Wow, the first time that I tried to put three episodes into one chapter, but at least it was less than 10,000 words like a certain previous chapter I did. Anyway, I wanted to finish this chapter as fast as I could, so this could be rushed. You will be in for a surprise for this one, so please enjoy, review and fav!
Chapter 13 - Field of Screams
"Jaden, I told you, I'm fine". Jaden heard this from Roxas, as he carried Roxas to the infirmary. Since last night, Jaden wanted to take Roxas to the infirmary, but he fell asleep as soon as they reached the dorm, to check if Jaden's friends were alright. Once it was morning, Roxas was well rested, but he was still injured from Nightshroud's duel. Jaden helped Roxas walk towards the infirmary. "You shouldn't push yourself like this, a hero needs his rest". Roxas smirked a little. But Roxas thought back to the duel he had with Nightshroud.
Before he got his mobian deck on his first world adventure, Roxas owned a Red-Eyes Black Dragon deck. So when he saw Nightshroud using Red-Eyes in his deck, he felt upset and he missed having his old deck. With nothing much to talk about, Roxas turned his thoughts into a confession. "Hey Jaden..." Jaden looked at him. "... remember when Nightshroud summoned his Red-Eyes Black Dragon?" Jaden nodded and he was curious to what Roxas would say. "Well, seeing that dragon... made me upset..."
Jaden was confused, why would Roxas be upset? "...You see Jaden, way before I met you, I travelled to a different place far away from here. But this is the important part... my original deck was a Red-eyes deck". Jaden stopped walking and paused. "Huh? What do you mean?" With his free hand, Roxas showed his deck to Jaden. "My deck changed from a Red-Eyes deck to this one!" Jaden was quite surprised to say the least, it was hard to believe a deck would just change by itself. "I may have put my heart into making that deck, but to be honest, this deck is more fun to play with". Jaden smiled and secured Roxas in a comfortable position and continued walking to the infirmary.
"Yeah, I prefer your current deck too". Roxas smiled at Jaden. 'I'm kinda glad to tell him about my past, even a little bit...' Roxas looked at what's in front of him. "How close is the infirmary?" From the amount of months he's been in, Jaden knew of certain facilities that were on the island. "Not far now". Roxas nodded and he wanted to say something. "I wonder if Atticus is okay?" Jaden looked at Roxas. "I recon he'll been fine, besides you'll be the closest to him than any of us". Roxas smiled. "True, so do you know who is the next Shadow Rider?" Jaden shook his head. "No idea, but I guess the Chancellor would let me and the others know".
It took less than an hour, but both Jaden and Roxas arrived and were inside the infirmary. Jaden guided Roxas to his assigned room and he was being taken care of by Nurse Fontaine. Jaden let go of Roxas as he was seated on the bed and his PDA ringed a couple of times. It was the Chancellor requesting Jaden to come to his office immediately. "I gotta go, I'll see you later, Roxas". Roxas waved back and Jaden left the room, leaving Roxas alone in the room. "Okay guys, it's safe now". To Roxas's left side, Scrap King appeared and to the right side was Gleam Thief.
"Are you alright, Roxas?" Roxas looked around just to check if anyone was in the room. "A little beaten up, but I'll manage". Gleam Thief heard the conversation before and he asked Roxas, "Is it true what you said? That you originally had a Red-Eyes Black Dragon deck before us?" Roxas nodded slowly. "Yeah, but you guys are better to have around". Roxas stood up slowly, trying to ignore the pain and walked towards a curtain next to him. "Take it easy! You need to heal". Roxas ignored Scrap and opened the curtain. His eyes widened at who was lying on the bed. It was Alexis's brother, Atticus. "Is that the duelist you faced?" Roxas nodded, "Yeah, but I think that mask was possessing him somehow".
Unbeknownst to Roxas or Scrap, a bat was spying on the three. Gleam Thief noticed the bat and warned them. "Guys, we're being watched". Roxas turned around to see a small black bat with red glowing eyes. 'This doesn't feel right...' Roxas aimed his hand at the bat and generated a chaos spear, which shot the bat and killed it. "Strange, why is there a bat in broad daylight? Unless..." Roxas looked at both Scrap and Gleam. "Guys, while I'm still healing, I want you to go and investigate the academy. Find any new information, any rumors you can find".
Scrap and Gleam nodded. "You leave it to us. If we see Jaden, we will tell him to inform you first". Scrap and Gleam disappeared after saying that and Roxas smiled. "Good luck guys, stay safe". Roxas studied the bat spy he had killed. He felt a little bad for killing the animal, but he had a bad feeling that it was the start of something evil. 'Who would spy on us? Could it be... the new Shadow Rider?'
In the hallways of Duel Academy, the duel spirits of Scrap King and Gleam Thief were out of sight from the students. They were doing their best to not be seen, but they were listening to any information, for their duelist friend. For what seemed like half an hour, they couldn't find much, but it was then that they found something interesting. "Did you hear what happened last night? A boat with a coffin in it showed up near the academy and get this, it's a vampire!" The other student who was listening was surprised. "A vampire?"
The two duel spirits contintinued to listen until they had enough information to go on. They disappeared from the hallway, back to the infirmary room where Roxas was. "We got some news for you". Roxas looked up to see his duel spirit spies. "What did you find out?" Gleam nodded to let Scrap talk. "There's a rumor going around that a vampire is at the school". Roxas looked at the door as he recalled something. "That explains what Jaden was talking about earlier, the Chancellor thinks this 'vampire' is the next Shadow Rider. Problem is that I'm still healing from before and can't help the others this time". Scrap and Gleam went near Roxas and touched his back.
"You don't have to do this alone". Roxas closed his eyes and looked at Atticus. "I know, but I don't want anyone to get hurt because of me". Roxas got up and walked towards Atticus. He noticed a cord around his neck, from investigating this, he followed the cord to find a piece of ancient jewelry hanging from it. "What's this?" Everyone had a look at the piece of pendant, it was quite a small piece, but it looks like a part of something bigger. "Hey, isn't that?" Roxas looked at Gleam Thief as he wondered what he was talking about. "What's the matter, Gleam?" Gleam answered, "This looks similiar to that pendant that Jaden has, maybe it's the other half of it". Roxas took another look at the pendant and now knew what Gleam Thief meant. "You're right. But what does this pendant do?" Roxas left the pendant where it was and laid down on his bed with his hands behind his head.
Later that day...
Roxas was healing rather well, he was walking a bit better than before, but he still had a couple of scrapes throughout his body. It had been rather boring for Roxas as there was not much to do. He couldn't leave the room as himself or as Aero, due to the fact that there was a lot of staff around that were around or coming to the room frequently. It was night time and Roxas wondered if the key holders are facing the next shadow rider right now. His thoughts turned to reality as he saw Syrus and Jaden coming to his room. "Hey guys, what's wrong? You look like you're out of breath".
From what Roxas said, Jaden and Syrus looked like they ran a long way. "Crowler went against the shadow rider, Camula and lost! She put his soul into a doll!" Roxas' eyes widened, whoever this Camula is, this shadow rider was more deadly than the last. "Camula did what? I need to take her down!" Roxas stood quickly and was about to run, but he still felt a bit of pain shot through his legs. "Just great, I'm still injured after resting for a day". Seeing this, Jaden and Syrus gently put Roxas back on the bed. "You need to rest, Roxas. My brother Zane can win against Camula, he's going to duel her next". Roxas felt bad for not helping out, but in some way, he knew Syrus was right. There were other duelists that were strong enough to protect the keys, like Zane and Jaden.
"Okay, you're right. but could you at least guide me to the place where Zane is gonna duel?" Syrus nodded. "Of course we will". Roxas smiled, but disappered when he saw Jaden's pendant. "Jaden, could I have a closer look at that pendant of yours?" Jaden was curious about what Roxas was planning, but he let Roxas take it. Roxas held the pendant and went towards Atticus, he held the pendant in a way that matched the shape of the other piece. "Looks like Atticus has the last piece". Roxas gently removed the pendant from Atticus and gave the two pieces to Jaden. "I have a feeling that these could be handy, you better keep a hold of them".
The Next Night...
As planned, Jaden and Syrus helped Roxas go to the castle where Camula was waiting. Jaden kept the two pieces of the pendant and except for Alexis who was looking after Atticus, all of the keyholders were watching Zane's duel against Camula. "I must say, out of all the keyholders, you seem to be the most attractive. You know what will happen if you lose, your soul would be put into this doll". Camula showed a doll that looked like it could be used for voodoo. It looked quite plain, made of cotton and filled with straw. Zane said nothing and prepared his duel disk, ready to duel. "DUEL!"

Camula's Turn
Camula drew her card and place a monster down on her duel disk. Her duel disk was mostly gold and dark purple in colour, it was in the shape of a bat's wing. "I summon Vampire Lady". The monster Camula put down was in defense mode.
Vampire Lady - ATK 1550 DEF 1550 LV4 Zombie / Effect - DARK
When this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent: Declare 1 card type (Monster, Spell, or Trap); your opponent sends 1 card of that type from their Deck to the Graveyard.
"I set one card face down, your turn, handsome". Roxas looked at Camula, thinking why she said handsome to Zane. Did she think that Zane was handsome?
Zane's Turn
"I draw". Zane drew the card, Power Bond. "I activate my spell, Power Bond to fuse my three Cyber Dragons from my hand to summon the Cyber End Dragon!" Three metallic dragons showed themselves onto the field, but were soon combined to become a three headed metallic dragon.
Power Bond - Normal Spell
Fusion Summon 1 Machine-Type Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters from your hand or your side of the field as Fusion Materials, and it gains ATK equal to its original ATK. During the End Phase of the turn this card is activated, you take damage equal to the amount of ATK gained from this effect at the time of the Summon.
Cyber End Dragon - ATK 4000 DEF 2800 LV10 Machine / Fusion / Effect - LIGHT
"Cyber Dragon" + "Cyber Dragon" + "Cyber Dragon"
A Fusion Summon of this card can only be done with the above Fusion Material Monsters. If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage to your opponent.
Cyber End Dragon - 8000 ATK
"Wow, he's not wasting anytime". Roxas smiled at Jaden, it was true, Zane was planning a one-turn victory. 'But there's that face down of hers, it could be a big trap...' Zane wasted no time as he declared his attack. "Cyber End Dragon, attack her Vampire Lady!" Just like Roxas suspected the face down was activated. "I play my trap, Red Ghost Moon. I discard my Zombie Werewolf to gain life points equal to your monster's attack and it ends the battle. I thought you were better than this, darling".
Red Ghost Moon - Normal Trap
Activate only during your opponent's Battle Phase. Discard 1 Zombie-Type monster. Gain Life Points equal to the ATK of 1 Attack Position monster your opponent controls. Then, end the Battle Phase.
Zane cringed his teeth. "In that case, I activate the spell, De-Fusion to split my dragon to three Cyber Dragons!" The metallic dragon went from one light to three smaller lights.
De-Fusion - Quick-Play Spell
Target 1 Fusion Monster on the field; return that target to the Extra Deck, then, if all the Fusion Material Monsters that were used for its Fusion Summon are in your Graveyard, you can Special Summon all of them.
Cyber Dragon - ATK 2100 DEF 1600 LV5 Machine / Effect - LIGHT
If your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand).
Bastion nodded as he seemed relieved. "Now the effect of both Power Bond and Red Ghost Moon can't use their effects". Roxas nodded. "Yeah, but it was a close one. He could've have ended it that turn". Zane set a face down card and ended his turn.
Camula's Turn
Camula draws the monster card, Vampire Genesis. "I sacrifice my Vampire Lady to summon Vampire Lord".
Vampire Lord - ATK 2000 DEF 1500 LV5 Zombie / Effect - DARK
When this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent: Declare 1 card type (Monster, Spell, or Trap); your opponent sends 1 card of that type from their Deck to the Graveyard. During your next Standby Phase after this card in your possession was destroyed and sent to your Graveyard by an opponent's card effect: Special Summon this card from the Graveyard.
"But he won't stay out for long, as I summon my ultimate monster! I remove Vampire Lord from play to summon Vampire Genesis!"
Vampire Genesis - ATK 3000 DEF 2100 LV8 Zombie / Effect - DARK
Cannot be Normal Summoned. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 1 "Vampire Lord" you control, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Once per turn: You can discard 1 Zombie-Type monster to the Graveyard, then target 1 Zombie-Type monster in your Graveyard with a Level less than the discarded Zombie-Type monster's; Special Summon that target.
"I never seen that card before". Chazz explained for Roxas. "It lets you discard a zombie-type monster to get another zombie-type monster in your graveyard. Didn't you learn this in class?" Roxas looked at Chazz, he noticed that Chazz was a little less insulting than he was before. Whatever that trip did to him changed his attitude. "Say goodbye to your Cyber Dragon, Vampire Genesis, attack!" Zane's face down activated. "Trap activate, Attack Reflector Unit!"

Cyber Barrier Dragon - ATK 800 DEF 2800 LV6 Machine / Effect - LIGHT
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except with "Attack Reflector Unit". Once per turn, while this card is in Attack Position, your opponent's next attack is negated.
"Now by activating its ability, I can negate this attack as long as Cyber Barrier Dragon is in attack mode". The attack Vampire Genesis made was negated and Camula ended her turn.
Zane's Turn
Zane drew the spell, Pot of Greed. "I'll start by activating Pot of Greed to draw two cards, then activate the spell, Photon Generator Unit".
Photon Generator Unit - Quick-Play Spell
Tribute 2 "Cyber Dragons". Special Summon 1 "Cyber Laser Dragon" from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard.
"With this, I can sacrifice my two Cyber Dragons to summon Cyber Laser Dragon!"
Cyber Laser Dragon - ATK 2400 DEF 1800 LV7 Machine / Effect - LIGHT
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except with "Photon Generator Unit". Once per turn, you can destroy 1 monster with ATK or DEF equal to or higher than the ATK of this card.
"I now activate its effect to destroy your Vampire Genesis!" A laser shot Vampire Genesis, destroying it. "Yes! She's defenseless! Get him big bro!" Syrus cheered for his big brother. "Cyber Barrier Dragon, Cyber Laser Dragon, attack Camula directly!" Camula's life points dropped down drastically. But she smiled. "This was the person that I was waiting for many years. But I'm afraid it's over". Zane showed no reaction, but replied, "We'll see". Zane set a face down.
Camula's Turn
Everyone seemed confused at what Camula was talking about. Zane was winning this duel by a huge margin, but she still think she was going to win? Camula drew her card, which was Illusion Gate. "I activate my ultimate spell, Illusion Gate!" The shadow charm that Camula was wearing, which was a neckband with a red jewel in the centre, glowed bright red. After it brighten up, Camula was split into two seperate images. "Woah, am I seeing double here?"
Illusion Gate - Normal Spell
Destroy all monsters on your opponent's side of the field. After, select 1 monster in your opponent's Graveyard and Special Summon it to your side of the field, ignoring the Summoning conditions. At the end of this turn, your Life Points are reduced by 90 percent.
The door from the spell appeared behind Camula. "This spell can destroy all monsters on both sides of the field, then I can summon a monster from either one of our graveyards..." The other Camula image explained. "...but we have to offer our soul to the Sacred Beasts to activate this. Unless..." The said copy of Camula came down next to Syrus and grabbed him to the dueling platform. She bit him on the neck to get him ready to be sacrificed. "I will bring your Cyber End Dragon to my side of the field!"
Zane cringed at the fact that his brother was going to be the one sacrificed to the Sacred Beasts. "Now you must choose darling, you can protect yourself with that little face down of yours or lose to save your brother". Zane gasped and looked at his face-down, how did she knew the face-down was something that could protect him? Roxas remembered that bat in his room at the infirmary and he understood why she knew the card. The bats were to analyse everyone's decks. Roxas clenched his fists. 'She's a cheater! She knew our decks and strategies! I gotta become Aero and take her out myself!'
Zane has a difficult choice to make, he could use Call of the Haunted to bring back Cyber Barrier Dragon to negate the attack with its effect, hoping to draw something next turn. But he couldn't do anything that could save his brother's life. "Please Zane, finish this duel. You can't let the Sacred Beasts cards activate!" Zane was stuck, but he had to admit something before he made his move. "Syrus, you have improved your skills as a duelist ever since you've come here. I can't let you get sacrificed, so go ahead and attack me".
Camula smiled as she baited him to the trap. Cyber End Dragon attacked Zane and Zane lost all of his life points as he fell from the intense attack. Zane's body disappeared and the spirit key that was on him, fell on the ground, but vanished soon after.

Roxas sneaked away from the keyholders and hid in a place, so that no one can see him transform. 'Good, no one saw me'. Roxas closed his eyes as his sword appeared and it glowed white as well as his body. Roxas' figure changed from human to mobian, he opened his eyes and said to himself with determination. "Chaos Control". Near where Zane had dueled, a voice spoke loud enough for everyone to hear. From the sound of it, it sounded angry. "YOU ARE GONNA PAY FOR THIS!" Everyone looked to see a strange being walk on the same spot that Zane was in.
"Hey, it's that guy from before". Chazz cocked his head to the side and Jaden stated the name. "It's Aero!" Camula looked away from Aero in disgust. "I have what I need, I don't have time for you". Camula was about to leave, but in a split second, Aero was beside her. "Oh no you don't! You're not going anywhere until you duel me!" Using his super speed, Aero put a special power ring on Camula's left wrist and went in front of Jaden. "Jaden, I need your pendant, both parts". Jaden felt it was quite sudden, but he trusted Aero enough than anyone else. Jaden nodded. "Just don't lose them". Aero smiled and wore the pendants around his neck. "Bit big for me, but I'll manage". Then in a split second, he was back at the platform.
Camula tried to leave, but the power ring that Aero put on Camula's wrist, electricuted and stopped Camula from going anywhere. "Like I said, you're not going anywhere. That ring I put on you will not come off and will keep you here until this match is over. If I win, you return the souls you've taken, but if you win..." Aero went through his quills on the back of his head to find a key similiar to the keyholder ones. "...you get my key and soul!" Everyone except Aero and Camula gasped, was Aero risking his life? Camula narrowed her eyes with anger. "You'll regret this!" Both duelists got their duel disks ready and shouted out, "DUEL!"

Aero's Turn
Aero's hand contained Shadow, Chaos Control, Sonic Dash, Eggman Plan 2, Wave and the card he drew was the spell, Job Request. 'Should I do this? Should I use this card now?' Aero looked back at his hand and studied his move. 'No... it's too early for that. I'll use it when things get bad for me'. Aero picked a card from his hand and activated it. "Time to do some swapping with this, the spell, Chaos Control!"
Chaos Control - Normal Spell
Return 1 "Mobian" monster from your hand to the Deck. Add 1 "Mobian" monster from your Deck to your hand.
'Seems fitting for the one I'm swapping with'. "This card lets me choose a mobian monster from my hand and put it back into my deck. Then I can choose a different mobian monster from my deck and add it to my hand. So I return Shadow to the deck and get Chaos to my hand. Now I summon, Chaos in defense mode!"
Chaos - ATK 100 DEF 1800 LV2 Sea Serpent / Effect - WATER
This card is treated as a Mobian-Type Monster. When this card is Normal or Special Summoned to the field, this card gains 1 Speed Counter. Once per turn, if this card has been targeted by an opponent's monster, you can remove 1 Speed Counter to negate that attack. If "Tikal" is on your side of the field, you can equip this card to "Tikal".
"I set a card down and end my turn".
Camula's Turn
Camula smiled, showing her fangs more. "I would suspect more of a fight from you. I summon my Zombie Werewolf!"
Zombie Werewolf - ATK 1200 DEF 1200 LV4 Zombie / Effect - DARK
When this card is destroyed by battle, you can Special Summon a card with the same name from your Deck and it gains 500 ATK.
"My werewolf can't attack your monster, so I end my turn".
Aero's Turn
'It's true, she doesn't have enough attack power to defeat Chaos. Doesn't matter, I've got this... she's going down!' Aero drew the mobian, Rouge. Aero closed his eyes with a smile. "It's go time! I activate my spell card, Job Request!"
Job Request - Normal Spell
Pay 1000 Life Points. When you pay the cost, you can Special Summon "Vector", "Espio" and "Charmy Bee" to your side of the field. You cannot declare an attack or activate any Effect Monster's effects this turn.
"This card let's me pay a thousand life points to summon the members of Team Chaotix! Espio! Vector! Charmy!"
Espio - ATK 1300 DEF 1500 LV3 Reptile / Effect - EARTH
This card is treated as a Mobian-Type Monster. When this card is Normal or Special Summoned to the field, this card gains 1 Speed Counter. Once per turn, if this card is being attacked by an opponent's monster, you can remove 1 Speed Counter on Espio; when you do, banish this card until the end of the Battle Phase.
Vector - ATK 1800 DEF 1000 LV4 Reptile / Effect - WATER
This card is treated as a Mobian-Type Monster. When this card is Normal or Special Summoned to the field, this card gains 1 Speed Counter. Once per turn, by removing 1 Speed Counter, you can select 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field. That selected monster cannot change its battle position or declare an attack until your next Standby Phase.
Charmy Bee - ATK 100 DEF 700 LV1 Insect / Tuner - EARTH
This card is treated as a Mobian-Type Monster. When this card is Normal or Special Summoned to the field, this card gains 1 Speed Counter. Once per turn, by removing 1 Speed Counter, you can send 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard to draw 1 card.
Aero - 3000
Everyone looked amazed with Aero's playing style. "He summoned three monsters at once?" Aero looked at Bastion and smiled at him. "That's nothing. I've got a surprise for you all and it starts with this! I summon Wave the Swallow!"
Wave - ATK 1000 DEF 1200 LV3 Winged-Beast / Tuner - WIND
This card is treated as a Mobian-Type Monster. When this card is Normal or Special Summoned to the field, this card gains 2 Speed Counters. Once per turn, if your opponent activates a Spell or Trap Card, you can remove 1 Speed Counter on this card to negate and destroy that card.
"Now here comes the surprise, Wave isn't just a level three monster, it's a level three tuner monster!" Everyone was quiet, but Aero could tell they were confused. "Tuner monsters let me do this special kind of summoning. So here goes, I tune the level three, Wave with the level two, Chaos!" Wave changed into three green rings and Chaos' form became two small lights. "I summon the synchro monster, Egg Dragoon!"
Egg Dragoon - ATK 2300 DEF 1200 LV5 Machine / Synchro / Effect - EARTH
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
This card is treated as a Mobian-Type Monster. This card cannot be destroyed by battle. At the start of the Damage Step, destroy that monster immediately (without damage calculation). During each of your Standby Phases, this card loses 100 ATK.
Everyone was at awe at the monster, Bastion sort of understood what had happened. 'So by combining the levels of the monsters, he can summon a high level monster?' Compared to Bastion, Jaden didn't have a clue. "I am totally lost here". Aero giggled a little. 'Typical Jaden, doesn't understand anything complicated'. Aero turned to see the keyholders. "I can see that you guys are totally confused. Here, let me show you how it works again, I tune my level one Charmy, with my level three Espio and my level four Vector!" Just like with Wave and Chaos, they became rings and stars and formed a new being, this one being a lot bigger than Egg Dragoon, but small enough to fit the hall. "I synchro summon my ace, Sonic Boom Dragon!"
Sonic Boom Dragon - ATK 2600 DEF 1800 LV8 Dragon / Synchro / Effect - WIND
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
This card is treated as a Mobian-Type monster. When this card is Synchro or Special Summoned to the field, this card gains 3 Speed Counters. Once per turn, this card gains 1 Speed Counter (max 10). You can destroy a number of cards on the field by removing Speed Counters for each card you want to destroy. If this card has 2 or less Speed Counters, this card cannot declare an attack.
Aero's right arm was slightly glowing, due to a mark he had. It was getting slightly covered from the balcony posts blocking the view. Aero was slightly worried that his mark would get discovered, but it doesn't look like anyone has noticed. "Now with these two out, I activate the spell, Sonic Dash!"
Sonic Dash - Quick Play Spell
You can give 1 "Mobian" on your side of the field, Speed Counters for the amount of "Mobian" monsters on your side of the field.
"The thing about my mobian monsters, is that they gain certain counters for when they are summoned in any way. So thanks to this spell, I can give speed counters to one of my mobians for the amount of mobian monsters on my field, and I choose Sonic Boom Dragon to give the counters to!"

"Now for the finale! I remove a speed counter to destroy your Zombie Werewolf!" Sonic Boom Dragon glowed white a little and Zombie Werewolf was destroyed into many pieces. "Now Egg Dragoon, Sonic Boom Dragon, attack Camula directly and end this!" The Egg Dragoon MkII used its laser gun to shoot at Camula then Sonic Boom Dragon charged up its elemental breath made out of chaos energy.

Camula turned to dust as the bright light from the attack blinded her vision. As the dust blew away from the wind, the shadow charm she was wearing fell to the ground, as well as the special power ring and the Zane doll. But it wasn't a doll anymore as Zane was shown, unconcious and the Crowler doll that was in Chazz's jacket pocket was gripping onto his jacket. Using his super speed once again, Aero grabbed the power ring and was in front of Jaden. Seeing that Jaden wasn't holding hands or touching anyone, Aero got the opportunity to talk to Jaden in private. Aero grabbed his hand and said, "Chaos Control!" When they both disappeared, everyone was shocked as to where they went of to.
Outside the Red Dorm...
One of Aero's meeting places was a small clearing on the coast, it had a rock that was smooth enough to rest your head on. A flash of white glowed the area a little and emerging from the glow was Aero and Jaden. Aero landed easily, but Jaden fell on his belly. He got up quickly. "Why did you leave my friends there?" Aero looked at the sea. "Sorry but... I wanted to talk to you in private". Jaden had calmed down after hearing this, this was probably why Aero left his friends there. Aero sat down and took a deep breath. "You better sit down... because what I'm about to tell you, may shock you". Jaden sat down, not just because Aero said so, but because his legs felt sleep from standing too long.
"You know how superheroes have secret identities?" Jaden nodded. "Well... I think it's time you found out who I really am. But you must promise me to keep it a secret. Understood?" Jaden took a step back. "Woah, hang on! I thought you were just a mobian! What do you mean by secret identity? Who are you?" Aero closed his eyes, dreading on what he was saying. 'Here we go...' "I think it would be best to just show you..." Aero summoned his sword in his right hand, Jaden jumped at the sudden appearance of the sword. "You might want to cover your eyes for a moment".
Jaden didn't have much time to ask, as Aero's body shined brightly white. Aero's form was changing, it was becoming taller and more human-like in shape. The light dimmed, then when no light was shown, Jaden uncovered his eyes and from the fraction of a second that he saw Aero, he gasped, but also amazed at who he saw. "Roxas?" Roxas smiled. "Yep, I was Aero all along". Jaden seemed shocked, he couldn't believe that all the times he was Aero, it was actually Roxas. "Wait, so that time at the Abandonded Dorm, the Ancient Ruins, that was all you?" Roxas nodded. "Here's your pendant back, it suits you more". Roxas took off the two pendants and held them, Jaden took them without heistation.
"You must have many questions for me". Jaden thought about it, he was questioning himself about what Roxas or what Aero did back at the castle. "How did you get to me so fast?" Roxas smiled at the question. "I'm glad you asked that, it all started with a dream that happened one night". Jaden added in, "A dream?" Roxas nodded. "Yes, I dreamt I was on this floating island, full of trees, rivers and waterfalls and when I looked at my reflection in the water, I saw my mobian self. I was totally confused at the time, but I ignored the transformation and explored the island. I found nothing interesting, until I found this stuck in a big stone". Aero had his right arm out and summoned his Sword of Chaos out, Jaden looked at the sword with fascination.
"When I grabbed this sword, I felt this unbearable pain throughout my whole body. But when the sword came out the stone, my dream ended and I was back in my room as my normal human self. But I found out that I had a gift, the gift of super speed, chaos powers and tranformation from human to mobian". Jaden widened his eyes. "So that's how you went in front of me so fast!" Roxas nodded, happy to know Jaden is figuring things out. "The next day, I had another dream of the same island as before, but it was more of an informative visit as I found Knuckles and the Master Emerald. They told me about the sword's powers and abilities, but not much about its origins".
Jaden didn't have much to say after that. He was amazed that Roxas had been through so much, but he was pumped. His friend was a superhero! "Man, this is so cool! You're a superhero!" Roxas smiled. "But remember, you've got to keep a secret". Jaden replied, "Yeah, yeah, I know. Hey, you said synchro summon back in that duel. Could you explain it to me?" Roxas nodded, he was expecting that question. "Synchro summoning is a way of special summoning from the extra deck like fusion summoning, but instead of monsters, you have to add the levels up and it requires tuner monsters like this one".
Roxas showed the card Wave to Jaden, he pointed out where you find out if the monster is a tuner. "See? Tuner monsters will be mentioned here, use these and you can summon synchro monsters". Jaden studied the card more, but Roxas thinking that Jaden had seen enough, he put Wave back into his deck. "Maybe some day I'll reveal my identity, but I think it's best to stay low for a while". Jaden gave a thumbs up. "Don't sweat it, we can take care of the other Shadow Riders while you take a break". Roxas stood up. "Thanks Jaden".
