Giratina: POSCO DOES NOT AND MOST LIKELY WILL NEVER EVER EVER OWN POKEMON OR ANYTHING RELATED TO IT NOR DOES SHE OWN THE FOLLOWING INCREDIBLY AMAZING BAND!

Arceus: I am so glad Posco is back!

Palkia: Yeah!

Dialga: Yeah, and she changed her name and everything.

Palkia: Yeah!

Giratina: And she ditched us for Big Time Rush!

Palkia: Yeah!

Arceus: Aww Giritini, you're just jealous because you can't sing and that those guys are crazy good looking.

Giratina: ...I'm attractive...to...some pokemon...

Dialga: Maybe to a Deino! (They're blind LOL XD)

Palkia: Yeah!

"Help! Somebody please help!" A voice called.

Black clouds faded into the air from the Pokemon Center as a large group of people flew towards the scene. Crimson and orange licked at the wood of the walls as it grew rapidly, eating its way across the grass and floor tiles. The flames illuminated the dark like a nightlight that was coloured ginger. Pokemon of all kinds ran off in different directions, frightened of the hazardous flames coming their way.

A long rough shadow appeared on the ground before the burning building, the blaze brightening the figure to give off its image; a dragon with several teenagers riding along its back. Once they were all off and safely on the ground, it transformed into a black haired red eyed boy. The bystanders looked astounded that the super powered group known as the DexDefenders was there just for a fire. Red—or Captain Dragon—walked over to the Nurse Joy who was scared for her life.

"What happened here?" he asked, gesturing to the flames.

"I-I don't know, all I know is that we had an injured Charizard and suddenly the building caught flame!" She told them, nervously looking back and forth from the center to them, "I think someone's still stuck inside!"

Pearl and Red ran straight into the building while Blue and Ruby focused on putting the fire out. Platinum created an energy field to keep the fire from spreading and Green threw sand and dust at the flames. Diamond just stood there and Emerald had no idea what to do.

Inside the Burning Building

Pearl came running up to the sound. It was hard for him to see through all the smoke and he was scared to touch any of the flames. Breathing, however, was a snap. He didn't know why, but it felt like oxygen was what he was breathing in rather than smoke. He was panting by now anyway, which was a good thing since he obviously couldn't suffocate.

The cries got louder and Pearl found himself standing in front of a sobbing five year old, in the middle of a ring of fire. He was burned badly, and looked like he was in pain. Pearl didn't know how to get to him without burning himself, so he took his chances. Pearl ran straight through the fire, and still felt fine. No burns.

He smiled at his discovery and tried to pick up the little boy, who was currently flailing violently.

"Calm down Peewee!" Pearl shouted at him, trying to get him to calm down, "I'm here to rescue you!"

Then, the boy stopped and looked at him with teary hopeful eyes. He let Pearl pick him up as the older boy began to run back to the entrance. Then a loud crash could be heard. Looking up, they found that the ceiling was caving in. Flaming wood was falling right above them.

They closed their eyes and waited for the moment of impact, but it never came. They heard a groan and saw Sapphire holding the beam above them. She told them to run and that she'd be fine. Of course, since she's Sapphire, you kind of had to listen to her.

Pearl and the boy jumped through the doors the moment Sapphire dropped the beam. Dust exploded in mushrooms as the girl ran out with them.

Seconds later, the fire was put out, and the Dexdefenders lay tiredly on the ground.

"Oh thank you!" The Nurse exclaimed, "How can I ever repay you?"

"By giving us a few minutes of rest would be nice, thank you." Red said sleepily.

The nurse giggled before leaving them.

"Thank you Mr.!" The little boy shouted, running up to them excitedly, "Thank you so much!"

Pearl looked at him, "No problem kid, it's what we do."

The kid took out a notepad and pen and shoved them at Pearl, "Can I have your autograph?"

Pearl nodded nervously. He'd never signed anything for anyone before in his life. But he looked the pen and quickly and messily wrote, Fire Dude on it. He handed it back to the boy, who was now jumping up and down with joy.

"My names Mikey!" The boy, now identified as Mikey, exclaimed, "I'm, like, your biggest fan!"

"You don't say…" Pearl rubbed the back of his head sheepishly.

Mikey nodded, "Yeah! I'm going to be just like you!"

A voice suddenly rang out, "Mikey! Mikey! Oh Mikey where are you?"

A women, about thirty something sped up as she saw her son talking to one of the dexdefenders.

"Mikey!" She shouted, hugging the boy close to her, "Never run off like that again!"

Pearl sighed and rolled his eyes; kids and their mothers.

Later that day

Pearl felt sluggish the rest of the day. He felt tired and hot; like, burning hot. As if someone stuffed him in an oven for three hours. So hot that sweat trickled down his forehead and that his clothes stuck to his body. He didn't know why he felt so warm, and he most certainly didn't feel ill at all.

And now it was lunch and Yellow and Crystal were setting up the table while Diamond was making something in the kitchen. It smelt like ramen from a packet.

Pearl could tell nobody paid attention to him at the moment. Or at least, he thought nobody had. Platinum had noticed this a long time ago, around half way home. She had noticed the liquid on his face and his red skin, as though he'd gotten sunburned. She didn't want to tell anyone, or him, until she saw anything else. It could have just been a reaction from being in a fire for so long.

Platinum sat next to him at lunch. It felt like sitting next to a very large candle. But she kept quiet. Eventually she couldn't take it anymore. After her hair started to puff out on the side of her head from the heat, her Pearl-vein popped. It was around half way past the beginning of the meal.

"…Pearl…?" She asked flattening her hair so it was back to normal, "Are you feeling okay?"

Everybody stopped to look at him. His already pink cheeks reddened further when she said that and sweat dripped from his chin.

"What're you talking about, Missy?" He questioned, a fake smile plastered to his mouth, "I'm fine."

"No, you're obviously not, you're sweating and your cheeks are red," Platinum commented putting a hand on his forehead before hissing and taking it away, "And you're burning up!"

"Will you just butt out of my business!" Pearl shouted standing up from his seat.

An explosion echoed in the kitchen, followed by the popping of popcorn, and hissing steam. The blonde was frowning angrily, his hands balled into fists and teeth clenched as though holding back the urge to punch someone. Everyone flinched when things started flying their way; bottle caps, popcorn, and various liquids.

"Pearl please," Platinum begged, grabbing him by the shoulders to get him to sit down, "You're noticeably not well."

"I feel fine," He retorted as more things burst and shattered, "I don't have to look fantastic every waking moment, now do I?"

Everybody was shocked; Pearl has never acted this way before. Yellow and Diamond looked scared and frightened as they were peering out from the safety of their arms of which were covering their faces. More objects popped as the temperature in the room increased ten degrees a minute. Suddenly the sunset-eyed boy looked around in fear. His heart began beating quick when he realized what danger he just put his friends in. Pearl's eyes widened fearfully.

He turned on his heels before darting out the door. The explosions got softer and softer. When he got to the beach it became a faint whisper of whirring echoes. He couldn't stop. He knew he couldn't. He was a bullet with no destination; a fire with no extinguisher. The sand under his feet felt hard and sharp and the water that sprayed from the ocean hurt like a knife to the gut. Dizziness overcame him as quick as his super-speed.

The water seemed to be boiling. It was boiling. Rocks around him looked like they were melting and tree appeared to catch flame. His eyes were playing tricks on him; he knew it. But his thoughts were wrong. Grit became glass and sea became steam. Palm tree burned their way to the ground and stones turned hot and red. Pearl's heart skipped a beat…or several. He ran to where nobody would ever find him…

Back at the Ever-so Well-Known Beach House…

Diamond sat there. He blinked. He tried to blink away the horrible dream he thought he just had. But it stayed glued to him like he was to food. He was shocked. Did Pearl just…burn the place down and run away? Diamond didn't want to think about that; he just wanted his friend to be with him. Diamond looked around; walls were singed black, the kitchen looked like it just exploded, the air was thick and hot, and sweat adorned the faces of everyone.

Diamond didn't know what to say, "Wha-what just happened?"

"I-I'm not sure…" Crystal stuttered, also at a loss of words, "I think Pearl just detonated."

Platinum looked as though she was about to cry. The beret-wearing boy put a comforting arm around her shoulders as she buried her face in his chest. Pearl was just…so rude to her. Diamond couldn't believe what just happened.

"Whatever did just happen, I think Pearl's the cause of it," Red said, standing up from his chair.

Gold snickered, "Yeah, no duh Sherlock."

"Whatever, but we have to find him before he hurts more people," The crimson-eyed boy stated, "Diamond and Platinum will search down by Pallet, Pewter, and Viridian City; now, that include the forest; Blue, Emerald, and Yellow will wait here in case he shows up; I want two of you outside at all times; Gold, Silver, and Sapphire will go around Lavender, Celadon and Fuchsia City; Crystal and Green, I want you to stay downstairs and find out anything about what the heck is going on, okay? Ruby and I'll check from the sky; got it?"

Everybody nodded. Diamond grabbed Platinum by the shoulders and helped her stand. She nodded in her thanks before walking quietly out the door with him.

It was going to be a long night…

Arceus: Bet you humans didn't expect this to be a two part chapter thing, right?

Dialga: Yeah, yeah, whatever you say boss.

Giratina: Humans aren't that dumb...

Palkia: Yeah!

Giratina: Wait a minute, hey Pal, am I attractive to things that aren't Deinos?

Palkia: Yeah! (LOL Sarcasm!)

Dialga & Arceus: *Sweatdrop*

Giratina: *Fume*
