A Moment of ecstasy chapter 14
Tucker lies in his room watching Scrubs bored.
It's kind of ironic that this show is on the only channel I have… he thinks to himself.
Suddenly his cell phone rings.
"Hello." He answers his tone flat.
"Tucker.." a voice says on the other end, Tucker sits up quickly.
"Dad?" he says his voice filled with panic.
"Yes Son, I'll be home soon I had a merger with another company out of state and-" his dad says his tone casual.
"Dad your lying." Tucker interrupts
"What how dare you."
"Dad you hurt me and Evan… Dad you almost." He pauses to hold back his tears; he swallows his pain and takes a breath.
"Dad you almost killed him."
"You little brat, I would never… How dare you!"
Tucker lets his emotions go he lets out a cry.
He lets the tears trickle down his face, feeling as though his dad just jammed a knife into his heart and twisted it slowly.
"You answer me now boy!" his dads voice stern and sharp.
The pain turns to anger quickly.
"GO TO HELL!" he yells into the phone then he throws it pieces of it hit the floor.
He lets out a choked sob.
"Tucks?" Caplin walks into the room and sees the young man sobbing.
He quickly walks over and places his hand on his shoulder.
"Hey, hey settle down deep breathes." Caplin soothes.
He sits down on the bed careful of the boy's leg and hugs him softly.
