Prince To Throne
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Vrak questioned, glancing back over his shoulder at Hexatrix, who just observed him without a word.
"I am merely concerned about you, my Prince," she told him, taking a few tentative steps towards him. She hesitated, which he noticed.
"What is it?" he questioned.
"You shouldn't have been so careless when you fought the Red Ranger," she told him.
"I was not careless," Vrak hissed.
"You abandoned your armor," she said.
"I was still wearing armor," he told her. He gestured to his chest, "Is this not armor?" He cast his arm down angrily, "My insect armor is armor as well. You know, hence its name as 'armor'."
"Yes," she said, hesitating again to speak out before her Prince, "But…it's not as strong or durable as the armor you wear on the Earth."
"I know, but have you ever wielded a sword while you also have claws?" he questioned her, "It becomes problematic."
"I told your father," she said.
There was a long moment of silence. Vrak clenched both of his fists, "You…you did what?" he screamed at her.
"I had to tell him," she said, regaining a cold composure, no longer worried about her Prince and his reaction, "It looked as though you would not survive, so alerting the King was the best course of action. You survived, clearly, but at the time it could have gone either way."
Vrak turned his back on her and pounded his fist against the wall, saying nothing. He just seethed in his anger.
"Dravo told me that things don't look good for you," she said, "Prince Vekar has apparently risen in the King's eyes, according to him."
"My brother is a fool who has never seen actual combat in his life," Vrak hissed, turning back to her, "And Dravo is an old soldier who I'd think would understand fighting battles for yourself."
She said nothing, seeing if he'd speak again. When he did not, she spoke up, "What will you do now, Prince Vrak?"
"If Vekar is in a more favorable position than I, then I must make a move that puts my position above his…"
[Goseiger 25. 21:37-21:49]
A giant Stinger moved its hands over itself, as if surprised that it was now a giant. The Knight Star Guard Megazord lifted its staff and slashed the giant foot soldier across the chest once, and then rammed the Beetle Zord into the Stinger's chest, taking grip of the giant.
With little effort they turned in a circle with the Stinger and then threw it over their heads. It landed on the ground, between hills, and then exploded (note: explosion to be edited it to replace dust cloud).

"Sending Stingers to fight us?" Jake asked, "And in giant size? They're getting desperate." The team was walking down the sidewalk that ran through one of the parks in Harwood.
"We did just gain a large power boost," Noah said, "They might be trying to figure out the extent of it."
"But seriously? They enlarged a Stinger," Jake said.
"Did you see an insect soldier or Org for them to enlarge?" Gia questioned, "No, so they did what they could."
"I'm not sure why we needed the Knight Star Guard, though," Emma admitted.
"If nothing else it gave us practice with it," Troy said.
"I guess that makes sense," Emma replied.
"You know what?" Troy said after a few moments of silence, "We should all do something fun, celebrate."
"Celebrate?" Jake asked, "Coming from you?"
Troy looked to Jake, "Well, we have a new power, we defeated Vrak, we're doing a lot better. It may be a bit cocky of me to say, but we're doing a lot better now, and we should celebrate somehow, do something fun. I know that there's a hard fight ahead of us, but for now, let's celebrate while we're ahead."
"What do you have in mind?" Gia asked him.
"How's soccer sound?" he asked, he looked to Jake, "I know you like it, and well, you've come a long way so far. We all have, but you really learned a lot."
"He did," Noah said, "I agree with Troy."
Gia nodded, "Yeah, why not?"
"Sure," Emma nodded.
"Alright then!" Jake said happily, "I haven't been able to play for a while!"
"Well, let's go to the school's field and play a bit," Troy said, leading them on.
Not long later they were at the school, playing with Jake and Noah (at Jake's insistence) against Troy and Gia. Jake was outmaneuvering everyone, and making them all look like fools, scoring again and again, only stopped momentarily by quick moves from Troy or Gia that took the ball from him very briefly.
"Emma, come on!" Gia called over.
"Yeah, we could use another!" Troy said, "He's too good!"
"I'll be right in!" Emma called from a bit farther away. She was in the trees that were nearby, doing something in the bushes that they couldn't see.
Jake put his foot on the ball and leaned on his bent knee, "You guys want Noah? I mean, I'm barely using him…"
"I wouldn't mind changing sides," Noah said, "I mean, you could use me for some calculations, angles and such…but the game is too fast for me to do that," he said, "Besides, you get it more than I do."
"Experience beats calculations sometimes," Jake said, waving his arm, "Go, I don't mind playing three on one."
As Noah walked to Troy and Gia, he looked at Troy, "You call this a celebration?"
"Yeah…not one of my better ideas," he said.
"It's one for Jake, if nothing else," Gia said, "That's not good enough. I want to crush him now."
"I think we all do," Troy said.
Off in the woods, as Jake scored on them again, Emma could hear the shouts of annoyance from Troy's team. But she wasn't focused on that. Troy wanted them to have a celebration of some sort, and Emma loved nature and photography, so she figured she'd be off in the bushes, setting something up.
The problem was that even as she found a cleared spot to use that had good coverage and would make a beautiful picture, there was a lack of flowers, which would help a lot more. She looked around, making absolute certainty that she was alone, and then she opened her mouth and sang softly, letting the beautiful tone drift around her, over the bushes and the trees.
She smiled and hurried back towards the field once her work was done. Vrak rose from his crouched position, clad in his armor to appease Hexatrix, a least for now. Besides, he wasn't fully healed yet. He looked around the bloomed flowers and smiled a little.
"Perfect," he said before vanishing.
"Ok, we are never doing this again," Troy said.
"Why not?" Jake asked as he carried the ball under his arm, "Sick of losing?"
"Four against one, and we couldn't score once on you," Gia told him, "Either we need more people, or we need to slow you down somehow."
"I…how are you that fast?" Noah asked, unable to properly form that sentence from the start.
"I've never seen anything like that," Emma said, carrying the camera in her hands happily. They hadn't taken a picture yet, but they would after they went for some ice cream and went back, since Emma said she had something waiting for them. She'd be happy to wait for now, though.
"You sometimes get so in the zone that it's like you're something else completely," Jake told them, "That's what it is for me. I just get so into it that nothing can stop me, I just push myself without realizing it."
"Now apply that to Ranger duties," Gia told him.
"Please," Noah said.
"No promises it'll work out," Jake told them.
"Let's just hope for the best as we go on," Emma said, "I know that life isn't fair, it doesn't always turn out, but we have to have hope."
"She's right," Troy said, "We have to keep our heads held high and just hope things will work. We have to put as much effort in as we can so that hope becomes reality."
The group kept walking along the cement pathway, heading into town.

There was a spectral form appearing in the same area. Vrak stepped forward, clad in his insect armor, looking to his left, "Hello Rangers," he said.

"Vrak!" the team called almost at once. Troy reached for his Morpher, but Vrak moved in on them, staff in hand. His claws wouldn't have allowed for the movement he'd have liked, so as usual he didn't use the stronger armor as he wielded a weapon.
He rammed the dull end of the staff into Troy's gut and knocked him back, swinging it out to the side then to relieve him of his Morpher. The others reacted quickly, Morphing and lifting their sidearms at him, but he leapt back.
The Rangers holstered their weapons as Troy stumbled forward, aching.

Noah lifted his Morpher and slotted a card. He and Gia both reached out at the same time, taking grip of their weapons.
"We can take him," Gia said.
Jake and Emma stepped forward, weapons in hand. Jake pointed towards him, "With your wounds, we can do it." He flipped his axe around in his hand.
Emma looked back, "Troy, we've got him."

"Be careful," Troy said as he picked up his Morpher. He wanted to Morph, but he could barely stand upright because of the force Vrak put into the blow.
[Goseiger 8. 15:20-15:54]
Vrak swung his spear up and forward, unleashing tendrils of energy which encircled the team. He swung his spear back, throwing the Rangers over him. They flew through the air before landing on the hard ground. Vrak swung his spear out and rushed for them.
He moved quickly, deflecting the blows of the Ranger's weapons, getting a shot into Emma's chest before having his spear caught on Noah's weapon.
"We'll stop you," he said.
Vrak swung free, spinning around, facing Noah as the Blue Ranger was ready to fire, "You won't," Vrak told him, lifting his left hand and catching Noah's attack. Vrak spun forward and rammed his weapon into Noah's chest, sending him back.
Emma leapt up, firing, "Phoenix Flare!" she called, but Vrak caught the attacks against his spear. "What?" she questioned as she landed.
Vrak thrust his spear forward, sending a projection out, followed by a series of them, before hitting her with the real thing, taking her back.
He turned his head to watch Gia leaping down at him with her weapon in both hands. Jake was on his other side, jumping and swinging his axe. Vrak ducked and moved back, parrying Jake's axe before thrusting into Gia's chest and then knocking Jake aside as well. Jake rolled away from him.

"He's too strong!" Troy shouted, "Guys, use the Shining Mode!"
[Goseiger 8. 15:58-16:00]
The team came together, wounded. Vrak watched them, then swung his spear out, causing explosions around the team.

The team fell and Vrak took a few steps forward, "I refuse to let you power up," he told them. He lifted his hand, pointing at them, "Time to finish it." He lifted his spear, but hesitated, looking aside.

"I won't let you…," Troy muttered, lifting his Morpher.
"You're too weak," Vrak told him, "I hit you just hard enough. I don't want to finish you off, not yet. Don't make me do it. Just stand down."
"Never," Troy said.
Vrak shook his head. He looked forward, at the team rushing towards him. He swung his spear back, and then towards them, sending them flying again.
"I have no more time to waste," Vrak said, walking after them.
"No!" Troy shouted.

The Rangers landed and rolled in an underpass of some sort, cement pillars around them. Vrak just casually walked towards them, standing, "It's nearly time."

Vrak lifted his spear and rushed forward. Troy stood, watching as the team tried to fight Vrak off, but his spear kept them at bay, and he continued to score hits.

Vrak pinned Jake to one of the pillars. Jake grabbed his shoulder and tried to push him, grunting with effort.
[Goseiger 8. 17:00-17:03]
Jake got free and rolled to Gia. Noah and Emma attempted to attack, while Jake looked back, "Troy, just go! We've got it!" Meanwhile, Vrak continued to hit the team, being untouched.

"I can't just go…I can't leave you!" Troy shouted.
[Goseiger 8. 17:09-17:19]
The team continued to try, but Vrak continued to slash them aside. Gia looked back s she grabbed the spear, keeping it at bay, "Troy, please, go!"
He broke the grip and struggled as Noah came in, parrying his blows, catching it against his neck and on his shoulder, "What if he attacks you?" Noah called. Vrak pushed him away.

"I know…I'm a target like this," Troy muttered, looking at his Morpher. He could teleport, or he could Morph, and try to help…
[Goseiger 8. 17:22-17:25]
Vrak had the shaft of his spear across Emma's throat, her body pressed against his, "Troy, listen to them!" she called, trying to get free.
"Silence!" Vrak roared with a fury and determination not yet heard.
Emma let out a cough, "It's too tight…"

"It's to keep you compliant," Vrak hissed as he pulled back some more, "I need you complaint, for what comes next."
"What?" she coughed.
He looked up, "Goodbye Rangers," he said, vanishing, but this time Emma went with him.
"Emma!" Gia shouted, running that way, but they were gone.
"No way…," Jake muttered.
Troy stumbled forward. Noah helped support him as they came towards the other two, "What…what did he do?" Noah muttered.
Troy just stared, "She's gone…"
"Vrak," Malkor hissed, his back to the pathway, "That was the last of the Stingers you sent, and made grow giant. We're out of soldiers. Send a request for another battalion from your father."
"I would," Vrak said, "But there's something more pressing going on at this moment."
Malkor turned, "And just what…"
Vrak pulled Emma into view, unMorphed, wrists bound in front of her, Vrak was pulling her by the shoulder.
"What is a human doing here?" Malkor hissed, "A Ranger at that."
"Not for you to destroy," Vrak said. He looked at the silent girl, and then back to Malkor. "Hexatrix!"
It only took a moment for the woman to show herself, "Yes, my Prince?"
"I would like you to take her to my chamber," he said, "Fit her for the wedding dress already there."
"Wedding dress?" Emma shouted, finally breaking her silence. Malkor looked on in anger, tightening his grip on his axe. What was Vrak playing at?
"A human?" Hexatrix questioned, "My Prince, she's hardly a suitable…"
"She is a human, she is a Power Ranger. She inflicted a scar on Clawhate of all people, and…," he reached back, pulling a twig with a few leaves on it from Emma's back pocket. He had made sure to grab it before he returned to the ship. He grabbed her by the throat, "I want you to sing when I release you."
He released her, but she only glared defiantly at him.
"Fine," he said. He tossed Hexatrix the Morpher, "Destroy it."
"Wait!" she shouted. She looked at Vrak, then closed her eyes and started to sing a soft, slow song. Vrak held the twig out, allowing it to come to a bloom.
"What is she?" Hexatrix questioned.
"I don't particularly care," Vrak admitted, tossing it aside. He grabbed Emma by the shoulder, "You will soon be my wife, thus assuring my ascent to the throne," he told her coldly. He released her and took a step back, "I imagine my form displeases you. Even if I discarded my armor, my princely form would still be the same, I imagine."
He threw his arms to the side and his body shifted into the same young man whom had helped the team fight the Stingers in school days ago.
"You!" Emma called.
"Does this form not please you more?" he asked, thrusting his hands into the pockets of his dress pants. He was clad in a suit this time, "You will wed me, whether you wish it or not."
Hexatrix took grip of Emma's shoulder and pulled her along while Vrak walked towards the window, looking down at the Earth while Malkor stepped behind him.
"I know what I'm doing," Vrak said, shifting back to his insect-armored form.
"I hope so," Malkor growled.
Rots observed them from the shadows, and then he slithered away.
The four remaining Rangers teleported into the command center, shouting for the Phantom Ranger. They ran to the side passages, looking for him, seeing him hurrying out of one of them.
"What is it?" he questioned, "Did something happen?"
Noah looked up and down his body, "Did something happen to you?"
"I need occasional repair," he said, "Even with the crystal. Now, what is it?"
"Vrak took Emma," Gia said.
"We have to get her back!" Troy told him.
The Phantom Ranger hurried to one of the panels and activated it. Screens flashed to life and began to cycle through as the Phantom Ranger tried to gain a reading on her Morpher.
"All I can get is that the Morpher is in space," he said, looking at the Rangers, "I can't lock onto it to make it a new teleport marker either."
"Then what can we do?" Troy demanded.
"Noah," the Phantom Ranger said, "Together we might be able to develop something that can teleport us past any defensive barriers on the ship."
Noah nodded, "Right, I'll do whatever I can to help."
"Then let's begin."
"What is it you want me to do?" the gremlin monster asked Rots.
The blog-monster slithered around in his private ship's slimy chamber, "This has become a game of politics. We could crush the Rangers now, yet Vrak has decided that he'd rather play another game. I don't like it."
"I'm…do you want me to fight?" the monster asked, "I'm not the best fighter…"
"I want you to just play around," Rots said, "I want Vrak to realize something, and you're the perfect soldier to make him realize that."
"I will hopefully make you proud," the gremlin said.
"Go, Gremlea," Rots said, waving his staff out. Gremlea nodded and leapt forward, disappearing into a portal of his own creation.
"Just what are you playing at, anyway?" Hexatrix asked Vrak as they stood outside of a chamber door.
"I was going to wed Beezara," Vrak told her, "The Rangers destroyed her. I would have used that marriage and the power of her planet in order to become the next King, over Vekar. I have to settle for this instead."
"And why not just destroy them?" Hexatrix questioned, "Remove the final obstacle?"
"Do we know this is the final obstacle?" Vrak questioned, "A new team might just come up right after that."
"And just destroy them right after that," Hexatrix told him.
"Sometimes the non-destructive way is the way of doing this," he said, "Just trust me."
Hexatrix said nothing.
[Goseiger 21. 9:48-10:15]
Gremlea appeared giddy on a rooftop, laughing, "Ok, what should I do…?" he asked himself. He pulled out a wrench and a screwdriver-like object into each hand, "These will do…"
"Hey!" Troy shouted, coming to the monster's side, firearm up. Gremlea looked around and backed up.
"Oh, Rangers already? That's fast." He tried to run, but Jake and Gia came into view.
"That won't work," Gia told him as they cut off his escape. Both raised their firearms and the monster leapt back. He turned, ready to jump over the side, but Noah was there, his firearm raised.
There was still one way to go, so he moved for it, but the Phantom Ranger emerged, firearm up. Gremlea backed up and looked around, "I'm stuck!" he cried. He doubled down and put his hands on his head, "I don't know…," he said. He straightened and put his tools by his head, "Oh wait!" He crossed his tools and threw them out. Noah flipped aside while the Phantom backed up. The Earth Rangers ducked and Troy jumped back to avoid them.
The weapons returned to Gremlea's hands and Troy fired, just missing. He came up to his feet and rushed towards Gremlea.

Vrak folded his arms as he walked towards Emma, "That is a fine gown. Do you not agree?"
Emma's black dress was patterend across the torso and the back with a strange emblem. The center of it had a skull-like head, while a crimson dragon flanked one side, and a mechanical blue dragon flanked the other, with a banner rolling out underneath them.
"The royal seal of my family," he told her, "You are marrying into it, after all, so it makes sense for you to wear it."
"I won't do anything," Emma told him.
"I don't need you to do anything for this," he told her, "Nor after. Once this marriage ceremony ends, that's all I need. For all I care you can be locked in a cell for the rest of your life."
"Just what are you trying to do?" she demanded, "What is all of this? What's it for?"
"It's for power," he told her, shifting to his human form, "You have ten minutes. Use that time to think about what's about to happen."
[Goseiger 21. 11:01-11:37]
Troy swung his sword, drew it back, and slashed it, but the monster leapt back. As Jake and Gia attempted to attack with their weapons, the monster kicked them and leapt over the Rangers. He jumped again, avoiding shots from Noah and the Phantom Ranger.
As the Rangers came back up, Gremlea landed ahead of all of them, opposite of where he had been. He swung his hands out, "Ha! No! You guys can't hit me!" he laughed. He made gestures and gave thumbs up to the team.
The Rangers moved into something of a line. The Phantom Ranger turned to Troy, "We need a plan."
Noah lifted his weapon. The Phantom Ranger looked back to him, "We'll get him."
The Phantom Ranger looked back to Troy, "We should hurry. We don't know what's going on with Emma, or how long she may have."
Everyone looked at the Phantom Ranger. Time wasn't something they had ever considered, or wanted to consider.
Tremlea sat on a cement piece, kicking his legs out as if he were bored.
"I'm sick of talking, bye!" he laughed, jumping from the roof and landing on a far building, showing just how high his speed and jump abilities were.
"Hey, wait!" Jake shouted as the team started to run, except for the Phantom Ranger, who stood silently.

"Out of time?" Emma muttered as she sat on something, hugging herself, rubbing her hands against her opposite upper arms. How much time did she have left? Was it enough for the others to save her?
"I can save myself…," she said softly. If she had her Morpher, anyway. As she was she couldn't do much, not against Vrak, or that woman, or their leader, or any of the other commanders on this ship. She needed her Morpher and her cards. Even if she couldn't teleport, she could fight for some time.
She heard the door open and looked up to see Hexatrix. The woman stood at the door, "You should just give in. They won't come for you."
"They will!" Emma told her.
"I'm not trying to crush your hope," she told Emma, "This ship is too well shielded, and they will never fight through us, if they do somehow get here. It's best for you to submit and just do what Vrak wants."
"I'd rather fight him every step of the way," she told Hexatrix.
"Then you're in for a lot of pain," she said, "If you're good, obedient, you may grow comfortable. That's the only advice I can give to you."
"Why are you even telling me any of this?" she asked.
"I have my reasons," she told Emma. "Just what are you, anyway? You're not human."
"I am human!" Emma told her.
"Humans can't sing life into plants," she said.
"I…I'm a human…," Emma said softly.
Hexatrix turned and left, sealing the door again.
[Goseiger 21. 12:32-13:03]
Troy came to a stop on top of a stone wall and took a brief look around before jumping and looking around from his lower point. He made a sound as he reached for his firearm and drew his arm up, "There you are!"
He fired multiple shots for Gremlea, who was standing atop a light post. The shots missed, prompting the monster to reply, "Those are close!" He leapt away, evading the shots, landing on power lines and jumping off again.
Gremlea landed in a park, but Troy wasn't far behind, "Wait!" the Red Ranger shouted.
"No, I don't think so!" Gremlea laughed as he jumped away, higher into the air.
Troy drew his Morpher, "Let's do this then!" he shouted, "Time to come back here!" he shouted as he loaded a card and thrust it forward, "Twist Tornado!"
A crimson tornado formed in the air and managed to brag the monster. The monster cried out as he was swung around inside of the winds and thrown into a pool of water not far from Troy's spot.
Troy lifted his Morpher, "He's cornered! Hurry!"

"Just what is it that you're up to?" Hexatrix questioned Rots.
"I'm just livening things up a little," he laughed. Furus let out a low growl, standing near Hexatrix, hand tight on his club-like weapon.
"You sent a monster who could open portals, one who isn't a good fighter," she said, "One who will no doubt lead the team back here eventually."
"I did," Rots laughed.
"And why did you do that?" she questioned.
"Are you not growing tired of the Prince as well?" Rots questioned, "I have to imagine that Vekar might be a step up at his point."
"Do not let the Prince hear you say that," Hexatrix warned, "But I will do nothing of it."
"Let's just sit back and watch and wait to see what happens," Rots said, "From the safety of my ship."
"I must be off," she said, "The wedding is in a few minutes."
"Let's hope for the best," Rots laughed, eliciting a deep laugh from Furus as well.
[Goseiger 21. 14:25-14:47]
Gremlea knocked Jake and Gia aside. Troy moved in and kicked at him, but he avoided and managed to take Jake's legs out before hitting him again. He took down Gia, and then another shot into Troy to take him back.
He jumped to create distance as the Phantom Ranger arrived with Noah a few steps after him, "Is he really that strong?" the Phantom asked.
"Ooh…," Gremlea muttered, crossing his weapons, "Attack!"
There were a series of explosions in front of the team, but the Phantom Ranger moved forward. Then the rest of the team ran after him.
[Goseiger 21. 15:38-15:56]
The Rangers had pursued Gremlea to the city. Gia looked around, "He's too fast! We're running out of time!" she yelled angrily, thrusting her arms down.
Jake, sitting, sounded tired, "One hit…just one hit…" He soon came to his feet when he saw the monster swinging in on a rope of some sort. The team came together and Noah fired, but Gremlea went through them, kicking all of them before landing.
"I'm too good for you!" he laughed.
Troy started to come up to his knees.

As Gremlea just continued to laugh, Gia had her Morpher out while she was down. She slipped a card in and closed the Morpher, pressing it against the ground.
Gremlea continued to laugh, but vines broke through the ground and took hold of him. He let out a cry of confusion, "What is this?" he shouted.
"This is our chance!" Gia called out, coming to her feet, "Take us to the ship, now!"
Gremlea struggled, but Jake was upon him, punching him in the chest. The monster went down, still bound by the vines. He let out cries of pain as he tried to get away.
"I guess he can't take a hit," Jake said, "Well, with him being stuck, I guess we can keep hitting him!"
"No!" Gremlea cried out. He scrambled to his feet and jumped, a portal appearing in the air. He plunged right through it, followed by Jake. The others ran to the portal and leapt in a few moments after him.
Vrak's human guise stood beside Emma, one arm forcefully around her to keep her from fleeing. She glared at him out of the corner of her eye, but couldn't do anything. Malkor wasn't too far away, axe in hand. Hexatrix was before them, officiating.
"As the customs of the House of Vago say, you are to present her with your coat of arms. It has been done," she said, gesturing to the pattern on the dress, "She will be your bride once you take her by the hands and place a kiss upon her."
Vrak forcefully drew Emma in front of himself. He reached down to grab her, but she drew back and slapped him. She looked around, but Vrak grabbed her by the arm, back to his alien form.
"You get one of those," he hissed, "Now, be good."
"I refuse to go along with this anymore!" she shouted at him, "I'm a human! A Power Ranger! A guardian of the Earth! I will not allow this to happen!"
Before Vrak could do anything, Gremlea bounded into the chamber, crying out in pain. Vrak turned, "What?" he shouted.
A moment later Jake came through, followed by the others. "Emma!" Gia called to her friend.
"Gia!" she shouted, pushing Vrak back and hurrying towards them. Malkor swung his axe down, cutting her off. Hexatrix stepped forward, readying her weapon.
Vrak glared at the Rangers, "What?" he hissed, "How?" He looked at Gremlea, contemplating destroying him with his own hand. He looked back at the Rangers, who had their weapons drawn.
Troy drew his Morpher and placed a card inside, "Wind Drive!" he shouted, activating it. From the next room came Emma's Morpher and cards, drawn by Troy's card. He thrust them towards Emma.
"Mega Morph!" she called as she transformed into the Pink Megaforce Ranger, standing alongside her team.
"You're not escaping here," Malkor hissed, walking towards them. Vrak lifted his spear-like weapon and approached, while Hexatrix had her whip. The Orgs were nowhere to be seen.
"Let's do this," Troy said, lifting his Morpher, and then everyone else did as well. "Shining Morph Card!" they shouted, placing their cards into their Morphers.
In a flash of gold they stood in Shining Mode, hands on their new weapons. Noah and the Phantom Ranger (using his sword) swung at Malkor, stopping his axe, while Emma and Troy blocked Vrak, and Jake and Gia blocked Hexatrix, keeping the three of the aliens at bay.
Gremlea looked around and then created another portal, leaping through it. He didn't want to be a part of this.
The Rangers fought evenly with their opponents, gaining no ground. Troy looked to the portal, "Let's go!" he shouted, "We can't win like this!"
The Rangers maneuvered around their opponents and leapt through the portal as it slowly grew smaller. Vrak glared at the portal, "Where is Rots?" he hissed.
Before Gremlea could get anywhere, the Rangers slashed at him in the back. He went down and rolled, letting out a cry. The five Rangers in their gold armor approached him.
"He's yours," the Phantom Ranger said, stepping back.
Gremlea looked in fear at the team, and then threw his tools at them. They hooked into the air and went above the Rangers, exploding into a portal. The gold armor was sucked off of the Rangers.
"How did he do that?" Troy questioned.
"I…I don't know," Noah said.
"Let's just take him down," Emma said, lifting her blaster and firing a few shots forward. The blasts struck Gremlea head on, taking him down.

As Gremlea came up, Emma was loading a card and activating it, "Sky Zords!" she called out.

The five Sky Zords flew from her card, going to the Rangers. Each one loaded one of them onto their firearms and aimed, letting out a cry as they fired at Gremlea, destroying him with their Sky Zord attacks.
"Aah!" Gremlea screamed on the ground, "No!"
The Phantom Ranger looked back, watching as Zombats flew past him and to Gremlea, enlarging him at once. "I'll hurt you!"
Emma took steps ahead of the team as they looked at the giant monster. "I'll destroy it all!" he cried as he hit buildings, "Ha! And this! And this!"
Rubble fell around the Rangers, "We have to do something and fast!" Jake said, "He's out of control!"
"Let's summon the Zords, now!" Gia said as she too evaded rubble.
"I'll do it!" Emma said, drawing her Morpher and using a card. The five of them summoned their Zords and leapt into them.
"Here!" Emma shouted from her cockpit, firing lasers into the monster, knocking him back.

The monster leapt around in circles in pain.
"Good job," Noah said from his cockpit, "You doing ok?"
Emma kind of shrugged, "I guess so," she said, then drew a card, "Let's just finish it."
She loaded it and Star Guard formed immediately. The Phantom Ranger joined in, loading a card into his Morpher, "My turn," he said, transforming and summoning his other two Zords. The three of them combined into Lion Knight Megazord.
Star Guard drew the sword and the Rangers instantly loaded their cards.
"Victory Slash!"
Gremlea began to shout in fear.
"Victory Rush!" the Phantom Ranger called out as his card activated. A series of missiles flew from the Lion Knight.
Emma drew her arm out, "For everything that happened today, we will put an end to you!" she called, the others joining in as they slammed their arms down.
The Megazord flew forward and gave a flaming slash, which was followed through by the missiles and the Knight Lion Megazord crashing through. Gremlea cried out as he fell, exploding behind the two Megazords.

"Are you sure you're ok?" Gia asked Emma.
"I am," she said, happy to be back into her clothes again. Noah was observing the crest on the dress with interest.
"He wanted to marry you…," Troy said. No matter how many times he said it or thought it, it never sounded right.
"And he was also that guy who helped us fight at school," she said.
"Just what exactly is Vrak's endgame plan?" Troy wondered.
"I don't know," Emma said, looking at all of them, "But there's something we need to do."
The Rangers stood where Emma had sung earlier, surrounded by the newly bloomed flowers in this lush hidden area. She had her camera set up on a tripod and stood with everyone else as the picture was taken.
What had started as a celebration had returned to being one, at least for now. Because at least for now, they had won again.

I just want to note that there will be no chapter next week because of finals and stuff. I've fallen behind and as of now I do have the next chapter written, but that's all. I'll take a one or two week hiatus as a result and use that time to finish the semester and get some more chapters written.
