A/N: Hello everyone, and welcome back to another frighting chapter of "The Conjuring." I want to apologize for not updating this chapter sooner, but you know school work and other fanfics was keeping me busy. So I hope you are ready to read it, because it's a bone-chilling one. Lets read shall we.

Chapter 14: The Ghost Appears

Date: August 4, 2011

Day: 3

Time: 3:06 a.m.

Location: Residence House

The park workers, two paranormal investigators, and the two cameramen were all at the living as the grandfather clock continue to count down the time before 3:07. Those who are sleeping were Muscle Man, High Five Ghost, Benson, and one of the cameraman. Those awake are Mordecai, Rigby, Ed, Laura, and the other camera man. The awaken cameraman place the camera beside him with the sleeping cameraman just to give enough light for the room. The clock continues to tick tock for more than fifteen seconds.

Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock, tick tock, was all they could hear. Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock, tick tock. The sound of the clock was getting to Rigby, for he fear the supernatural activities more since he is a target. Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock, tick tock. Laura starts to feel something off in the room. Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock, tick tock. Time of waiting was going to be over for them. Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock, tick tock.

DONG! DONG! DONG! It's 3:07 now.

Those who were sleeping were awakening by the alarm from the grandfather clock. Waking up with three hours of sleep would make everyone want to go back to sleep. Muscle Man woke up to still feel the slight of pain from his injuries, Benson and High Five Ghost feel they didn't have enough sleep, and the sleepy cameraman suddenly jump up to fall to the floor. The other cameraman chuckled, while Mordecai and Rigby went to check Muscle Man.

"You're alright Muscle Man?" asked Mordecai who look exhausted from not getting a shut eye.

"Yeah bro... Just still a bit hurt from my trailer accident," respond Muscle Man as he only chuckled to himself before coughing. "I just wish I can get my hands on that son of a-"

"It's here," interrupted Laura with fear in her voice.

The two cameramen grab their camera to record what was going to happen. The park workers look around the room in paranoia to search for the ghost to make its presence. The atmosphere became cold with the clock continue to tick tock.

Tick tock. Tick tock. Tick tock.

"Rigby, watch out!" suddenly shouted High Five Ghost as he pushes Rigby from the spot he was at.

The brown raccoon drop to floor as High Five Ghost was then push to the wall by an unknown force. Ed and Laura went to the hurt ghost before the small wooden table that was at the middle of the living room was thrown away. The cameramen and the rest of the park workers back away with Mordecai getting Rigby up. Ed and Laura look around Hive Ghost as they notice he was knocked out from the attack.

"High Five Ghost! Can you hear my voice?" asked Ed who was at the right of the unconscious ghost.

High Five Ghost, you need to wake up right now!" said Laura as she was worried the ghost was much harmed.

Without warning, High Five Ghost rose up to surprise the two paranormal investigators. The ghost however opens its eyes to see green light and the color of the ghost changed from white to rotten green as well. The changed High Five Ghost chuckled like a villain as the onlookers were scared.

"Well, well, well, so you are the people who are living in my land?!" spoke the possessed High Five Ghost. "It's pity to live in a land that's not yours. This is my land! This is my property! This is my house! All of it is mine. Get out!"

"This is not your land. These people own this land!" argued Ed as he was holding the bible next to him.

"How dare you to say such a thing to me?! I swore this land as mine, evening after I rest from the grave. Not evening in death you will take what is mine! Get out now!" said the possessed ghost before High Five was dropped to ground.

"H.F.G!" said Muscle Man as he ran to his best friend. He looks at his friend to see he was back to his original color, yet he was still unconscious.

"It's still here," said Laura as the cameramen and the park workers look around to scan everywhere around the living room.

They look around for a while before the wall made banging noises with some of the pictures frames that are hung were dropped to the floor. The banging noises were all around every part of the living room wall. It continues for a few seconds before it stop. It was silence before the couch was pushed to the group.

"Get out of the away!" shouted Benson as everyone avoid the moving couch that crashed only to the wall.

The group was all aware of their surrounding as the ghost who possessed High Five was now using solid objects to try hurting them. The television was then dropped to the floor to surprise the victims of this horror show going on in the moment. With much paranoia with everyone, it seems the supernatural activity was stopped, but it was far from over when Rigby suddenly felt chills running down to his tail.

"Rigby!" shouted Mordecai as the brown raccoon look at him confused.

Rigby turn around to see his tail was rising up before it suddenly moves right. This causes him to be yanked from his own tail as he screamed in fear. The rest was in shock to see the ghost target the victim that had been suffering more supernatural activity than anyone in the house. He was thrown to one of the wall before he was thrown again to one of the window. The group chases after him, but it was throwing Rigby around like a rag-doll as he continues to scream in fear. Finally, Mordecai jumped to the brown raccoon just to build weight to whatever was holding Rigby.

It seems to work as Rigby was free in Mordecai's arm, yet he felt something grabbing on his neck and he drop his friend to the floor as he was floating in the air. He was choking as he was desperately gripping his neck to felt something holding him with a good grip.

"Let go of him!" shouted Laura. "He is trying to protect his friend. He is not the one you show go with. He's just innocent!"

It was silence before something begins to appear out of the air. There was a figure who was wearing a black dress that seems to be dirt by the dirt stain and torn on the dress. Mordecai saw a gray hand showing to be the one choking him as he notice a woman appearing as well. The woman has black hair, gray shin, and a mark around her neck. She opens her eyes to show the blue mocking bird the same green light. The spirit looks at Laura with a glare before she let go.

Mordecai was dropped to the floor and coughing from the discomfort on his neck. He looks up to see the confrontation between the ghost and Laura. The ghost was floating to Laura as it was about to strike Laura when Ed intervene with a cross in hand.

"Back away from my wife!" shouted Ed as he strong hold a white cross in his left land.

The ghost hiss as it back away from the man. It looks to do another activity before Muscle Man suddenly pounced towards it. It seem to fail however as he just went through, yet the ghost felt disgusted to feel the green man did not bathed much in his natural life. The ghost was anger by its fail attempt to get these people out.

"I'll be back!" shouted the ghost before she disappears.

Everyone in the room was in shock to see the ghost in person and to see it disappear. The cameramen was shaking in fear with the events that took place in the living room was recorded.

"Is it over?" asked Benson who interrupted the awkward silence.

"For now," said Ed as he only hugged his wife to comfort her.
