kidnaping and robbery. They tried but they were too late Suzy was changed." All eyes widen.

" By who? Who changed Suzy?" Hugh said. His anger was going up.

" Cool it. They said Colress was doing this because his soul is gone and replaced by a certain man's."

Wow, weird huh. I decided to add a little bit more and i made one of Mei's visions my oneshot Pigtails! On purpose! Read and review!
