Traverse Town, Basement
"So you found the Keyhole." Leon said. "Yeah. The Keyblade just started glowing and locked it automatically." Ciel said.
Leon thought about something. "In Ansem's reports," Leon said.
"Ansem's reports?" Ciel asked. "Oh, right. I forgot to tell you. You guys left before we could explain. There was a researcher named Ansem. He studied the Heartless and their ways. But his reports were scattered all over different worlds." Leon explained. "Alright."
"As I was saying, in Ansem's reports, every world of the stars has a Keyhole that leads to the heart of that world."
"Heart of the world?" Ciel said. Leon nodded.
"The Heartless are trying to steal the heart of each world. They exist in every heart, and come out when Darkness enters the heart. And when the Heartless manage to steal the heart of that world, the world will disappear." Leon said. All three gasped. "No. . ." Ciel moaned.
"That's why every Keyhole must be looked, by the Keyblade. You're the only one who can do it, Ciel." Leon said, with a smile. Ciel was afraid Leon was going to say that.
"And besides, it'll will serve you good to see—" Leon said. "B-But I-I'm—" Ciel stuttered.
"You'll be fine, Ciel." They all looked up to see a young woman. She had long brown hair, some of it was braided. She also had a pink dress, with a red cover up. She had bright green eyes. She smiled. "I know you can do it, Ciel." she said in a smooth voice.
"This is Aerith. She's a friend of ours." Leon said. Aerith smiled once again.
"Would you like some tea?" Aerith asked, holding out a tray towards Ciel. Ciel nodded and took a glass of a reddish, but orange liquid. "Thanks."
Ciel took a sip, and almost choked. It tasted strange. Like soured milk. He didn't want to hurt Aerith's feelings, so he forced it down with a smile.
Aerith offered a cup of Barley Tea, but Leon refused it.
"I asked Bard to fix the ship for you." Aerith said. "Really? Thanks!" Ciel said.
"Oh yeah!" Ciel cried. He pulled out the mysterious Gummi block. "We found this Gummi block that's different from the others. Do you have any idea what it's for?" Ciel said. Leon shook his head. "Go talk to Bard. He'll probably know." Leon said. "Great, thanks! Come on, Finnian, Sebastian, let's go!" Ciel cried as they got up.
They went to Accessory Shop and told Bard and gave him the mysterious Gummi block.
"You guys are flying a Gummi ship, and don't know a thing about Navigation Gummi blocks?" Bard asked. Ciel just blinked. "You're a bunch of idiots. Interspace is no playground."
Bard sighed. "Fine then. I'll install it while I'm fixing the ship." he said. "Really? Cool!" Ciel cried.
"Well, I did tell you to come to me if you're ever in trouble. I'm always here to help!" Bard said, chuckling.
"But, while I'm working on the ship, I need you to run an errand for me." Bard said. Ciel cried. "What?!"
Bard smiled. "Ever heard of 'give and take'? Don't make me angry!" Bard chuckled. "Alright, fine!" Ciel said. He really didn't want to make Bard angry.
Bard gave Ciel a plain book. "I need you to deliver a book for me." he said.
Ciel looked at the book. "Is this a love diary?" he asked bluntly. "Hell no!" Bard cried, a bit annoyed.
"Just take it to the old house past the third district. You can't miss it!" Bard cried as they left the shop.
