Chapter 14

To whom I'm stuck with… to the devil and demon inside of me...
just let me go.

I couldn't tell where am I now... It's too dark... I'm too tired... too tired to even care... too tired to even live anymore. I can't figure out what's going on or what even am I. I'm totally lost. It's happening too fast... Somebody -

"Ah, look at yourself! So, pitiful! So, sad and so lost…! Why is it bothering you? It's not even you! Let it be as it should be... Let the demon roam, it'll never be your fault, I'll carry it all. Don't hang on hope, let go of what you cannot handle, I'll handle it for you." I can hear something! A voice! Which not of mine!

"Who-?!"

There stood in front of me, a beautiful long the same brunette-haired lady. Her eyes were so beautiful bright red like blood and wine but also that's the eyes of a demon…! Her eyes gloomy and filled with hatred towards the world she lived in.

"Who are you?!" I shouted out loud, it echoed back and forth in this dark space.

"You can tell... I'm part of you, Rin-chan~!" Her left hand reached out for my chin and slightly push it upwards so I can take a closer look at her, "I'm you~ You created me. A thing you've created to escape your own misery… It's fine... It's fine, things - will work out, somehow~"

I was taken by her last sentence, "That-!"

"I've found you! Now you find me~! Find yourself, Rin-chan." She giggled and slowly fading away as bright lights blinding me.

It's so quiet...

Slowly, my eyes opened tiredly. My whole body felt numb, restless. No matter how many times I've fallen asleep or passed out, it gets tiring every time.

I've lost count on how many times I've passed out.

"You should not move around so much, milady." I heard a sound of cups clanking, nearby me.

Quickly, I rose from the bed and turned to see on corner of the room, a man in black butler uniform, I'd seen him before, he's the one who'd saved me back then.

As well, he's the mysterious green man... who'd told me my name. "Are you the green -"

"No, I'm not. Just because my hair is green and I also apparently have green eyes, doesn't mean I'm him, the green king." His eyes glared me, irritated by the question as if it's not the first time he got the same question.

"So… who are you? How do you know me?" He's quite different from back then, more serious and menacing. Or is it just my imagination.

"It's not about me, it's all about you, Haruna. But how do I know? Hmm…" He pretended to wonder, "Well, actually, I don't know you that much, honestly." His eyes bore into her tired and dimmed orange pair.

"Your King?"

"I served as the right-man of the 6th King, The Black King. Though, I, myself doesn't know much about him, he's practically like a shadow. Quite the ironic." He took a sip of his cup of drink elegantly.

"Black King-?!" My mind went to theorize whether it this 6th King was the high school guy who'd brought me here using his strange power.

"Yes, he was the one that brought you here." He replied as if he could read my mind, which in fact, it was very creepy. "Anyway, you have quite a lot of questions in your head, don't you? Well, given by your current condition." He plastered a smirk which turned into a smile in second. "I can tell you everything I know but with one condition." He stood up from the small coffee table and made his way nearing me to the bed. He sat on the edge of the bed and began to tell me about everything he knows, or what he wanted to tell.

Long short story, I was in a body of a dangerous lady unbeknownst not to everyone in the world, probably for the best too. Though the King seemed to take a notice of her and my existence, after an incident. She, the demonic - goes by the name, Akemi Hikarin, an unknown thing? Even he doesn't know how to describe her. Somehow, I recognized that name... It's felt like it was me, at certain point but then by action, I knew I wasn't capable to murder even a bug.

"Anyway, thanks for telling me my name back then..."

"Huh?" He raised an eyebrow, quizzical by my statement.

"Wasn't it you who -"

"Ah… I've thought so..." He sighed in distress, "Have you ever heard of twins before?"

"Twins? EH? The two of you?!" I was in complete shocked.

"The one you've met before, that's the real Green King. While, I'm just a servant of the Black King." He messed with his hair, the same light green hair as the other one, given the fact he's the other twin of him. "It seems like everyone had took a notice of you, eh? Well, it's not quite the surprise... You're the one that created -" He paused, reluctant to continue, "- created this chaos..." And he looked away, to the window on the wall.

"M-Me?"

"Yeah, yeah. You and Akemi, the trouble duo, now in the same body." He closed his eyes as he leaned back with his hands supporting him. "Now, now, about the condition I talked about before. I wanted you to never seek for Akemi, at any cost."

"Eh? Why? I thought the whole point of you telling me is to seek her?"

"At some point, yes. But who knows what could happen if you meet her at this circumstance." He seemed genuinely concerned and wonder the possibilities, good and bad.

"What do you mean?"

"Nothing." He lashed it off. "I supposed what road you take from now, it's all your decision. So, you decide it for yourself…" He paused, "After all, this is your story." He muttered underneath his breath, though I can hear it clearly.

"Time to go back now, milady Haruna. My duty is finished here." He smiled as he stood up and handed out his gloved hand, "Let's go shall we, towards the ending."

I still got loads of questions but it doesn't seem like he'll answer it. Silently, I reached for his hand and followed him to stand up from the large luxurious bed. He snapped his finger and thus the surrounding of the mansion like room disappeared into pitch black. The next second, the surrounding began to re-shape itself and it was somewhere different, we're in somewhere outside. I was awed by what had happened. This was how I got here in the first place.

"This is the Black King and his comrades power. Don't be so surprised, it's not your first time being teleported. He'd done it right? To drag you here, into your own... misery world."

I was taken back by his word, "What do you mean?"

"You're here for a reason. Well, don't we all. By the time you've realized it, I hope it's not too late... I genuinely hope so." He kissed my hand before disappearing using his teleportation power. He's so mysterious and weird! I'm getting lost even more by his bunch of quizzical statement, he did it on purpose! Stop with the puzzle already! Give me a break! I mentally cursing myself and everything, "Wait... Where am I, damn it?!"

FUCK MY LIFE
