After I tucked Jordan in the bed, I headed back to the mountains. As I reached the top, I heard teeth chattering. Raising my eyebrow, I went into the tent that Bella and Edward were in. Bella lips were blue and she looked so cold. Freezing almost. She looked like a human popsicle.

"I can't sleep with all that teeth chattering going on." I joked as I zipped the tent up after me. I watched as she tried to speak, but was too cold to. She needed warmth and I don`t think Edward could provide that for her-

"Forget it." The leech said, obviously reading my thoughts. Yeah, he`s back to being called leech. You didn`t actually think that was going to last long did you?

I growled, "She may need her toes one day." looked him up and down, "And let`s face it, I am hotter than you." I moved forward to help my freezing friend until he placed his cold hand on my shoulder.

"Get. Your hands off me." I said with my voice full of venom.

"Keep your hands off her." He said back just as equal.

"D-don`t fight." Bella breathed.

"You already know I don`t love her anymore. It`s Jordan and will always be Jordan." I say to him as he released his hand from me. "You were the one who told me that, remember?" He roamed his eyes at his girlfriend with a painful look. "She gets sick, it`s on you." I muttered.

He finally nodded as I hesitated to get underneath the sleeping bag with Bella. Yesterday, I would`ve died for this moment, but now it just doesn`t seem right. I`m not cuddling against the right person. But, I have to do this for a friend.

"Wow, you`re freezing, Bella." She snuggled deeper into my chest which still didn`t feel right. "Relax. You`ll warm up soon...faster if you took your clothes off." I teased as I made eye contact with the leech who just glared at me.

"Jake." Bella scolded.

"I`m kidding." I mumbled. Her chattering died down as I thought about Jordan. She was there alone, probably freezing too. She had been in the storm as well. I wanted to ask why she was, but she didn`t see me. She saw my wolf. I felt terrible for not being there in time to save the rest of her family. She was broken and I wasn`t there to pick her up at first. I was too busy chasing after Bella when it should have been me chasing Jordan.

"May I ask you a question?" My attention snapped to the leech and raised my eyebrow.

Why was he trying to ask me something? "What?"

"If you and Bella did go...study and you imprinted on Jordan...would you completely abandon your imprint?" I was honestly shocked by his question. I didn`t know how to answer that.

"I imprinted on Jordan and the true meaning of imprinting is finding your soul mate. Weather Bella and I were together, I`d still find myself tangled in Jordan. We were meant to be together and I just now realized it." He nodded at my answer. I looked down at Bella who was peacefully sleeping.

"...You know, Jordan thinks about you too." My eyes lit up at the news.

"Really?"

He shrugged, "Well, other than Jackass Jacob and asshole, she thinks your eyes are the most beautiful thing there is." I don`t know if I should be offended or happy, but I was feeling something.

"Does she-she like me?" I was curious yet afraid of the answer I might receive.

"You made a really bad impression on her, Jacob. She solidly thinks you hate her." I felt jabs in my heart hearing the news.

"But, I don`t."

"She doesn`t know that." Well, I`m going to prove it to her and she`ll know.

I love her.

I walked around the mountain making sure everything was in place before the battle. I was about to walk back to the tent when I heard Bella and her bloodsucker talking.

"You have a list?" Bella asked.

"All time I spent with you. Number one is when you said you`ll marry me." Marry? Did I just hear that right? She`s going to marry him?! As a friend, I`m kind of happy, but she wants to become one of them. A bloodsucker. And if she does than the pack will have to kill her. I couldn`t dream of putting her in danger. The Cullen`s know that`s against the treaty to bit another human. It doesn`t matter if she willing too. They`re breaking the treaty.

I walked up to them without them noticing my existence. "You`re marrying him?"

She pulled away from her soon to be husband, "Jake-I..." She looked over at him with disbelief, "You knew he was listening."

"He deserves to know." I shook my head, not wanting to listen to anymore of their bullshit and left.

"Jake! Stop!"

"No, Bella-" He tried to protest.

"Don`t!" I heard the snow crunch underneath her feet as she followed me. "Jake, stop! Please!" I growled and turned around sharply.

"I`m done. I`m so done." Why did I even fall in love with her? She was a waste of my time. Time I could`ve been spending with Jordan and yet, I still continue to chase after her like a lost puppy. The pack was right. I needed to get my head out of my ass and see the light for once. The light that has been shining on me for almost three weeks now and I was a blind person.

"W-what can I do?" She begged.

"You can`t do anything. I can. By killing something." I needed to blow off some steam and we just happened to be in a battle full of bloodsuckers and leeches. I could kill one of those and maybe I wouldn`t be so pissed.

"No! You`re not thinking clearly. Don`t do that." I started to walk away.

"Bella-"

"Kiss me."

Did she really just ask me to kiss her?

"I`m asking you to kiss me." I turned around with incredulity showing clear on my face. I walked closer to her before stopping right in front of her.

"You think I`m actually going to kiss you? Bella, you`re getting married and you`re still going to drag me around like a little puppet? Is this suppose to some pity gift to me to make me feel better? Am I suppose to drop down to my knees and do whatever you say just because you tell me to? That has changed, Bella." I shot at her. Her eyes widened as I walked away, going to the clearing where everyone else were. I phrased, ripping my shorts too, but I didn`t care. I didn`t want the pack to see what just happened, so I focused my attention on fighting and remembering what Jasper told us.

The fight was happening and I just arrived. I let out all my anger on the sparkly bastards. I helped Embry finish off one of the leeches.

'Thanks, bro.'

'No problem.' I said back.

'Damn leeches.' Paul grumbled.

Sam spoke as he bit off the head of another, 'Stay on guard. They`re everywhere.'

We soon saw am image of Seth killing a leech by himself. 'Way to go little brother.' Leah cheered as her and Quil ripped the arms of the cold ones. Soon as time went on, the army decreased into nothing. We watched as the Cullen`s set the remains on fire.

"Thank you." Carlisle said. Sam nodded when I noticed one more of them.

'Leah, watch out!' She turned to her side seeing it before sprinting towards it. The leech got its arms around her which was really bad.

"Leah! Don`t!" Edward hollered as the female wolf struggled to get free from the newborn`s arms. I jumped in snapping at the powerful vamp and instead took the damage. I heard my ribs crush underneath the impact. I whimpered as two of the members finish the vamp off. My howling turned into painful screams.

"Jacob!" Bella called, My vision wasn`t clear and I couldn`t focus on anything.

"Jacob, hold on..." I wasn`t paying attention to what Edward was saying. My hearing kept going in and out. I clutched my arms around my body to try and stop the pain, but with no avail.

"Half his body is shattered." I caught. The sweat dripped down my forehead as the pain increased as I tried to move. I realized Bella was by my side. I growled, but quickly stopped as that caused more aching of my ribs.

Soon, the pack emerge from the woods, "Jacob, you idiot! I had it!" Leah shrieked. I could see the fear in her eyes. If I wasn`t suffering, I`d be laughing at her.

"Leah!" Sam snapped. I wasn`t really following the conversation. All I heard was my bones were pretty much screwed, me healing was making it worst and I`m being taken back to my dad`s. I was actually happy about that because I get to see my imprint again, but I don`t want her to see me in this position. I felt the pack lift me up while I grunt in pain.

"We got you." Paul encouraged. After a lot of careful walking, I finally made it back home. As we walked pass the living room, I saw my imprint on the couch with tears in her eyes as my dad comfort her. Her glossy eyes snapped to mine and looked at me with a troubled expression. I looked at the ceiling, not wanting to see her reaction. They carried me to my bedroom as I could hear her ask what happened. They helped me put on some shorts and gentle laid me down on the bed.

I waited for Dr. Cullen to get here which took at least an hour. When he finally did, hell came. Every time he re-broke my rib, I screamed. I never shouted so loud in my life. When the worst was over, I had a cast on my arm and dripped down in sweat.

"You`re all done, Jacob." Dr. Cullen told me as he packed up.

I nodded, "Could-could you bring...Jordan?" He gave me a small smile and singly nodded. I waited for awhile until I heard the door slowly open.

Then the beautiful girl stepped into the room.
