Magnus sat on the beach towel, book open in front of him -And he leaned in his hand on the other boy's chin- When he was sat on.

"Magnus!" Alec whined. "Don't you wanna go swimming?"

"Alec, will you get off my back?" Magnus replied calmly from underneath him.

"Not until you say you'll go swimming."

"Okay, okay. I'll go swimming." And with that Alec got off Magnus's back, waiting for the warlock to move.

"Well?"

"Well what?" Magnus acted innocent.

"You said you'd go swimming."

"Yes, I did say that." Magnus confirmed. Alec waited a moment in silence.

"And are you coming?"

"No."

"What? But you said you would!" Alec complained loudly, causing a few people to stare.

"I lied." The warlock replied casually, turning the page. Alec pouted and sat on the towel next to his boyfriend.

"Well, then I'll have to make you!"

"Oh yeah? And how do you plan on doing that?"

"Like this!" The Shadowhunter shouted as he started tickling Magnus's bare stomach. Magnus started laughing and flailing and tying to kick and shove Alec away from him, almost kicking him in the face.

"Alec," he sounded out of breath, wheezing while still being tickled. "Alec!" laugh. "Stop!" laugh. "Tickling!" laugh. "ME!" Alec smirked and leaned back, leaving Magnus gasping and trying to catch with breath.

"Now will you go swimming?" He sounded smug.

"Nope." Magnus smirked back.

Alec took a threatnng steo forward, fingers extended n Magnus's direction. "OKAY! OKAY! I'LL GO SWIMMING!" Magnus shouted and dashed toward the small lake.

Alec followed right behind, splashing Magnus when he complained about the cold temperature.

"Hey check this out!" Magnus shouited, using magic to manipulate the waves to hold him up on top of the water, then he leaned forward and spread his arms. The water followed his movements, making the warlock appear to be surfing with a board. He let the Magic go and all the water from the wave crashed down onto Alec.

"I'm gonna get you for that!" And with that shout from Alec he tackled his boyfriend into the water, stealing a kiss on the way down.
