Chapter 14

Kagome had gone out of the palace to and into the Dark Forest. Her back was against one the bigger trees. She allowed her thoughts to cloud her mind. How could she allow herself to lose control? She had harmed the children and burned the room. But his tentacles had been touching her. It was disgusting how they slithered across her breast and sex like he owned her. How dare he try to violate her? Her rage began boiling. Sesshomaru had stopped her with a kiss. What did that mean? And where was her father? She needed him and yet here she sat, back against the tree angry and ready to cry.

Kauhn appeared beside her.

"So, he has found you and plans to make you his bride."He said with a frown.

"Why?" Kagome asked.

"Because, at your fullest you are about as powerful as me with half my power. He needs to make a child with you to get his power back. And when he gets it back, this world will be over." He explained sitting next to his daughter.

"Then you take your power back. I need to train with my own if I'm going to stop him." Kagome said softly.

Kauhn nodded. "You do need to train with your own and I will help you."

"Okay."

Kauhn let his hands set on fire before putting them into his daughter's core in her stomach. Slowly and gently, his power flowed out of Kagome and into his hands. Kagome just sat there and let his power leave her only to be replaced by newer power. It felt foreign to her but that was quickly replaced by the feeling of pain. She grunted lowly as her father withdrew his hands. Rubbing her stomach she grumbled at him for causing the pain. He just smiled as he breathed in his own. It felt good to have it back. Standing he raised his hand and from his claws black fire shot out in balls at a tree. The tree burned quickly before the flames died.

Kagome stood and copied her father's movements. Raising her hand, she put her claws together and shot out red fire at a tree next to the one her father burned. It burned brightly and furiously as it ate the tree before disappearing. Kauhn patted her head. Kagome smiled.

Kauhn began lifting off the ground and high into the sky.

Kagome closed her eyes and focused. Her feet began lifting off the ground until she was up with her father.

"You are a fast learner. Of course you get that from your mother too." He smiled.

Kagome nodded with a small smile. "So what's next?" She asked.

"We have a primal form. It is not hard to do. Concentrate all your energy to your heart before letting it all out." Kauhn explained before doing it.

He became a beautiful huge Dinosaur (much like tyrannosaurus rex). His black scales gleamed with deep red stripes racing around his body. An aura of death surrounded his huge form. And he must have stood at least 90 feet tall. He had four red eyes. One large mouth that was equipped with sharp jaws and looked deadly. He growled and nudged his heads at her. 'Your turn.'

Kagome focused her power to her heart before letting it shoot out her body. A slightly smaller version of Kauhn. All of the features he had she had. Nudging her head against his, she waited till he raised his head and opened his mouth. Black beams formed before they shot out into the sky. It cackled and boomed with the clouds before he looked at his daughter. Kagome raised her head and repeated his actions.

Kauhn was proud. His daughter was strong. And as he reverted back to humanoid form, he watched her look high in the sky before looking at him.

"We are going to have to go back to the west Kagome."He said softly.

She rumbled deep in her throat.

"I know, but you need to go back. The lord will go crazy until he knows you are safe." He chuckled.

She let out a growl before reverting back to herself. "I burned the children."

"Yes and they are still alive and want you to come back to them." He said patting her head.

"But dad, I lost control." She whispered.

"You were under attack and once you explain it to him, they will understand. And besides we still need to train with your powers."He said running his claws through her hair.

Kagome sighed before nodding.

The two beings disappeared from the Dark Forest.

Upon appearing in Sesshomaru's study, Kagome looked at him with sorrowful eyes.

"Where are the children?" She asked.

"Okan-san, we're right here." She heard Shippo's voice.

Kagome looked at the two children that were siting off to the side. She sighed at the remaining burn marks on their faces. Quickly walking toward them, she bent down before them. Her pale hand touched their faces gently. "I'm sorry guys. I was under attack when I set the room on fire. I didn't mean to either. I'm sorry." Kagome said kissing their foreheads.

"We forgive you Okan-san. We both know you didn't mean to do it on purpose." Shippo said taking her hand.

"Yeah, Kagome momma. Rin knows you didn't mean to. And it didn't hurt but it was hot." Rin said softly.

Kagome smiled.

"Who was attacking you woman?" Sesshomaru's voice cut in.

Kagome stood and turned to look at him. She had angry eyes but her anger wasn't directed at him.

"We will speak of him later." She growled.

Kagome's room had been redone and the children were camping in there with her father. She smiled as they played around with each other before leaving to go back to Sesshomaru's study. When she arrived, he was in his sleeping garments and drinking tea. Sitting next to him, she poured herself a cup before looking at him deeply.

"Thank you." She whispered.

"Any time." He said licking his lips at the memory. She had tasted like fire and lightening.

"Someone wants to marry me." She stated with a sigh.

Sesshomaru nearly growled. Someone wanted to what? She was his and he would kill anyone that would take her away from him.

"But he only wants to so he can have his full power once again. He needs me to make offspring so he can have it back." She growled looking out the window.

"I will not allow him to take you unless you want to go." He said cocking his head to the side.

"I like it here with you." She confessed, looking into his golden eyes.

"I like you here too." He said getting closer.

They were in an inch apart when there was a knock on the door. Sighing softly, Kagome kissed his check before standing. She winked at him before disappearing back to her room. Her eyes looked at the two kids snuggled up against each other in her futon. Shippo was on his side, his clawed hand resting in front of him. Rin was snuggled up behind him, her arms tucked on his back. It was cute the way they snuggled up against each other. Kagome took up the spot in front of Shippo on her side. She felt Shippo snuggle into her back before mumbling a goodnight.

Kagome and Kauhn were in the courtyard training. It had been a sight to see. They both attacked each other with precision and timing. Blocks and hits were thrown and neither was breaking a sweat. Their movement were a blur as they moved around the courtyard in attacks and defense. Kauhn landed a harsh punch to her mouth but it didn't faze her. She kicked him in the thigh before back flipping away. Blood dripped down her chin but she didn't mind, instead she smiled at him.

"You have done well. Go and bathe. We will meet here again tomorrow." He said kissing her forehead.

Kagome nodded before disappearing to the baths. Getting in the hot water, she sat in there for a while just thinking about her mouth when he entered into her mind.

"Did you miss me?" He asked with a chuckle.

"No." She said her temper already beginning to rise.

He laughed. "Why do you still try to deny what is coming?"

"Because I will never have your child so you can destroy the world." Kagome hissed, standing up.

His eyes appeared through the steam. "You will be my bride and the mother of my son. You have no say in that." His shiny purple eyes glowed.

"I have plenty to say!" She roared and so began the fire.

She lunged at the steam only to meet water.

"Uh come out now." She yelled.

Her red flames danced on top of the water in furry. The eyes moved about her in mockery. That only served to anger her more. And soon flames were shooting out of her body like a wildfire. She glared at the eyes with pure annoyance. "I am going to kill you." She hissed.

Something jumped in the water and held her from behind and whispered in her ear.

"Kagome calm down. Stop." He whispered.

Her mind recognized the voice before she herself did. And she did just that. The flames danced on the water for a moment more before disappearing. She slumped in his hold as he sat on the bench in the water. Turning her around, he looked at the tears of frustration on her face. Touching her face while his big hand, Sesshomaru kissed her forehead and brought her closer. Her arms wrapped around him as she let the tears out.
