When I open my locker the following Monday I am greeted by a note falling to the floor. Curious I bend down and open it.

Choir room now-B

I slam my locker shut and race to the choir room.

"Blaine what is it?" I ask as I enter the room. Blaine joins me and leads me to a chair as Mr Schue comes in and quietens us all down

"We have someone who wants to audition so show them some respect"

"What is the point? We lost sectionals. We are finished" Sam says before being shushed by Marley. The door opens and my mouth hits the floor.

"Hi everyone my name is Nick Duval and I am going to sing for you" with that he walks to the piano and begins to play

I sit and wait

The instrumental kicks in and I look at the others in the room. They all seem shocked, some look in awe as Nick launches into the last chorus.

Everyone applauds. Everyone except Sam and Artie.

"Why would you leave the Warblers when they are going to regionals and we're not?" Asks Sam.

"God give it up Sam. Look there is no way that Nick would fake how he felt for Lucy. He has come here for the same reason that I did with Kurt. Because we want to be closer to the person that we love" Blaine explodes.

"Yeah what he said" Nick adds. Sam opens his mouth to speak but is cut off by Mr Schue.

"Actually Nick's audition song ties in with this weeks theme. Your assignment is Robbie Williams. Pick any song and put your own spin on it" the bell rings and everyone stands to leave. I move over to Nick and let him slip his arm my waist.

"You were great Nick. You never cease to amaze me with your..."

"Awesomeness?" Nick cut across.

"I was going to say musical ability but that works to" I continue.

After school Nick drives me back home. Even before I enter the house I know that something has happened. Quickly I run to the front door with Nick at my heels. Cautiously I open the door to the hallway.

"Hello?" I say to the nothingness.

"Come to the living room Lucy. There is someone here for you" my mum says with tears in her eyes. Slowly I move to the living room and see Thad standing there.

"Thad! What are you doing here?" I ask shocked

"Doing something that I know could save both of your skins" he replies as mum leaves the room.

"What do you mean?" Nick asks

"Listen. Sebastian and Jeff are trying to find a way to break you guys up. So you can't let them. No matter what happens. You two are made for each other"

"Whoa whoa whoa, back up. Jeff? Why would he be in league with that lying meerkat?" Nick asks as we both try and piece together what we had heard.

"Dunno. Anyway I have to go" he replies as he stands to leave.

"Okay. Thanks for telling us Thad" I quietly say as he passes me. When the door closes Nick comes over and leads me to a chair.

"You okay? It's just that you are really pale sweetheart. Don't worry there is no way that you could do anything to make me even consider breaking up with you" he coos in my ear before gently bringing our lips together.

"Nick I'm scared. What if something happens and we are separated?" I ask

"Did you not hear what I just said? Nothing is going to come between us. I promise" he answers softly. "Come on let's go and rehearse your song. I really want you to kill it" he says changing the subject. So we go up to my bedroom so that I could practise.

"Awesome. That is going to be totally awesome" he states as we both collapse on the bed after three hours of perfecting vocals and choreography.

"I think I'm dying" I say panting

"I can help you there then" he mutters seductively.

"I like your thinking Duval" I purr as we lean in and force our lips together. Then in a state of passion I roll us over so that I am on top of him. As I begin to suck his neck he lets out a low moan.

"You like that?" I whisper as I begin to remove my top. All he could do was gasp and whine. I give his ear a quick nip. "I asked a question. I need an answer. Do you like that?" I persist forcefully.

"Oh dear God yes!" he exclaims grabbing my waist removing any previous space that was there.

"That was incredible" Nick pants as I collapse next to him.

"You got that right" I breathe

"Was that your first?" He asks. I nod

"Yours?"

"Yeah. I am so happy that it was you though"

"I need to sleep" I whisper turning onto my side. I feel Nick wrap his arms protectively around me and kiss the back of my neck. Then sleep takes hold.

"All right so who's up first?" Asks Mr Schue. Tentatively I raise my hand just high enough for him to see. "Okay then off you go Lucy" I stand and move to the middle of the floor and take hold of my guitar while the backing starts.

During the bridge I remove the guitar and pull Nick up to join me on the stage as we start the intricate choreography. In the last chorus I prepare for the big finale. I spin. One. Two. Three times. Then I drop down but Nick's hand misses my neck by an inch and I am sent tumbling down to the floor. The last thing that I remember is the back of my head making contact with the hard marble floor. Then nothing.

"Seb you need to hear this" Jeff pants as he enters my room.

"What?" I ask not looking up from my French book.

"Nick and Lucy were performing a Robbie Williams number and they were meant to finish with a head drop"

"So?"

"Nick missed Lucy and she hit the floor. Hard. Nick told me that she has some form of amnesia which means that she only remembers when you and her were together"

"Wait. What?" I ask taken aback

"She thinks that she never left you"

"Let's go"
