So hi everyone! I know that it's been forever, but getting prepared for life is hard. ;A; I also got writers block and got really lazy.
Chapter 14
Keitorin was slightly embarrassed that she had just walked into Kyoya's room, but what most surprised her was the way she actually felt towards the situation. She leaned against the door, and then sighed.
"Why is it always him?" she rubbed her head.
"Keitorin? What are you doing in front of Kyoya's door?"
She turned to look to her left and there stood no other than Tamaki.
Keitorin waved her hands in a waving motion in front of her, "I promise it was nothing! I simply walked into the wrong room! It can get a bit confusing around here!"
He laughed, "It's okay! I understand!"
Keitorin wiped the sweat that had somehow accumulated on her forehead, "I hope that he doesn't ask…PLEASE don't ask!"
"Don't forget that breakfast is in an hour!" said Tamaki.
"What? O-oh yes! Haha, well if you don't mind I'm going to be going now!" She rushed away towards the garden.
"What was that about?"
"Haru-chan!" Honey yelled as he saw Haruhi coming out of her room.
"Wow, Haru-chan! You look so pretty in that dress!"
"Thank you, Honey-senpai. My dad always does this when we go on trips."
"That's right! He did that last time we went to the beach!"
Haruhi nodded, and they began to walk towards the dining hall. As they passed they looked out of the windows that were in the hallway, and saw Keitorin outside.
"Do you think Keit-chan is going to be okay?"
"Yeah, I think that she just had a bad dream."
"Takashi and I are worried about her, right?"
Mori nodded.
Kyoya and Tamaki were the last one to the table at breakfast.
"We apologize for being late," said Tamaki.
"It's okay, Tama-chan! We're having pancakes this morning!"
Everyone was talking to one another and enjoying themselves, except for Keitorin and Kyoya. They were more a like than they thought.
After everyone ate, they all went their separate ways.
"Alright everyone! Today is our day off! Remember to just have fun on the beach or whatever it is you want to do," Tamaki had told them.
"Hey, Haruhi! Want to go hang out in the shops? After that we can go hang out on the beach!" asked Keitorin.
"Yeah, I'd like that!"
"Okay! Let me go get changed into something a bit more suitable for the occasion, and I'll be right back!" she winked.
The twins stood there with Haruhi.
"What is she up to?" they asked.
"That's Keitorin for you."
"Can we come with you?"
"I think this is girl time, and since Keitorin and I haven't gotten to be away from any of you since the trip started we are going to go hang out!"
"But Haruhi!"
"Don't even think about it."
"Whatever you say," they shrugged in their maniacal way.
"HARUHI!" Keitorin laughed. She was wearing torn bleached shorts, a light blue tan top that slightly showed her sides, and tennis shoes. She also had sunglasses and her hair in messy waves.
"Wow way to look like a hipster," said the twins.
"Comment on my style once more and I'll be sure that neither of you leave this beach," she smiled.
"Wow way to be the dark princess. We never said it looked bad,"
"At least you know I'm a princess. Come on, Haruhi!" she said shrugging her shoulders. Haruhi was shocked at how she just reacted to the twins.
"I-I didn't know you had that style, Keitorin."
"Well don't think that you've seen all of me! I'm very unpredictable when it comes to style," she spun around
"Yeah and when it comes to your personality, too."
"What was that?"
"Oh, nothing!"
"Time to get our shop on!" Keitorin grabbed Haruhi's arm and started running.
As they were running they passed Tamaki and Kyoya, and Keitorin made eye contact with Kyoya and winked. When she did that he felt his heart jump. What was that he was feeling? He liked it, but at the same time it was something that he wasn't sure how to feel about it.
"Kyoya?"
"Hm?"
"Did you see what she was wearing?"
"I think that Haruhi's dad packed for her again."
"No not Haruhi, Keitorin."
"What do you mean?"
"It was slightly revealing don't you think?"
Kyoya hadn't payed any attention to what either of them were wearing. He was too busy trying to determine what she was trying to tell him by winking. What did she mean? Was she trying to be flirty? Why would she be flirty? Why was he overthinking this?
"Tama-chan!"
"Hey there, Honey-senpai."
"Takashi and I want to go to the shopping area today, want to come?"
"Of course! It will give us a chance to go look at the commoner's shopping area! Let's go!"
"Haruhi!"
"What's up?"
"Don't you think that this is pretty?" Keitorin and Haruhi were in this one shop that sold beach clothing and knick knacks.
"What is it?"
"It's a bracelet, silly! It's said that if you and your significant other wear one, then it will bring good luck to your relationship! Why don't we get you and Tamaki one?" she winked.
"W-what? Why? Tamaki-senpai and I aren't in a relationship!"
Keitorin pouted, "Oh please! Like no one has noticed the two of you having interest in each other."
"I don't know what you're talking about. You know you and Kyoya-senpai haven't been so secretive either."
"What?"
"Going into each other's rooms by "accident," wanting him to spend the night with you, winking at him. Don't act like you don't have feelings for him."
"I-I don't have feelings for that asshole! He has nothing to benefit from me, so there's nothing that would make him-"
"Keitorin, is that you?" Just then a tall handsome boy with dark brown hair, lightly tanned skin, and golden brown eyes came up behind them.
"Akihito! Is that you?"
"Yep that's me!"
"How've you been? You look really good!"
"I've been really good! And well, you look even better!" Akihito rubbed the back of his head blushing.
"Why are you blushing? You're not falling for me again are you?"
"Only if you're not falling for me,"
"Wow, she's a real flirt… how would anyone ever know her true self?" Haruhi questioned.
"Akihito, this is Haruhi."
"Hey, Haruhi! Nice to meet you!"
"You too."
"So Akihito, what are you doing here?"
"Don't you remember how my family owned that little shop? Well we decided we would get more business here, and sure enough we have!"
"Thats great! How are your parents?"
"They're great! Would you like to come say hi?"
"Of course! Haruhi would you like to come?"
"No, no it's okay! I've got some souvenir shopping to do around here. I'll meet you back at the house later!"
"Okay, I'll see you!"
Haruhi left, and then it was just Akihito and Keitorin. The two went to the back of the store, and there stood a tall good looking man with darker skin than Akihito, and a shorter pale woman with dark brown hair just like her son's.
"Mama, Papa, look who stopped by for a visit!"
"Oh my goodness! Is that you Keitorin? Look at how beautiful you've become!"
"Thank you Mrs. Minami. It's been a long time!"
"Business isn't that bad right now, and my shift is almost over, so can I leave early so that Keitorin and I can go catch up?"
"I don't see why not! You kids go have fun!"
"Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Minami I will definitely come by again before we leave," Keitorin bowed.
"Come on!" Akihito said, grabbing her hand.
She laughed, "Okay, okay! Be easy! Remember how hard I can kick!"
"Who would?"
The two went into an ice cream parlor that was a couple of shops down, still holding hands.
"Hey boss? Isn't that-"
"Keitorin holding hands with that guy?"
The hosts turned around to see the two walking into the ice cream parlor.
"Anyone up for a little ice cream?" asked Tamaki.
When Kyoya saw the two his stomach slightly twisted and his jaw clenched. "Not again," he asked himself.
"Time to initiate the plan that I just made up, WHO IS KEITORIN'S FRIEND?"
"Boss, that's not a very good plan name," said Hikaru.
"It sounds lame," added Kaoru.
"What did you say you rotten twin?"
"I'm just saying it like it is!"
"Look guys! They're going outside!"
"Are they still holding hands?" Tamaki asked.
"A strange man doesn't need to be holding hands with my daughter!" he added.
The two sat down at a bench in front of the parlor, and the hosts sneaked past them in order to listen in on their conversation. In order to blend in they got ice cream and went outside to eat it, just like the other two.
"So what brought you all the way out here?" asked Akihito.
"Oh, I'm just here with some bozos from school, it's nothing big really."
"If they're bozos then why did you come with them?" he laughed.
"Well I guess that you could call them my friends? I mean they're a club, but I'm not in it."
"What kind of a club?"
"It's a host club, but they're actually really lame."
"We're lame she says? Then why does she stay with us?" muttered Hikaru.
"Like always, you're hanging out with the guys. You know can't you be a bit of a girl?" he sighed.
"I have Lena and Alli! There's also Haruhi!"
"Haha you haven't changed a bit! How long has it been since we've seen each other?"
"Well let's see… I was in 7th grade in America, so I would say about 5 years? I still don't get how you recognized me!"
"Well who could forget those bright blue eyes of yours?" he winked.
I'm not sure where I'll be going with this from here, so I hope I can continue to keep you guys entertained! ^^;;
